Abstract

Historical awareness is an important component in shaping and preserving the nation's culture. Today, many students begin to ignore the importance of learning history. President Soekarno said that "Jasmerah" should never forget history. Therefore, to instill historical awareness for high school students, relevant learning media were made, by taking the colonial building of the Bringin Railway Station as a learning resource. The history of the Bringin Train Station is made into a creative and innovative learning video. This research method, using a 10-stage development model from Dick & Carey and statistical analysis techniques paired sample T-test which was carried out with the help of SPSS software. The results of the research conducted are proof that there is a significant increase in the value of the experimental class and a slight increase in the control class. So, it can be concluded that the instructional video media of the History of the Bringin Railway Station is proven to be effective in instilling historical awareness in students.

Abstract

This paper examines the children's playings at Kartini School Semarang. By Combining the annual reports, memorial albums, colonial magazines and newspapers, archives, literature, ego documents, then approached with history of mentality perspectives, we point out that they developed following Froebel's education system. Therefore, they integrated into the curriculum for the 1st-3rd grade, unlimited by type, philosophy, languages, or its influence on students, while the school resembled a children's playground.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hail belajar dan aktivitas belajar siswa Kelas 2 SD Kanisius Lodoyong dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make-A Match berbantuan media komik interaktif, jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan 2 siklus masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu, 1) perencanaan tindakan 2) pelaksanaan tindakan dan observasi 3) refleksi untuk setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 3 pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri 01 Tuntang dengan jumlah 21 siswa, teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik tes dan non tes, dan untuk analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif komparatif dengan membandingkan hasil siklus I dan siklus II. Data kuantitatif yang berupa hasil belajar siswa setelah proses pembelajaran berlangsung pada setiap siklusnya dianalisis. Hal ini di tunjukkan dengan dengan peningkatan hasil belajar dan aktivitas belajar pada siklus I dan siklus II. Data yang didapat pada siklus I  untuk hasil belajar 66,7 % siswa untuk tuntas KKM yang ditetapkan 65 dengan rata-rata 70,1, sedangkan aktivitas belajar siswa 48% pada kategori tinggi. Untuk siklus II prestasi belajar 95,2 % siswa tuntas KKM dengan rata-rata 80,2, sedangkan aktivitas belajar siswa 52% pada kategori sangat tinggi. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make-A Match berbantuan media komik interaktifdapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas belajar siswa

Abstract

Hasil kebudayaan dan benda cagar budaya sebagai atraksi wisata telah banyak menarik wisatawan untuk berkunjung ke tempat itu. Benda Cagar Budaya yang banyak dikunjungi wisatawan antara lain berupa candi dan situs sejarah. Di kawasan wisata dusun Ceto, candi dan situs sejarah menjadi tujuan utama wisatawan berkunjung ke Dusun Ceto. Namun ada kekhawatiran, dari beberapa warga apabila kawasan ini nanti “dijajah” dan tergerus arus modernisasi yang dibawa wisatawan sehingga masyarakat tidak lagi melestarikan peninggalan sejarah dan budaya yang menjadi warisan leluhurnya. Untuk itu perlu ada peranserta dari warga masyarakat dalam melaksanakan program konservasi di kawasan wisata Dusun Ceto. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk peran serta masyarakat di kawasan wisata Dusun Ceto dalam upaya melestarikan kebudayaan dan BCB di dusun Ceto. Adapun manfaat dari penelitian ini berfungsi sebagai pemberdayaan masyarakat yang memiliki kepedulian atas peninggalan sejarah dan warisan budaya yang harus dilestarikan. Metode penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi – partisipasi, survei untuk wisatawan, studi banding ke desa wisata, dan pendampingan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peranserta masyarakat di kawasan wisata Dusun Ceto memiliki kepedulian yang tinggi dan berperan aktif dalam menjaga dan melestarikan peninggalan sejarah dan budayanya. Hal ini ditunjukkan melalui kegiatan kerja bakti setiap hari Minggu di situs sejarah, pertemuan rutin, menghidupkan kesenian karawitan, dan mengadakan pasraman.

Abstract

Ecotourism is not the matter of ecology and economics, but also the evaluation and opinions from society. That means it suppose to be managed by them which is starting from the planning, implementation, and benefit of it. The popularity of Cetho village society who live around the Cetho Temple seem are unprofitable by the exotic of that temple. The exotic of the temple indeed hasbeen a big attraction for the domestic and foreign tourists. As a matter of fact that is interesting to be observed. Therefore, the problem is to be observed in this research is what are the potential resources of socio-culture in Cetho village, and how the Government and Tourism Organization Motivator have made the potential resources from this society. The result of this research that 1)Beganjuran Art (the Balinese instrument in procession the Balinese dance in the Hinduism ritual)in Cetho Temple, the story and legend of Cetho Hinduism was the ancestor of Balinese Hinduism People. 2) The ritual of voluntary collective work or mutual aid every Sunday morning is a solidarity among them. 3) Cetho people say, the contribution for them which is done by the Goverment not yet maximal. According to the Tourism Service of Karanganyar Regency, the contribution has been given only for facility and in helping to propagate the potency of society. If the tourism activity will be used of course that very depends to the budget plan from central government, such as through the tourism PNPM programme.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif analitis tentang gaya atau pola- pola kepemimpinan UKSW Salatiga tahun 1956-1993 berdasarkan sumber-sumber lisan yang dalam ilmu sejarah disebut sejarah lisan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan secara analitis tentang gaya atau pola kepemimpinan UKSW. Penelitian ini menghasilkan dokumen sejarah lisan tentang pola-pola kepemimpinan UKSW. Melalui sumber-su mber lisan dapat menyingkap hal-hal  lain di luar peris tiwa yang terdokumentasikan sebagai sumber sejarah. Proses penelitian menggunakan metode sejarah lisan dengan empat tahapan kerja. Pertama heuristik yakni mencari dan mengumpulkan sumber dari para aktor atau tokoh yang mengalami dan menyaksikan peristiwa. Kedua, verifikasi sumber (kritik sumber, keabsahan sumber, menyingkirkan bahan-bahan yang tidak relevan). Ketiga, interpretasi yakni penyusunan kesaksian yang dapat dipercaya untuk menjadi sebuah kisah atau penyajian yang bermakna. Keempat, historiografi yakni penulisan sejarah sebagai kisah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan elitis dan periodisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari tahun 1956-1993 terdapat berbagai model kepemimpinan yang mewarnai kepemimpinan di UKSW. Model kepemimpinan tersebut adalah kepemimpinan Democratic Leaders (Pemimpin demokratis), Authoritative Leaders (Pemimpin otoritative), sebagian besar ciri Affiliative Leaders (Pemimpin afiliatif), sebagian ciri gaya Coaching Leaders (pemimpin bergaya pelatih), dan Counselling Style Leaders (pemimpin bergaya penasehat). Sementara itu Gaya kepemimpinan Coercive (Pemimpin pemaksa), dan gaya Pacesetting Leaders (pemimpin penentu ketepatan/tim).

Abstract

Song Lir-ilir is one of the legacies in the form of music art in the time of Islam by Sunan Kalijaga, which at that time was used as a media to spread Islam. In social studies learning, on 7th grade junior high school has material about the period of Islam in Indonesia which is the material also discusses the relics of the Islamic period in Indonesia. But students do not yet know that Lir-ilir song is one of them and play an important role in the process of Islamization in Indonesia and meaning that are able to educate students's character. The purpose of this study is to explain students's understanding, character arising and the effect of Lir-ilir songs on students. This research was carried out on students 7th grade Class B of SMP Kristen Satya Wacana Salatiga 2nd semester year of 2018/2019, totaling 22 students. In the pre-test of this study students got an average of 7.9 which can be concluded that students do not understand or recognize Lir-ilir songs. In learning students are taught about the meaning and understanding of the song that teaches the value of tolerance and mutual respect, for fellow examples in the scope of the school; bullying, etc. Students also learned to sing Lir-ilir song in front of the class in groups. On the post-test average value of students's understanding increases to 90 so it can be concluded that students become undestand of the song Lir-ilir.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perubahan sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat Dusun Kerep dengan adanya Gua Maria Kerep Ambarawa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah sosiologis dengan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pengelola Gua Maria Kerep Ambarawa, warga Kerep, pedagang sekitar GMKA. Penataan Gua Maria Kerep Ambarawa, berdampak baik pada masyarakat di sekitarnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan Gua Maria Kerep Ambarawa banyak membawa perubahan secara sosial maupun ekonomi. Secara sosial antara lain: interaksi antar warga dan warga dengan pendatang atau pengunjung lebih terbuka, sikap toleransi antar pemeluk agama sangat baik, sikap gotong royong dan kekerabatan sesama warga semakin terpelihara, sikap komunikasi sosial warga terjaga dengan baik. Secara ekonomi perubahan yang terjadi antara lain: tersedianya lapangan pekerjaan bagi warga setempat, pendapatan warga meningkat, pendidikan menjadi baik, kebutuhan warga dapat terpenuhi, kondisi tempat tinggal warga semakin baik.Kata Kunci : Perubahan Sosial-Ekonomi, Masyarakat Dusun Kerep, GMKA

Abstract

Balitung, the ruler of ancient java. He can be the role model of true leader in modern era. From his era, we can study about how the leader leading something. Nowadays, people get much news about a court session on television. People eventually have shocked with the judgment resolution that doesn’t appropriate with justice. On Ancient Java era, the court session had occurred. That court session usually about dispute side by side. Learning about court mechanism on the past is a part of studying history. With studying history, people can use past event as education with comparing past event with present. Although, this research also held to find out about tax amnesty program on Balitung’s era. To find out about the topics, a historiographical research was held with epigraphy approach that using inscription as the main topics. This research consists of four stages: (1) heuristic, (2) verification, (3) interpretation, (4) writing. From this research it’s known that a court session was led by the lord of the state as a judge. To find out the truth, the judge held evidentiary mechanism called triprangama, consists of sakshi, likhita, and bhukti. After evidentiary process, everyone who can show the truth will win the court. An then, in order to get a tax amnesty the folk can apply for it to Rakryan Mahamantri I Hino (King Balitung Crown prince) to get an approval from King Balitung.

Abstract

This article discusses the history of the disaster that struck the Bulak Village in the area of Jepara, Central Java, Indonesia in the 1971-2000s period. Disasters that continue to occur in the village of Bulak force villagers to move to the new village location. The new village was named after Desa Bulak Baru as a sign that the name of Desa Bulak Baru was not part of the expansion of the old village, but as a collective memory of the name of their previous village. To see that change, the writer sees it in the lens of migration in the local definition, namely village bedol. Bedol Desa is a term for the people of the villages in Java who migrate. The study of village bedol events in the perspective of social history studies. In 1981 a village bedol event occurred in Bulak Village, Jepara Regency. The destination of the bedol desa is the location Desa Bulak Baru. Naming that includes a change of identity, but does not eliminate the old name as the historical basis of a Bulak Village. The method used in this study is the historical method, which includes: (1) heuristics or source tracking, (2) source criticism to verify the information obtained, (3) analysis, and (4) historiography or historical writing.
