Abstract

The legality of a product is the most important thing to measure the quality indicator of a product. Through Science and Technology for Entrepreneurship Program, SMEs disabled participants are given socialization about the importance of product legality e.g. Household Food Industry (PIRT), brand, logo and halal. The purpose of this activity is to improve the quality of SME products through product legality training. The method used is quantitatif method with experiment approach. For training method used PALS (Participatory Action Learning Center) methods. The PALS method approach emphasizes on the transformation of existing activities cultivated in the changes towards the improvement of the conditions of SMEs. Stages of the PALS method approach are the awareness stage, the process of capturing product quality and accompaniment. The result is that there is an increasing number of business actors who take care of PIRT, logos and brands. It can be seen from the significance value of paired t-test results, this is at pretest condition (before taking product legality training) and posttest when tenant has attended product legality training. With a significance value of 0.000 smaller than the critical value of 0.005, then Ho (initial hypothesis) is processed, so that there are significant differences of tenant who have followed the product legality training to improve the ability of tenant in preparing documents of PIRT, brand and logo for his business

Abstract

PT. Kharisma S.F is a company that produces sporty shoes with the Eagle, Nevada, and Fladeo brands. PT. Kharisma experienced a defect in the production process, which occurred in the sewing process and assembly process. However, the most common disability experienced by PT. S.F's charisma is a defect in the sewing process. This research focuses on the inspection of the production of Eagle brand shoes. With these problems, it is necessary to carry out quality control, which is useful for regulating the various products produced so that they can have good quality. To determine the level of a defect in the DPMO value and sigma value, to find out the various factors that cause the high level of product defects, and to provide suggestions for improvement and quality control to reduce the number of product defects, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Lean Six Sigma methods were used. Data were obtained from the company for three months and from 6 respondents to identify waste. From the results of research conducted. It can be seen that the factor that most influences the length of waiting time in production is the human factor. The highest identification of waste is defects. There are two types of defects, namely sewing defects and assembly defects. As for alternative improvements to reduce the number of defects, namely checking machine parts on the production floor with a checklist every day and replacing machine parts that are damaged or have expired, and providing regular training to operators scheduled once every three months.

Abstract

Quality control is one of the keys to the success of a company. PT Tirta Sukses Perkasa is a manufacturer of Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK) that strives to improve the quality of its goods in order to satisfy customers. The goal is to be able to identify the elements that can affect product failure or defects in order to produce results that meet consumer expectations. This study can find the main problem that results in excessive product defects by using the Quality Control Circle (QCC) approach. The next stage of analysis uses the Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) approach to examine the problem thoroughly by setting the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) to then be analyzed using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to find the root cause of the problem that can lead to defective products. The results of the QCC analysis of five types of product defects in the 600 ml bottle were found to be the dominant factor in the bottom silver defect with a total of 378 defective products. The results of the FMECA analysis have the highest RPN value on bottom silver with a value of 432> 324, which means it is very critical and the risks incurred are unacceptable. The results of the RCA analysis on product defects that have the highest RPN value include several factors, including human factors, machines, and raw materials. Recommendations for improvement are in the form of SOPs for setting machines and sorting raw materials before the production process and always monitoring production operators.

Abstract

In this modern era, customers are more concerned with the quality of goods offered by manufacturers. Therefore, the company maintains the quality and feasibility of the products produced to ensure customer satisfaction. Analysis of the quality of the production process at UD. DJAYA BERSAMA is rarely done. This resulted in many defective products that escaped and were then returned to the company. This research was conducted at UD. DJAYA BERSAMA in order to control the quality of shrimp cracker products using the seven tools and FMEA methods. This method is often chosen because it has been used by previous researchers and has proven to be effective as a tool for data processing and factor analysis of the production process in order to improve product quality and make a decision. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method collected by seven tools. This data collection is done in several ways. Primary data was obtained through observation, interviews with employees and production staff, while secondary data was obtained from related literature. From the results of research that has been carried out using the seven tools and FMEA methods, the level of product defects is still stable because there is no control chart that exceeds UCL and LCL. And the highest RPN value is on molen mace with an RPN value of 120.

Abstract

PT. PCS is an industry that supplies organic fertilizer products. In production activities at PT. PCS onlycalculates productivity from the efficiency of raw material costs, fuel cost efficiency, and profit from sales. And theperformance measurement system at PT. PCS has not displayed optimal industrial performance, from companyleaders, employees or workers, to suppliers or suppliers. With these problems, it is necessary to measure and improveto minimize the decline in productivity, and also to improve the performance of the company's stakeholders at PT.PCS. To find out which month the dominant increase and decrease from the results of the level and productivity indexcan use the POSPAC method and use the performance prism method to analyze the company's performance for eachstakeholder. With this, it can determine the weight of the smallest value of the measurement specification based onthe POSPAC indicator of the achievement of KPIs. From the results of the study, it can be seen that the increase inthe results of the level and productivity index in 2019-2020 was dominant in August, while for the decline in the resultsof the level and productivity index in 2019-2020, it was dominant in October and November. Meanwhile, from theresults obtained in the elaboration of measurement specifications based on POSPAC indicators from KPIachievements, including the percentage of workers who are satisfied and comfortable with the work environment, thepercentage of estimated time to find the cause of the problem, the percentage of product shortages and excess stock, the level of employee ability, the percentage of complaints bill payments. With these problems from the PT.Petrokopindo Cipta Selaras can implement a productivity measurement system using the POSPAC method, andevaluate each performance indicator with a performance prism on a regular basis.
