Abstract

The research aimed to provide the solutions for the method of selecting product development strategies based on competitive advantage criteria including Quality, Cost, Delivery, Service, and Morale (QCDSM). The research was done in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of Ikat woven fabric in which the collecting data used questionnaires for the customers. The questionnaire was regarding the criteria for competitive advantage for MSMEs of Ikat woven fabric in Kediri. The analysis methods applied Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) based on the criteria of competitive advantage. The results show that the MSMEs of Ikat woven fabric should replace plastic materials into recyclable materials, ensure that raw materials do not contain dangerous and poisonous materials, choose coloring materials that do not contain dangerous and poisonous materials, choose the third parties to deliver products, weigh dye materials according to their composition and measurement, and utilize domestic raw materials.

Abstract

This research examined determinant factors of good governance of a village government office in Sidoarjo. This research used a survey and a cross-section through a questionnaire as the data collection. The unit of analysis was the citizen who worked as a state civil apparatus and had used public services in a village government office. To determine the sample, the researchers used a simple random sampling. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that the rule of law and responsiveness are dominant indicators to form good governance. However, transparency and good commitment are less dominant indicators in forming good governance. The practical implications of this research are useful for the local government as they need to increase the role of good governance in improving public service performance, especially for village service.

Abstract

E-Samsat offers the service regarding motorized vehicle tax payment online. Still, in its implementation, it doesnot have many users. It is due to the community’s lack of awareness and the advantages that it can offer. Theresearch aimed to analyze the determinant factors in using the e-Samsat service in East Java. The effects of eachvariable (trust, awareness, ease of use, and intention to use) on each other were examined. The research wasconducted at Samsat joint office in Surabaya because it was the area with the largest motorized vehicle in EastJava. The research applied a quantitative approach. There were 200 respondents who were users of the service.They were selected using the cross-section technique through questionnaires. Then, data analysis used the PartialLeast Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. Data analysis results indicate that almost allhypotheses are acceptable and have a significant effect on each other. However, trust does not have a significanteffect on the intention to use. The analysis of these factors can be recommended to increase the acceptance ofe-Samsat services in East Java. The research can help the government to make decisions related to e-government,create technological innovations that facilitate payments, and improve e-Samsat services quality.

Abstract

This research study aimed to analyze and explain the condition of outpatient medical personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic at a Type D Hospital in Sidoarjo. The study focused on the increasing number of COVID-19 cases among patients and the occurrence of infections among non-medical employees. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing an interval-level data collection method through observation, questionnaire distribution, and a saturated sample technique involving outpatient medical personnel. The study findings revealed that workload and work fatigue had a positive and significant impact on the performance of medical personnel. Additionally, the level of family conflict was found to have a positive effect on their performance. These results highlight the crucial factors influencing the performance of outpatient medical personnel during the pandemic, emphasizing the need for support and interventions to optimize their well-being and effectiveness in managing the ongoing crisis. Highlights: Workload and work fatigue significantly impact the performance of medical personnel during the Covid-19 pandemic. The level of family conflict influences the performance of outpatient medical workers. Understanding the effects of workload, work fatigue, and family conflict is crucial for supporting and optimizing the well-being of medical personnel during the pandemic. Abstract

This study investigates the impact of product quality, product price, trust, and digital marketing on online purchasing decisions for fashion products. Using a quantitative research design and SmartPLS software, data was collected from 100 respondents through questionnaires at Qiyara boutique in Sidoarjo. Findings reveal that while product quality and price have a positive relationship, they do not significantly influence online purchasing decisions. However, trust and digital marketing demonstrate significant positive associations with online purchasing decisions. These results highlight the importance of building trust and implementing effective digital marketing strategies to enhance online fashion purchasing decisions. The implications of this study contribute to the understanding of consumer behavior in the context of online fashion retailing, assisting practitioners in developing strategies that can increase customer engagement and satisfaction. Highlights: Trust and Digital Marketing: This study explores the influence of trust and digital marketing on online purchasing decisions for fashion products. Non-significant Impact of Product Quality and Price: Findings indicate that product quality and price have positive but non-significant relationships with online purchasing decisions for fashion products. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui trend perkembangan studi manajemen rantai pasok keuangan di masing-masing negara Asia. Penelitian ini juga akan menampilkan studi studi manajemen rantai pasok keuangan di setiap negara di Asia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis bibliometrik. Data yang digunakan adalah artikel, prosiding dengan jangka waktu 10 tahun. Data dalam penelitian ini berasal dari database Scopus yang kemudian diekspor dalam bentuk Bibtex dan diolah dengan software R-Packges dan Webinterface. Dari proses yang dilakukan menghasilkan peta tematik dan akan terlihat kata kunci apa yang paling banyak muncul. Tidak hanya itu, analisis ini akan menunjukkan produktivitas negara-negara di Asia dalam publikasi ilmiah terkait supply chain finance

Abstract

The potential for the development of the beauty product industry in Indonesia is considered very potential. The beauty product industry and trade in Indonesia is projected to increase by USD 7.5 billion with a growth of 6.5% annually for the next five years. The huge potential in the cosmetic retail business is considered to trigger competition, especially in the supply chain system which has implications for product affordability to consumers. So that this becomes an interesting condition for research as well as efforts to provide certain improvement treatments so that there is an improvement in the supply system flow in the object company. In this study, 3 layers of the research process will be carried out, namely observing and describing the existing supply chain system in the research object company, supply chain system improvement and treatment using the lean six sigma model with the stages define, measure, analyze, improve, control (DMAIC), and make observations as well as measurement of improvement results using 4 (four) balanced score card performance indicators. Excavation of data using the method of observation, interviews, scoring key performance indicators in each perspective, and study of the company's operational administration data. Based on the results of the research, the supply system based on 4 balanced-scored card indicators still has shortcomings, namely the debt to equity ratio, customer quantity and quality, internal business organization and personnel accountability. The recommendations of this study can have an improvement effect for object companies and also a reference for other companies specifically with the same segmentation.

Abstract

Background – The presence of e-commerce e-health is a societal solution to health needs in the era pandemic. Social distancing rules cause considerable restrictions on community socialization, so they use social media alternatives to share experiences. That matter causes customers to talk about the performance of digital e-health services and create consumer engagement. Public opinion and ratings on social media become data information analyzed to improve service quality. Aim – This study aims to identify customer conversations on Twitter about e-commerce e-health to see its performance and compare e-health results networks in Indonesia. Design / methodology / approach – The research method in this study is the Social Network Analysis (SNA) approach and descriptive meaning to get the results of the formulated goals. Findings – The results of this study showed that pre-pandemic e-health users in Indonesia were more dominant in utilizing psychologist and psychiatric consultations and buying easy and practical medicines. During the pandemic, customers more often used doctor consultations related to symptoms and treatment of Covid-19, drugs and vitamins for self-isolation, supported by online payments. Research implication – This research contributes to e-health companies in Indonesia regarding suggestions for utilizing SNA through customer interaction on social media to improve the performance and competition of e-health services and determine superior strategies. Limitations – This research explores data only from social media Twitter, based on the material for data visualization is only in text. The scope of the study is only in the health business, so it can further develop in other sectors.

Abstract

Background – Fast food restaurants are a culinary business where competition is quite tight, especially in the Covid-19 era. To face competition between restaurants which is quite close, companies must have many strategies, one of which is related to the promotion strategy. Aim – This study aims to compare the marketing strategy content between Mcdonald's and Burger King and identify the focus of discussion of Twitter users on fast food restaurants. Design/ Methodology/ Approach – This research uses a social network analysis (SNA) approach with a qualitative descriptive research type. SNA is a form of social computing that extracts large amounts of data. This research uses secondary data sources from tweets with discussions of McDonal's and Burger King in 2017-2022 with data collection. Findings – The study results show that the marketing strategy related to promos carried out by Mcdonald's is Free Shipping, while Burger King's is Cashback. While on the menu, Mcdonald's innovates on the ice cream menu, and Burger King innovates on the burger menu. The marketing strategy related to taste at Mcdonald's and Burger King showed that the two restaurants had a delicious and delicious taste of the products produced by the two companies on the tongues of consumers Conclusion - Burger King's marketing strategy carried out via Twitter social media is superior to McDonlads' marketing strategy. Research implication –The research results show that Burger King is famous for the promos it provides, namely cashback where the promo can be used again when making subsequent purchases by consumers. Apart from that, the menu at Burger King is also very varied, starting from different colors and shapes of burgers, therefore Burger King can attract other consumers to buy their products. This strategy can be maintained to improve and maintain products at Burger King restaurants. McDonald's is famous for its delicious burgers, so this can increase consumer purchases, this strategy must also be maintained. Limitations – This study focuses on two company brands, namely Mcdonald's and Burger King, in this analysis using three marketing strategy criteria as keywords for data collection. The first keyword is a promo, the second is a menu, and the third is taste.

Abstract

This scientific article presents the outcomes of a community service initiative in Sumbergedang Village, Pandaan District, Pasuruan Regency, aimed at instilling a culture of environmental care and nurturing the creative economy. The study implemented various work programs, including the development of Information Technology-Based Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research demonstrated significant improvements in people's motivation to create a cleaner and more comfortable environment while bolstering the growth of the community's creative economy. The implications of this study highlight the potential for similar interventions to drive positive environmental and economic changes in rural communities worldwide. Highlights: Development of Information Technology-Based MSMEs: The study focuses on leveraging modern technologies to support the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the community.
