Abstract

Teachers have an important role in creating quality learning that involves aspects of knowledge, attitudes and skills. one of the skills that support is science literacy skills. However, this skill is rarely possessed by students, so the author tries to analyze how optimizing teacher performance can develop this literacy skill. The method used is descriptive qualitative, where the instruments used are observation and interviews conducted at SDN Karang Tengah 07. The results obtained in this data collection are optimizing teacher performance in three processes, namely in planning by preparing teacher knowledge related to science literacy skills and paying attention to the needs of students and learning objectives, implementation by inserting science literacy in reading time activities and the learning process, and finally evaluation by providing positive affirmations.

Abstract

Anafora dan katafora merupakan bagian dari kohesi gramatikal yang berperan penting dalam menjaga kesatuan dan keutuhan makna dalam suatu teks. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan penggunaan anafora dan katafora dalam novel Sabai Sunwoo karya Akmal Nasery Basral dalam novel Sabai Sunwoo karya Akmal Nasery Basral serta implikasi penggunaan anafora dan katafora pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Studi ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel Sabai Sunwoo mengandung penggunaan anafora dan katafora berupa pronomina persona, pronomina demonstratif, dan pronomina komparatif. Penggunaan anafora dan katafora yang ditemukan berjumlah 346 buah, di antaranya 271 buah penggunaan anafora berupa  dan 75 buah penggunaan katafora. Penanda referensial berupa pengacuan anafora ditemukan sebanyak 8 pronomina yaitu 1) pronomina persona pertama tunggal, yaitu saya, aku, dan -ku; 2) pronomina persona pertama jamak, yaitu kami dan kita; 3) pronomina persona kedua tunggal, yaitu kamu dan -mu; 4) pronomina persona kedua jamak, yaitu kalian; 5) pronomina persona ketiga tunggal, yaitu dia, beliau, dan -nya; 6) pronomina persona ketiga jamak, yaitu mereka; 7) pronomina demonstratif penunjuk umum, yaitu ini dan itu; dan 8) pronomina demonstratif penunjuk tempat, yaitu sana. Penanda referensial berupa pengacuan katafora ditemukan sebanyak 8 pronomina yaitu 1) pronomina persona pertama tunggal, yaitu saya dan -ku; 2) pronomina persona pertama jamak, yaitu kami; 3) pronomina persona kedua tunggal, yaitu kamu, Anda, kau dan -mu; 4) pronomina persona ketiga tunggal, yaitu dia dan -nya; 5) pronomina persona ketiga jamak, yaitu mereka; 6) pronomina demonstratif penunjuk umum, yaitu ini dan itu; 7) pronomina demonstratif penunjuk tempat, yaitu sini; dan 8) pronomina komparatif (perbandingan), yaitu seperti, sama seperti, persis, mirip, dan berbeda.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the tendency of teenagers to use slang language on social media X, leading to the emergence of new vocabulary. The use of slang on social media ultimately results in a low understanding of formal language, correct language structures, and misinterpretation of meanings. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the forms and meanings of slang vocabulary within the Full Senyum Community on X. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, employing observation, note-taking, and documentation techniques for data collection. The results of the data analysis reveal five forms of slang vocabulary: basic word forms, derived word forms, acronym forms, abbreviation forms, and reduplication forms. In addition to these forms, the analysis also identifies four types of slang word meanings: general meanings, reduction meanings, denotative meanings, and connotative meanings. The findings of this research have implications for Indonesian language learning in high schools. It emphasizes the need for a pedagogical approach that integrates the phenomenon of slang to enhance students' linguistic awareness and their formal and informal language skills. Furthermore, incorporating slang language as teaching material can make learning more engaging and relevant to students' lives.

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to map the trends in lecturer productivity research through VOSViewer-based bibliometric analysis. Theoretical Framework: This research explains the data analysis on the topic of lecturer productivity and its development using mapping tools on VOSViewer over five years. (2019–2024). Method: This method uses qualitative descriptive analysis to illustrate the performance of bibliometric analysis in forming a network visualization of the chosen theme. Results and Discussion: From the research results over five years (2019–2024), 1000 relevant published journals were found and classified into four clusters according to their publication years. Then, through the classification of journal data, a total of 66 articles published on the theme of lecturer productivity from 2019 to 2024 were identified. From the search results, there are 10 articles with the most or highest citations. It can be concluded that lecturer productivity is a field that can be combined with other fields to be studied. Research Implications: In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, bibliometric analysis is necessary to visually display mapping tools, especially in the education sector. The VOSviewer software application serves as a mapping tool to discover new items or trends, keywords, and the evolution process of the frequency of specific themes in research to obtain various information about scientific developments. Originality/Value: This analysis step is used to facilitate first-time users in accessing and utilizing VOSViewer. This research explains the data analysis on the topic of lecturer productivity and its development using mapping tools on VOSViewer over five years. (2019–2024). Thus, this research is expected to serve as a resource for researchers conducting studies and determining research titles.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the forms of expressive speech acts in the lyrics of the album 'Sialnya, Hidup Harus Tetap Berjalan' by Bernadya and to implement the results of the analysis in writing poetry lessons in high school Indonesian language classes. This research uses a qualitative approach with a documentation study method. The overall research results found 90 data points, including 45 data points of complaint speech, 12 data points of criticism speech, 10 data points of blame speech, and 23 data points of praise speech. The research results can be implemented in the form of a teaching module for the material 'Berkarya dan Berkreasi melalui Puisi’ based on song lyrics. Utilizing song lyrics as a medium can be an interesting alternative and can solve the problems faced by students and teachers in poetry writing lessons. This finding contributes to the development of pragmatic studies and innovations in literature learning in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of school principals in improving teachers' skills in preparing Learning Plans (LP) at SDN Tembulun 2. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques are carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that school principals have a strategic role in providing supervision, guidance, and training to teachers, which has a positive impact on improving their skills in developing Learning Plans. Obstacles faced by teachers in the preparation of Learning Plans, such as time constraints and lack of formal training, can be overcome through collaborative strategies and the use of technology facilitated by school principals. Improving teachers' skills in designing Learning Plans has been proven to be able to increase the effectiveness of the learning process, so that the quality of education at SDN Tembulun 2 has improved. This research emphasizes the importance of the role of school principals in developing teacher competencies and improving the quality of learning in elementary schools.
