Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of Work Engagement and Employee Readiness to Change on Organizational Change through Perceived Organizational Support as a moderating variable. This research is associative research and the type of data used is quantitative data. The data used is obtained from primary data and secondary data. The analysis method used is descriptive statistical analysis and structural equation modeling. The population and sample in this study amounted to 131 permanent employees in the Sharia Business Unit of PT Bank Sumut with the sampling used was proportional random sampling. The results of this study indicate that Work Engagement has a positive and yet insignificant effect on Organizational Change, Employee Readiness to Change has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Change, Perceived Organizational Support is unable to strengthen the influence of Work Engagement on Organizational Change, and Perceived Organizational Support is also unable to strengthen the influence of Employee Readiness

Abstract

As a company engaged in the field of social security for workers, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan carries out professionalism in providing services to all participants. Professional service is a major requirement for organizations in order to reach and retain their customers. In this case, one of the Employment BPJS customers is a participant. Even though it is mandatory for all workers in Indonesia, in reality the participation rate is still relatively low where data from 2016 – 2018 still shows unregistered workers at over 60% of the total workforce in Indonesia. The research was conducted using Path Analysis consisting of 5 independent variables (Reliability, Assurance, Tangibles, Empathy, Responsiveness), 1 dependent variable (Participant Loyalty) and 1 intermediate variable (Participant Satisfaction). The results showed that the direct effect of Service Quality had a positive and significant effect on the satisfaction of participants in the North Medan Employment BPJS. Likewise, the indirect effect of showing Participant Loyalty through Service Quality as an intermediate variable has a positive and significant effect on Participants Satisfaction of the North Medan Employment BPJS. Of the 5 (five) independent variables, the variables Reliability, Tangibles, Empathy and Responsiveness have a positive and significant effect on Participant Loyalty through Participant Satisfaction as an intermediate variable. Meanwhile, the Assurance variable has no positive and significant effect on Participant Loyalty through Participant Satisfaction as an intermediate variable.

Abstract

Human resources have an important role to support the activities, continuity and success of an organization or agency. Because human resources are the only resources that have reason, feelings, desires, skills, knowledge, encouragement, power, and work. Performance is referred to as an answer to the success or failure of the initial goals of the work program and policies that have been set. Matters regarding performance are very important, because performance is one of the most important measures of organizational quality. One of the factors that influence employee performance is individual characteristics and internal communication. In addition, work ethic is also an important aspect that affects employee performance. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of individual characteristics and internal communication on employee performance through work ethic. This research conducted inDeli Serdang Regency DPRD Office with a sample of 102 respondents. Data were analyzed usingdescriptive analysis and SEM (Structural Equation Model) analysis.The results showed that directly individual characteristics had a positive and significant effect on work ethic, internal communication had a positive and significant effect on work ethic, individual characteristics had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, internal communication had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and work ethic had an effect positive and significant to employee performance. Indirectly individual characteristics have a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work ethic and internal communication have a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work ethic.

Abstract

Weak economic growth and low foreign investment coming into Medan City from 2018-2022 are the basis for selecting an effective strategy to be implemented in Medan City. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors and formulate an effective strategy for increasing foreign investment in the city of Medan. The method used in this study is the SWOT analysis method (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threats) and AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) analysis. The results of the research analysis show that there are several strategies for increasing foreign investment in Medan City, namely: First, increasing the upstream-downstream industry partnership integration scheme in Medan City (0.415). Second, the preparation of regional incentive facility policies through the establishment of regional regulations (0.321). Third, developing green investment (green investment) in the city of Medan (0.136). Fourth, increasing information technology-based innovation to support potential leading sectors (0.128).

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the influence of retail service quality and price on consumer satisfaction at Suzuya Pasar Aceh Baru. Population of all Suzuya Pasar Aceh Baru consumers. Determining the number of samples to use the formula is 5 times the number of indicator variables, totaling 31 indicators used, totaling 155 samples. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The research results prove that Retail Service Quality and Price are the factors causing the decline in consumer satisfaction which has an impact on the decline in sales of Suzuya Pasar Aceh Baru. This is known from the respondents' answers where the respondents' perceptions regarding Retail Service Quality and Prices are Not Good. Personal Interaction, Promises, and Problem Solving partially do not have a significant effect on Consumer Satisfaction at Suzuya Pasar Aceh Baru. Meanwhile, Policy, Physical Appearance, Convenience, and Price show that they partially have a positive and significant effect on Consumer Satisfaction at Suzuya Pasar Aceh Baru. Simultaneous testing shows that Retail Service Quality and Price simultaneously influence Consumer Satisfaction at Suzuya Pasar Aceh Baru.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how much influence motivation and self-efficacy have on employee performance through work discipline as an intervening variable at PT. Puput Tani Mandiri. The type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Puput Tani Mandiri, totaling 80 people, the entire number will be used as a sample, so the sample in this study is 80 respondents. The method used is Structur Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.0. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of motivation on work discipline, there is a positive and significant influence of self-efficacy on work discipline, there is a positive and significant influence of motivation on employee performance, there is a positive and significant influence of self-efficacy on employee performance, there is an influence positive but not significant work discipline on employee performance, there is a positive but not significant influence of motivation on employee performance through work discipline and there is a positive but not significant influence of self-efficacy on employee performance through work discipline.

Abstract

The progress of an agency is influenced by internal and external environmental factors. The extent to which the agency's goals have been achieved can be seen from how much the agency meets the demands of its environment. Meeting environmental demands means being able to take advantage of opportunities and/or overcome challenges or threats from the agency's environment. Agencies must be able to carry out various activities in order to face or meet demands and changes in the agency environment. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of Leadership Style, Self Efficacy and Compensation on Employee Performance and Job Satisfaction in the Medan City Public Works Department. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this research was Medan City Public Works Department employees with a total of 350 respondents. Then the sample size was determined using the Slovin formula with a sample size of 187 respondents. The sampling method used was simple random sampling. Data analysis was carried out via PLS-SEM using the Smart PLS program. The results of the research show that Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Self Efficacy has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, Self Efficacy has a negative and insignificant effect on Job Satisfaction, Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction, Self Efficacy has a negative and insignificant effect on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction, Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction.

Abstract

The importance of examining employee performance is because government institutions must be effective so that goals are achieved both in quality and quantity. Low performance causes a government institution or organization to experience losses which can then damage the quality of a government institution (Paais, 2018). Problems that occur with employee performance, government institutions need a role in management with Human Resources (HR) management to be able to maintain and improve better performance. Therefore, employee performance is important for government institutions. An employee who has high performance can encourage the achievement of government agency goals. There are many supporting factors that cause a decline in performance, namely self-awareness, happiness at work and the physical work environment and job satisfaction. This research aims to determine the influence of self-awareness, happiness at work and the physical work environment on employee performance, mediated by job satisfaction. This research was conducted on all auditors at BPKP Provincial Province, totaling 140 people. Data analysis used in this research is the outer model and inner model with SmartPLS software. The research results show that self-awareness, happiness at work and the physical work environment influence employee performance. Self awareness, happiness at work and the physical work environment influence job satisfaction. Self-awareness, happiness at work and the physical work environment influence employee performance, mediated by job satisfaction.
