Abstract

This research aims to find out how much influence motivation and self-efficacy have on employee performance through work discipline as an intervening variable at PT. Puput Tani Mandiri. The type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Puput Tani Mandiri, totaling 80 people, the entire number will be used as a sample, so the sample in this study is 80 respondents. The method used is Structur Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.0. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of motivation on work discipline, there is a positive and significant influence of self-efficacy on work discipline, there is a positive and significant influence of motivation on employee performance, there is a positive and significant influence of self-efficacy on employee performance, there is an influence positive but not significant work discipline on employee performance, there is a positive but not significant influence of motivation on employee performance through work discipline and there is a positive but not significant influence of self-efficacy on employee performance through work discipline.

Abstract

The progress of an agency is influenced by internal and external environmental factors. The extent to which the agency's goals have been achieved can be seen from how much the agency meets the demands of its environment. Meeting environmental demands means being able to take advantage of opportunities and/or overcome challenges or threats from the agency's environment. Agencies must be able to carry out various activities in order to face or meet demands and changes in the agency environment. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of Leadership Style, Self Efficacy and Compensation on Employee Performance and Job Satisfaction in the Medan City Public Works Department. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this research was Medan City Public Works Department employees with a total of 350 respondents. Then the sample size was determined using the Slovin formula with a sample size of 187 respondents. The sampling method used was simple random sampling. Data analysis was carried out via PLS-SEM using the Smart PLS program. The results of the research show that Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Self Efficacy has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, Self Efficacy has a negative and insignificant effect on Job Satisfaction, Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction, Self Efficacy has a negative and insignificant effect on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction, Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction.

Abstract

The importance of examining employee performance is because government institutions must be effective so that goals are achieved both in quality and quantity. Low performance causes a government institution or organization to experience losses which can then damage the quality of a government institution (Paais, 2018). Problems that occur with employee performance, government institutions need a role in management with Human Resources (HR) management to be able to maintain and improve better performance. Therefore, employee performance is important for government institutions. An employee who has high performance can encourage the achievement of government agency goals. There are many supporting factors that cause a decline in performance, namely self-awareness, happiness at work and the physical work environment and job satisfaction. This research aims to determine the influence of self-awareness, happiness at work and the physical work environment on employee performance, mediated by job satisfaction. This research was conducted on all auditors at BPKP Provincial Province, totaling 140 people. Data analysis used in this research is the outer model and inner model with SmartPLS software. The research results show that self-awareness, happiness at work and the physical work environment influence employee performance. Self awareness, happiness at work and the physical work environment influence job satisfaction. Self-awareness, happiness at work and the physical work environment influence employee performance, mediated by job satisfaction.

Abstract

All countries in the world are experiencing a wave of business, industrial and technological revolutions that contribute greatly to the improvement of a country's economy. This development brings golden opportunities for electricity companies to increase their sales. The demand for electricity will continue to increase along with the development of technology, business, and industry. Sales channels are strongly influenced by external factors in the form of political, economic, social, technological, legal, and ecological factors. This research is associative research. In this study there are independent variables and dependent variables. The research focuses on the influence of the external environment, namely political, economic, social, technological, legal, and ecological factors as independent variables on electricity sales as the dependent variable. The data collection method used in this research by distributing questionnaires to customers. From the research that has been done, it is known that political factors, economic factors, social factors, technological factors, and ecological factors have a positive and significant effect on electricity sales. The external environment simultaneously has a positive effect on the sales of electricity. Seeing the magnitude of the influence of the external environment on electricity sales, it is only natural that management is aware of any external issues that may occur that can affect business performance. The author recommends that management create a team tasked with overseeing stakeholder management related to this issue, so that action can be taken when rapid changes occur in the external environment.

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the influence of service quality on customer loyalty at Uncle Sam's Cafe. The entire population of Uncle Sam's cafe consumers. Determining the number of samples to use the formula is 5 times the number of indicator variables, totaling 24 indicators used, totaling 120 samples. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The research results prove that the influence of service quality using five indicators as research gaps is a factor causing customer loyalty, which has an impact on increasing the number of visitors to Uncle Sam's cafe. This is known from the respondents' answers where the respondents' perceptions regarding Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness partially have a positive and significant effect on Customer Loyalty at Uncle Sam's Cafe. Meanwhile, Assurance and Emphaty show that they partially have no significant effect on customer loyalty at Uncle Sam's Cafe. Simultaneous testing shows that Service Quality simultaneously influences Customer Loyalty at Uncle Sam's Cafe.
