Abstract

The problem encountered in the study was that the lack of ability in short story writing skills in grade IV students at SD Negeri 195 Palembang properly. This study aims to determine the effect of using audio-visual media on the ability to write short stories in grade IV students at SD Negeri 195 Palembang. The type of research used is experimental and using a one-group pretest-protest design experiment. The population of this research is SD Negeri 195 Palembang. The sample in this study was fourth grade students at SD Negeri 195 Palembang with a total of 23 students. Collection techniques in this study using tests. The instrument used is the short story writing test. The criterion for success in this research is what if the minimum average value is 76. Data analysis techniques are processed by hypothesis testing and t-test. Based on the results of the analysis conclusions show that there is a significant effect of the use of audio-visual media on the ability to write short stories in grade IV students at SD Negeri 195 Palembang, with a tcount of 3.689 > ttable of 2.079. So it can be concluded that there is an influence in the use of audio-visual media in short story writing skills in class IV elementary school students.

Abstract

This research is based on gathering information in the field that educators in learning have not presented many game activities. This study aims to produce domino card media in science learning in class VI SD with a valid, practical, and potential effect. This type of research is development research using the Borg & Gall model including 8 stages of research and information gathering, planning, initial product development, preliminary trials, revision of preliminary trial results, limited trials, extensive trials, final product revisions. This research was conducted in class VI of SD Negeri 235 Palembang. The results showed that the domino card media was in the "very valid" category, namely 86.6% of the average results of the validators. The practicality tested on a limited basis is categorized as "very practical" which is 98%. The potential effect obtained from the distribution of student learning outcomes tests in the trial is broadly categorized as "very potential effect" which is 90.6%. Based on the results obtained, the domino card media is very feasible and can provide variations in presenting game activities, especially in learning science about the solar system. Dalam mewujudkan kegiatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Guna menfasilitasi peserta didik pada kegiatan pembelajaran lebih antusias dan berkesan dengan bermain namun belum sering dihadirkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media kartu domino pada pembelajaran IPA dikelas VI sekolah dasar dengan yang valid, praktis, dan efek potensial. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model Borg & Gall dari 10 langkah hanya 8 tahap yaitu: 1) penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, 2) perencanaan, 3) pengembangan produk awal, 4) uji coba pendahuluan, 5) revisi hasil uji coba pendahuluan, 6) uji coba secara terbatas, 7) uji coba secara luas, 8) revisi produk final. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan  di kelas VI Sekolah Dasar Negeri 235 Palembang dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan media kartu dalam kategori “sangat valid” yaitu 86,6%  dari hasil rata-rata para validator. Kepraktisan yang diuji coba dengan delapan peserta didik dengan nilai 95%. dan tanggapan pendidik dengan nilai 98% dalam kategori “sangat praktis”. Efek potensial yang didapat dari penyebaran tes hasil belajar peserta didik pada uji coba di kelas VI A dikategorikan “sangat efek potensial” yaitu 90,6% . Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh media kartu domino sangat layak dan dapat memberikan variasi dalam menghadirkan kegiatan permainan khususnya pada pembelajaran IPA materi tata surya.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between the Round Robin type of Brainstorming Learning Method and Student Learning Motivation in Class V Thematic Learning Materials at SDN 9 Kayuagung. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method with a correlation type. Data collection techniques used by researchers in this study were interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study indicate that from the results of the product correlation test the moment of the relationship between the Round Robin Type Brainstorming Learning Method on Student Motivation in Class V Thematic Learning at SD Negeri 9 Kayuagung. Which has a value of (r count) while the r-table value is 0.404, and 0.700 > 0.404 or r-count > r-table. Thus it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted or in other words there is a positive relationship between variable X (brainstorming type round robin learning method) and variable Y (student learning motivation). The level of relationship between variables X and Y lies in the interval 0.60-0.799, which means that the relationship between the two is strong. This shows that there is a significant positive relationship between the round robin type brainstorming learning method on student motivation in the thematic learning materials for class V SDN 9 Kayuagung.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to find out the factors that cause students' difficulties in writing narrative essays in class III Indonesian language learning at SDN 21 Sembawa. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The informants who were the subject of this study were teachers and third grade students at SDN 21 Sembawa. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data obtained from the research were then analyzed qualitatively and described in a qualitative descriptive form. The results of this study indicate that students' difficulties in writing narrative essays are based on indicators of writing essays, students still have difficulties in indicators of idea content, namely adjusting the title to the content. In terms of content organization indicators, some of the students' essays did not really match the content with the essay titles, and it was seen that the students' essays were still not optimal, the ideas made by students had not been developed properly. In the grammar indicators, there were many student errors in composing words in essays, mistakes in writing word and sentence structures and there were some words that were difficult to understand. On style indicators: choice of structure and diction, namely the vocabulary used by students is still limited, students still repeat the same words a lot. Spelling and punctuation indicators, errors in capitalization, and use of periods and commas. Factors that cause student difficulties are internal factors which include: student attitudes in learning activities and student motivation in learning, study habits carried out by students in class and at home. External factors consisting of the teacher's method of teaching in the classroom as well as the family and community environment.

Abstract

The animal character puppet media (wakarbin) developed in this study is made of plywood which is painted using watercolors that are adjusted to the color of the animal characters in the story, then given a handle so they can stand up and equipped with a story box with a background that matches the setting in the story. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development). The procedure used is the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely 1) Analyze, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. The results of validating the development of animal character puppet media (wakarbin) on storytelling material have a high level of validity. Based on the results of criticism and suggestions as well as assessments from the validators, the responses of grade II elementary school students and teachers of SD Negeri 32 Palembang were "very valid" and "very practical". Assessments from media experts who were validated by the validator obtained a percentage of 93.33% with a very valid category. Assessment of material experts validated by the validator obtained a percentage of 86.66%, with the category "very valid". Assessment of teacher responses obtained a percentage of 90.66% with a very valid category. The practicality assessment obtained from student responses was 94.66%, in the "very practical" category.

Abstract

This development research aims to contribute knowledge about the development of digital media storytelling for students and for elementary school teachers. In addition, it can be used as input and reference material in the implementation of learning using learning media and motivating students Digital storytelling media is developed using the Powtoon application which contains images, animation, audio, text and video into one unit. The test subjects in this study were class III students, through the validation of media experts, material experts and language experts. The method used in this research is Developmental Research using the ADDIE (Analylis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The results of the development show that Digital Storytelling media is feasible to use based on the validation results of material experts, media experts, and language experts with a percentage of 88.83% Implementation of Digital Storytelling media is carried out on 26 students The implementation results show an overall percentage of 93.1% that the digital storytelling media developed is in the very practical category.

Abstract

ABSTRAC This study aims to find out how students care about the preservation of living things in class IV SD Negeri 10 Gelumbang. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subjects of this study were class IV teachers and fourth grade students at SD Negeri 10 Gelumbang. Collecting data in this study using observation techniques, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, verification (drawing conclusions). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that science subjects can foster a caring attitude of students towards the preservation of living things in class IV SD Negeri 10 Gelumbang. Keywords: science subjects, caring attitude, students. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana sikap kepedulian siswa terhadap pelestarian makhluk hidup kelas IV SD Negeri 10 Gelumbang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru kelas IV dan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 10 Gelumbang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, angket serta dokumentasi. Abstract

ABSTRAC This study aims to find out how the use of the natural surroundings in motivating learning for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 03 OKU. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subjects of this research were class IV teachers and class IV students. Collecting data in this study using observation techniques, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, verification (drawing conclusions). Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the use of the natural surroundings can motivate students to learn science in class IV SD. Keywords: natural surroundings, student learning motivation, science subjects. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemanfaatan alam sekitar dalam memotivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 03 OKU.
