Abstract

Designed system is a tool used for staining blood smears automatically. This system will produce output in the form of blood smear preparations that had been stained with Wright fluid.  The process of taking blood and manufacture of blood smear preparations made by the medical officer, then the process of staining blood smear preparations will be designed automatically on this thesis. The results of the coloring stage will be integrated with the microscope and aids detection and recognition of white blood cells automatically have been developed previously. Key wordsAlat Bantu, pewarnaan, Mikrokontroler, Sel Darah, Sel Darah Putih, Sel Darah Merah.

Abstract

We developed a white blood cell detection system using Eigen window method. The input Data used in the program is a file image with RGB color level with the format of the bitmap image (.bmp). The extraction stage used the PCA method applied to several small windows. The main target of the system is to detect the location of the white blood cells in a given blood cell pictures

Abstract

Aplikasi pengelompokkan air mineral gelas dengan metode Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) dan Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) merupakan aplikasi pengenalan  yang digunakan untuk mengelompokkan objek berupa air mineral kemasan gelas. Pembuatan aplikasi ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Python dan library Keras untuk menggunakan CNN. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode blackbox testing. Hasil pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan data latih berupa dataset dengan rotasi 5 derajat dan tanpa rotasi menunjukkan bahwa menggunakan data latih yang lebih banyak pada metode SIFT menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam tingkat keberhasilan pengenalan dibandingkan dengan CNN. Akan tetapi membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk memproses pengenalan dengan metode SIFT dibandingkan CNN.

Abstract

Mall have a lot of access to the parking lot, which can leads visitor of the mall to forget where they park their car and how to get there. This paper presents a system to tackle this problem by logo recognition using a modified method, Modified Line Segment Hausdorff Distance (MLHD). The system takes image of a shop with the shop logo, captured so that the shop logo is on the top of the image as input.  The system cuts the top area of the image, where the shop logo supposed to be, and do the preprocessing which consist of edge detection using Canny and thinning using Zhang-Suen method before recognize the shop logo using MLHD.

Abstract

Advances in technology today, so that human work can be helped easily by using machines. One of the jobs that can be time-consuming is supervising. The supervision carried out requires human labor to oversee the events and activities recorded on CCTV cameras. With the development of technology, conducting surveillance is now easier. By utilizing video recordings containing activities, the design made can produce a program that can detect Sitting, Standing, Studying, Raising Hands, and Clapping activities. These detections can then be summarized into an activity logbook along with the time the activity occurred. The system is made using Python and the You Only Look Once (YOLO) method. The program is expected to be able to accurately detect activities with the specified classes. The results show that the YOLO method can find objects and their activities using the internet dataset and IP Camera dataset which produces the highest mean Average Precision (mAP) of 86.85% for the internet dataset and 99.96% for the IP Camera dataset. And the test results on the best model show an accuracy rate of 80.6% for the internet dataset and 98% for the IP Camera dataset.

Abstract

Digital image processing is a branch of informatics engineering. Image processing is an attempt to transform an image or image into another image using certain techniques.The purpose of this application is to improve the quality of the image. The use of test images and imagery training, for image training using the images not in the water, and the image of Laplacian, while the test images using the image of double Laplacian and white balance with the parameter 0.5, 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2.The design is made in the form of software applications to improve the quality of the image fusion method. For data input will use the White Balance and Laplacian filter as a comparison with the original image taken. Then they will release the data output using the Weight Map that in a Luminance Weight Map, Chromatic Weight Map and Saliency Weight Map. In this resarch, applications using Visual Basic.Net 2015.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has now become a very heartbreaking disaster for all inhabitants of the earth. All activities and life are certainly disrupted due to this epidemic. Education is also one of the areas that is hampered, all levels of education from TK, SD, SMP, and SMA, while in college must carry out the teaching and learning process online. By controlling emotions, it can have a good impact on controlling one's emotional intelligence. Humans generally have 2 ways of expressing their emotions, namely verbally and nonverbally. Verbal ability is to express everything that is felt consciously in words, while nonverbal ability is to express what the body feels using media on the body, such as hand movements, shrugging, facial expressions, and others. This system will classify emotions from facial expressions using the CNN method and face detection using the Viola-Jones method. Viola-jones is a method for detecting facial objects on images and CNN is a method for recognizing facial expressions. The viola-jones method has an average accuracy of 85.67% for detecting the location of faces and for CNN, the average accuracy for classifying emotions on faces is 52.46%.

Abstract

Technological advances in the world of information in all areas of life science includes medical information. Detecting white blood cell is important to indicate cause of illness. This paper present a system using SIFT (Scale Infariant Feature Transform) method to detect the white blood cells. As a system, user can input a picture of blood cell and the system will automaticaly give an output be in the form of cropped picture.

Abstract

In this paper,  marker detection and pose estimation algorithms are presented for Augmented Reality applications. This marker detection algorithm was designed specially for square-shaped marker. It consists of line detection, corner detection, and square-shaped detection. The pose estimation algorithm is used involving intrinsic and ecstrinsic paramater of camera. The position of a marker can be known from the ectrinsic parameter of camera which is translation and rotation.  Translation and rotation ocurr in three coordinate axes, which is x,y,and z.The translation value can be obtained from the midpoint of the marker, and the rotation value can be calculated with rotation matrix. Several experiments have  been conducted on various images and video sequences. The results of the experiments show that the algorithms can detect marker in various angles and estimate the pose well that the user of the application can interact with the object from digital world.

Abstract

Character recognition is one of the areas of the pattern recognition field that continues to be developed today. Character recognition is a process of recognizing a character independently or based on the similarity with the data that have been there before. Character recognition aimes to allow a system to recognize characters easily and effectively.One method of charater recognition is the Scale-Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT). SIFT is an algorithm that is designed to detect and explain the features of the image, while Mahalanobis Distance and Eulidean Distance is a method used to measure the similarity of an image by measuring the distance between test image and train image. The combined method is designed to achieve high recognition accuracy of a character recognition system.
