Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the life of Chinese people in Indonesia during the Soekarno government and analyze the government’s treatment of Chinese people in the Soekarno era. This study used a historical method approach with a limited history across the 1930s period, from 1941 to 1958, from 1959 to 1966. The method used is as follows: data collection in the form of literature studies relevant to the subject matter discussed, source criticism to find out the relevant elements through the incorporation of information obtained through the source, and compilation i.e., writing historical facts. Political and economic perceptions influenced Chinese ethnic communities in Indonesia during colonial, the old order, and the new times. Chinese society received many sanctions from the Soekarno government because of communist ideology, which was a threat to the government. The existence of ethnocentric during the old order so that Chinese people cannot be received well. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kehidupan masyarakat Tionghoa di Indonesia pada masa pemerintahan Soekarno dan menganalisis perlakuan pemerintah terhadap orang Tionghoa pada masa pemerintahan Soekarno. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode sejarah dengan sejarah terbatas pada periode tahun 1930-an, dari tahun 1941 hingga 1958, dari tahun 1959 hingga tahun 1966. Metode yang digunakan adalah sebagai berikut: pengumpulan data berupa studi pustaka yang relevan dengan materi pelajaran yang dibahas, kritik sumber untuk mengetahui unsur-unsur yang relevan melalui penggabungan informasi yang diperoleh melalui sumber, dan kompilasi yaitu, menulis fakta sejarah. Persepsi politik dan ekonomi mempengaruhi komunitas etnis Tionghoa di Indonesia pada masa penjajahan, Soekarno, dan Orde Baru. Masyarakat Tionghoa banyak mendapat sanksi dari pemerintah Soekarno karena ideologi komunis yang menjadi ancaman bagi pemerintah. Adanya etnosentris pada masa Soekarno sehingga masyarakat Tionghoa tidak bisa diterima dengan baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the benefits of digital information services as a search for S1 alumni of the Universitas Terbuka PPKn Study Program.The research method used is the Mixed Method (quantitative and qualitative). The survey method was carried out on graduates from the PPKn S1 study program who graduated from 1998-2013 through a questionnaire sent using a google form. While the qualitative method is carried out through interviews conducted by interviewers who have attended qualitative research training at UT. The instrument was developed by the UT Study Tracer Team by involving expert reviewers. Data was collected in two ways, namely filling out a questionnaire and interviewing. The questionnaires were filled out for the selected sample graduates, graduate supervisors, and graduate colleagues.The results showed that the existence of digital information services as a search for S1 alumni of the Open University Civics Study Program received a good response from users. The alumni find it easy to fill in and get the data needed by alumni. Graduates of the UT PPKn Undergraduate Program received a fairly good appreciation in competitiveness with other university graduates, while for further studies they felt satisfied with the PPKn S1 graduates. they are satisfied because the substance of the field of knowledge obtained in the Civics Undergraduate Study Program because it is in accordance with the needs of the work, there are only a few courses that are not very relevant to the teaching material in junior high school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the efforts of the Japanese Government in solving educational problems after the second world war. The research method used is library research. The results of the study found that one of the advances in education in Japan was then used as an instrument to solve the nation's problems, namely through the improvement and development of professional teachers. By building professional teachers, Japan is now one of the mecca of the advancement of education from the East. Education in Japan is known as education on a philosophical basis of developers other than Taiwan, while Western world education is based on inventors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif tentang evaluasi pelaksanaan Edukasi Kesiapan Belajar Mandiri pada mahasiswa pembelajar jarak jauh di UT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui:1. pelaksanaan EKBM di UPBJJ-UT, 2. faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan Edukasi Kesiapan Belajar Mandiri. 3. Kendala yang ditemui dalam pelaksanaan Edukasi Kesiapan Belajar Mandiri dan solusi yang harus dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, 4. Persepsi tentang dampak yang dirasakan oleh mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan Edukasi Kesiapan Belajar Mandiri. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Forum Group Discussion (FGD) dengan mahasiswa dan petugas UPBJJ-UT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan EKBM pada umumnya berjalan dengan lancar walaupun ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan EKBM yaitu dari sudut instruktur sendiri, motivasi yang rendah, kedisiplinan, waktu, lingkungan, kebiasaan dan usia. Akan tetapi semua itu bisa diatasi.Persepsi mahasiswa tentang dampak pelaksanaan EKBM sangat bagus. Pelatihan EKBM perlu untuk dipertahankan karena mahasiswa sangat terbantu dalam mempelajari modul, mereka menjadi tahu cara belajar yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran IPS di SD perlu dicarikan suatu solusi agar pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan dapat memberikan hasil optimal. Salah satu solusinya adalah dengan menerapkan suatu media pembelajaran yang dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang nyaman bagi siswa. Media pembelajaran sebagai wahana untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar, sebagai alat komunikasi guna mengefektifkan proses belajar mengajar, salah satu media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dalam pembelajaran adalah media pembelajaran bermain King Ludo. Metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu dengan pendekatan kolaboratif antara pengusul dengan mitra. Pendekatan ini perlu dilakukan agar pelaksanakan kegiatan berjalan sesuai dengan rencana dan tidak ada halangan yang bersifat teknis. Reid (2004) mengemukakan bahwa collaborative learning memiliki lima tahapan, yaitu: 1)  Engagement.  2) Exploration.  3) Transformation. 4) Presentation. 5) Reflection. Pembahasan King Ludo adalah model yang menggunakan  papan catur dimainkan oleh 4 orang siswa, semua siswa bermain games memainkan bidak-bidak dari start sampai finish. King ludo ini adalah suatu games yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPS SD. Media King Ludo terdiri dari papan catur, bidak, dadu, gelas, dan kotak soal. Hasil Penilaian Ketercapaian Program dari jumlah peserta 30 orang menyatakan bahwa 100% memiliki kebermanfaatan yang sangat signifikan dalam rangka untuk menambah pengetahuan para guru yang berada di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Sedang kepuasan mitra terhadap pelaksanaan PkM dosen ini menyatakan 97.2% menyatakan sangat puas hal ini ditandai dengan para peserta antusias mengikuti pelatihan ini sampai waktu yang ditentukan berakhir.Kata kunci: IPS, King Ludo

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pembelajaran IPS masih menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional yang tidak sesuai tujuan pembelajaran IPS yang berbasis interaksi sosial serta tidak dapat mengakomodasi keragaman gaya belajar peserta didik, sehingga antusiasme belajar IPS rendah yang berakibat pada rendahnya hasil belajar. Dokumentasi sekolah menunjukkan 43% hasil belajar IPS peserta didik belum mencapai KKM. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran TGT dan STAD terhadap hasil belajar IPS, pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS, dan interaksi model pembelajaran dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS. Metode: Menggunakan desain faktorial 2x3. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan stratified random sampling. Populasi penelitian adalah kelas IV SDIP Al Madinah Nogosari dan Cepogo. Prasyarat uji analisis dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji keseimbangan. Identifikasi gaya belajar melalui pengisian angket dengan skala Likert. Hasil: Menunjukkan; 1) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran TGT dan STAD terhadap hasil belajar IPS, rerata model TGT sebesar 82,52 lebih baik dibandingkan STAD dengan rerata 77,09; 2) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh peserta didik yang memiliki gaya belajar visual, auditorial, dan kinestetik terhadap hasil belajar IPS. Hasil belajar tertinggi secara berurut diraih peserta didik bergaya belajar auditori dengan rerata 81,75, kemudian visual dengan rerata 80,12, dan kinestetik dengan rerata 74,55; 3) Tidak terdapat interaksi model pembelajaran dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS. Kesimpulan: Model pembelajaran TGT dan STAD layak untuk diterapkan pada pelajaran IPS karena sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran IPS, dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS, dan dapat mengakomodasi keragaman gaya belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the ethical perceptions of the Javanese community in dealing with the eruption of Mount Semeru in Lumajang, East Java. This type of research is qualitative, using exploratory methods. Exploration was carried out with 30 informants who were divided into 4 groups, namely general public groups, indigenous peoples groups, santri community groups, and modern community groups, but in this study 3 groups were crucial to determine the research results. The results of this study show differences in the perceptions of the three groups, namely indigenous groups using a mythical approach, santri community groups using religious and scientific approaches, while modern community groups use a scientific approach. However, there are some modern people who still believe and believe in myths. The conclusion of this study is that the differences in the perceptions of the three groups represent the way of arguing with their beliefs and beliefs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of C3-based Social StudiesEducation (College, Carrier, Civic Life) and Life Skills to form character in junior highschool students during the pandemic.The research method used is qualitative. The research subjects were students and socialstudies teachers of SMP Negeri 1 in Purworejo Regency. Data collection techniques usedwere observation and online interviews to prevent transmission. Data collection wascarried out in December 2020. Test the validity of the data using the triangulationtechnique. In the data analysis technique used data analysis includes 1) data reduction; 2) Data Presentation; and 3) Drawing conclusions.The results of the social studies education model by referring to the C3 framework andincorporating elements of Life Skills are very useful for the lives of students, including 1)Students will have a broad meaning of life skills, 2) Students are able to deal proactivelyand reactively in order to find solutions to problems, 3) The C3 Social Studies frameworkcan be a guide for students' readiness to enter higher education, career preparation andcommunity life as well as critical thinking skills, problem solving abilities, andcollaborative skills needed during the current pandemic.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss a digital society based on public civility referring to a concept in which digital technology is used to strengthen national character and morality. In a digital society, technology has become an integral part of everyday life, and its use influences how we communicate, interact, and obtain information. However, the use of this technology has also raised ethical and moral issues. Therefore, the concept of a digital society based on public civility aims to promote moral and ethical values in the use of digital technology, so that technology can be used to strengthen national character and morality. Some of the principles underlying this concept are Openness. Digital society must be open and transparent in managing and using digital technology. Responsibility, every individual in the digital society must be responsible for their actions and the impact they have on others. Cooperation, collaboration, and cooperation between individuals and groups in digital society must be increased to achieve common goals. Education and awareness about the ethics and morality of using digital technologies must be increased throughout the digital society. The method used in analyzing this problem is a qualitative approach with the literature study method. Literature studies are carried out using various types of library sources, such as scientific journals, books, conference papers, research reports, as well as documents, and other publications. In conducting literature studies, researchers need to select relevant and high-quality sources and collect information in a systematic and structured manner. By strengthening the character and morality of the nation through the concept of a digital society based on public civility, it is hoped that digital society will be more aware of ethical values. and morality in the use of digital technology, and can use it positively and constructively to strengthen the nation's character and morality.

Abstract

In supporting difficult learning, innovative learning media are needed. One of the innovative learning media is augmented reality (AR). In this study, there is an AR design that is needed for the material of geographical phenomena. The method used is R D (Borg Gall, 2014). The results obtained in this study are AR designs for geographical phenomena (volcanoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis). It is hoped that the AR design for the material on geographical phenomena in this article can be useful in applying augmented reality material for geographical phenomena in social studies for lecturers who want to develop it as a learning medium for students.
