Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the evaluationof the South Minahasa District Office of Transportation Staff after participatingin an education and technical training program. There are still many obstaclesthat do not match the results of the evaluation. Utilization of facilities at the timeof the implementation of the education and training program both fromparticipants, namely the employees of the Transportation Department of SouthMinahasa Regency and from the organizers themselves have not been maximized.In this study, the authors used a qualitative approach with the type of descriptiveresearch. In this study primary data were obtained by interview and observationmethods while secondary data using literature and documentation researchmethods. The results of this study indicate that the education and trainingprogram has not fully met the target in presenting good changes in employees forthe progress of the South Minahasa District Transportation Office. This can beseen based on the results of the evaluation after following the education andtraining program based on the focus of education research and trainingregarding the four evaluation indicators as stated by Daniel Stufflebeam.Researchers provide advice on this research that is paying more attention to eachemployee placement along with the type of education and training programsparticipated by each employee in order to create professional and goodperformance in accordance with the demands of each field of staff of the SouthMinahasa District Transportation Department.Keywords: Evaluation, Education, Training Programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the supervision of the Sub-District Head in the administrationof village governance in the Mandolang District of Minahasa Regency. This study uses a descriptivequalitativeapproach. The research informants were the Mandolang Sub-District Head, MandolangDistrict Government Section Head, two Village Heads, two BPD chairmen, and two LPM chairmen; atotal of 10 informants. Data collection uses interview guidelines, while the analytical technique used is theanalysis of interactive models from Miles and Huberman. Based on the results of data analysis,conclusions were drawn: (1) Direct Sub-District Head oversight of village administration is carried outwell through observation, observation or direct examination of the village carried out by the Sub-DistrictHead alone or through the assignment of subordinates; (2) Sub-district Head indirect supervision iscarried out by requesting periodic written reports (every month, quarterly, and every six months)regarding village administration, and village government performance reports at the end of the fiscalyear. Indirect supervision also requests oral and explanatory reports to the village head at the sub-districtcoordination / evaluation of sub-district. Based on this research it is recommended: (1)The Sub-DistrictHead should go down to villages more often to monitor, observe or directly check the running of villageadministration. (2) The Sub-District Head should check / verify the truth of the written report by visitingthe village and having a dialogue with the BPD, LPM, and local village community leaders.Keywords: Supervision, Sub-District Head, Village Government.

Abstract

The population in the Talaud Islands, particularly in Beo nearly 90% are Christians.All people always respect one another. They always obey and follow the rules and / or norms, customsand respect among religions. This is reflected in the activities they do every day. Judging from thepeople who so respect the rules and customs applicable in everyday life, the inclusion of theglobalization of information and communication within a community of people who live in Beo,especially for the younger generation can cause a variety of problems, especially in the socio-culturalfield.Therefore the purpose of this study is to analyze the extent to which the impact ofglobalization of information on social and cultural life of the younger generation. This study took placein senior high school (SMA Negeri) 1 Beo Kepulauan Talaud. Design research is a quantitative studywith a sample of 60 respondents / students.The results showed that the opinions of students at SMAN 1 Beo Talaud information aboutthe impact of globalization, the average is still in the category of "medium" or moderate, which isequal to 58.33% of the 60 respondents / students, which is categorized as "low" assessment by 11respondents or 18:33% and categorized as "high" is only 23.34%. As for the social and cultural life,the average is also in the category of "moderate" that is equal to 50%, which is categorized as "low"and categorized as "high" the same judgment that each of 15 respondents, or 25%.Based on the research results, it can be stated that the globalization of information turns outto have a significant impact on social and cultural life of the younger generation.Keywords : Information Globalization, Cultur and Social, Young Generation

Abstract

ABSTRACT : Management is a process of organization achievement by efforts from peoples.Management is a kind of special thought from leadership in order to attain the organization goals.The financial management of village is a factor who determined the successful of development andhelp process of the village development. Village financial is a rights and responsible in governmentorganized who can be valued with money included all the type of wealth who related with rightsand responsible of the village.Whereas who including the local government budget (LGB) village is the annual financialplanning of village government are investigated and approved together with the village governmentand LGB who determined by regulation of the village.Effectiveness in village financial process through good financial management system that willincrease the successful in village development. The organized of government village includeGovernment organized, Government affairs, and empowerment of villages communities.Village development is whole activities of development that run on village, include whole aspect ofthe entire citizen life that who operate in harmony with mutual cooperation. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine how much influence the leadership style camat on the performanceof employees at the district office. The method used in this research is quantitative method withcorrelation and regression approach. As for the variables in this study are: Leadership Style andPerformance Officer. The sample is part of the population that is representative of the population will betaken. The sample in this study were all Malalayang District Office, the number of 30 people. Thetechniques used to obtain the data in this study were: questionnaires, interviews, observation anddocument study.Regression analysis can be predicted that the achievements of employees will increase or increasesignificantly if the leadership style of a district head further improved, it is certain to be a better employeeperformance or increase significantly. In a simple regression equation, regression coefficient direction (b)of 0.74 is positive which means that if the leadership style increased by one unit, it will be followed by anincrease in employee performance of 0.74 or 74%. Then the value of the constant coefficient (a) is equal to4.86 it means that if there is no change in terms of leadership style Camat then increase employeeperformance is just as big as 4.86 scale.In conclusion Leadership Style at the District Office Malalayang positive and significant impacton the performance of employees, although not entirely work performance of employees affected by theleadership. But an institution / organization, with a much-needed leadership and has a very importantrole on the performance of employees.Key words: Leadership style, Performance

Abstract

ABTRACK : This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Academic Portal at SamRatulangi University, especially the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. This research was conductedusing qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that: Use of Academic Portal Fispol Sam RatulangiUniversity in Manado was very helpful during the process of learning but not fully effective. Entry portalprovides benefits to the academic institutions, students, lecturers and managers to be able to present all theneeds, such as: Card Planing Study, Lecture Attendance List, Card Study Results, academic transcripts, aswell as matters relating to the management of Graduation and diploma and other data needs. Use ofAcademic Portal in Fispol Unsrat not been effective in terms of time and costs and yet provide satisfaction forall users; Factors Supporting Use of Academic Portal Fispol Sam Ratulangi University in Manado are allelements of the campus, namely: leadership, staff and students as well as quality assurance. In addition, thecentral and provincial government support and human resources employees very major contribution inacademic portal usage; The obstacles encountered in the use of Academic Portal Fispol Sam RatulangiUniversity in Manado is internal constraints and external constraints. Internal constraints are constraintsthat come from the users in this case are the students and lecturers as well as the manager himself who oftenlack discipline in terms of time to access the portal, causing entered data can not be registered because itdelays access and input data online. External constraints are the constraints that come from outside which inthis case is a disorder of the Internet network; and efforts are being made to overcome the obstaclesencountered in the use of the portal academic Fispol Sam Ratulangi University in Manado not all beimplemented must be through socialization and introduction to the faculty and students back, also in theform of an announcement on the bulletin boards of faculty regarding the charging time and the deadline forfilling the portal academic , but it also attempted dissemination through seminars to introduce more featuresand for the smooth process of the lecture. Besides maximizing the existing infrastructure to support theoperation of the academic portal usage such as efforts to overcome problems with the procurement networkof free internet network in a campus environment and other measures which have not been done.Keywords: Effectiveness, Academic Portal

Abstract

he objective of the study was to explain the role of village fund supporters in the management ofvillage budget funds in Saluta Village, North Galela District, North Halmahera District. This study useddescriptive qualitative method. The role of village fund supporters in managing the village funding budgetis seen from three indiktaors namely planning, implementation, and monitoring. The research informantsare Village Head, Village Secretary, Village Treasurer, Head of Sub-District Coordinator Coordinator,Village Local Assistant Officer. Date collection using interview guides, observation study documentationwhile the analysis technique is done through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation.Based on the results of data analysis, it is concluded that the role of village funding supporters in managingthe village budget funds in Saluta Village, Gaelautara District, North Halmahera Regency, is seen from theindicators of planning, implementation and monitoring has not been maximally implemented.Based on the result of the research, it is found that the role of the village fund counselor in managingthe village budget is not maximized so that it can be recommended suggestion: The companion mustunderstand the mechanism of the companion officer in seeing the priority of community needs. Villagecounseling officers should be people who have good skills in the aspects of knowledge / education (technicalskills specialist), experience, mental attitude, and have a commitment and high integrity in carrying outduties and functions as a companion; Village facilitators should further optimize their functions throughmonitoring the allocation of village funds in the development of village infrastructure Saluta done regularlyand periodically.Keywords: Roles, Assistance, Management, Village Funds.

Abstract

Transportation is a very important field in the life of Indonesian society, considering the needs ofthe Indonesian community will be very high. Today the field of transportation in Indonesia is beingintensified with the emergence of transport-based applications or commonly referred to as online transport.Online transport is a transportation that utilizes the application as a media order to facilitate consumers interms of fulfilment of transportation needs. In 2011, standing online transportation company that until nowmuch talked about, that is Gojek. PT Gojek Indonesia is a private company based technology serviceprovider partnered with motorcycle riders in several cities in Indonesia, including Jakarta, Bogor, Bekasi,Bandung, Bali, Surabaya, and Manado. Management systems and operational mockery is to integratemodern start-up technology. Every driver using Android and GPS handphone with always-activeapplication, when customers order services through a gojek application, in a 3 km radius position, the callwill vibrate the connected driver phone until at last the reservation is fulfilled. Today, the ease offered byPT. Gojek Indonesia in meeting transportation needs has had a significant impact in some areas ofIndonesia. Some of the positive effects that gojek is given to the community is the cost of transportation thattends to be efficient, travel time is easy and participal, security is maintained when a passenger and get apolite service. Abstract

Abstract: A good development process makes people actively participate. One of the programs set by the ManadoCity Government which gives space to the community to directly actively participate in the implementation ofdevelopment is the cleanliness of the environment. This research was conducted to explain the communityparticipation in maintaining cleanliness in the sub-district of Bahu Kecamatan Malalayang Kota Manado. Byusing qualitative research designs it was found that community participation in maintaining environmentalhygiene in urban village Bahu subdistrict Malalayang of Manado City through the acceptance of environmentalhygiene program has not been all done by society such as in obeying garbage garbage, providing garbage athome, participation in hygiene utilization the environment is carried out by utilizing garbage transporters andclean Friday activities, participation in the maintenance of environmental hygiene indicates that not allcommunities maintain good hygieneKeywords: Community Participation, Cleanliness, Environment.
