Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan media pop up book digital terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif ini dilatar belakangi oleh minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang inovatif sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pop up book digital terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa sekolah dasar pada pembelajaran IPAS, serta mengetahui validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas media pop up book digital terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (Reseach and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif deskiptif. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi ahli materi dengan nilai rata-rata 91,6%  dan ahli media mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 90% dengan kategori sangat valid. Sementara itu, hasil uji kepraktisan dari respon siswa dan respon guru mendapat rata-rata 85% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Kemudian, hasil analisis data statistik dengan menggunakan uji paired sampel t-test menghasilkan nilai t-hitung sebesar 50,975 lebih besar dari t-tabel yaitu 2,058. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pop up book digital dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa.  Penelitian ini tidak hanya berkontribusi untuk IPAS di sekolah dasar, tetapi juga berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan literatur pendidikan digital, khususnya dalam penerapan media interaktif berbasis visual untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi kendala dalam menyampaikan konsep abstrak, khususnya materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Siswa kesulitan memahami organ, fungsi, dan proses pencernaan karena pembelajaran masih dominan menggunakan buku teks dan penjelasan verbal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media video edukasi tiga dimensi berbasis Biodigital Human pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia kelas V serta menguji kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Maja Selatan 1. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi ahli, angket respons siswa, angket respon guru, dan tes pemahaman konsep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media memperoleh skor kelayakan 100% dari ahli materi, 93% dari ahli media, dan 88% dari ahli bahasa. Respon siswa sangat positif, menilai tampilan media menarik, jelas, dan tidak membosankan. Respon guru juga tinggi dengan skor 92%. Tes pemahaman konsep menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, dengan rata-rata nilai posttest 87,98 lebih tinggi dari pretest 78,90. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa media video edukasi tiga dimensi layak, praktis, dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPAS.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in improving tolerance in elementary school students. The study used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with PRISMA guidelines as a reference in the process of searching, filtering, and analyzing articles. Data sources were obtained from various national scientific databases with articles published in 2020–2026. The selection results showed that there were 15 articles that met the inclusion criteria and were used in this study. Based on the analysis results, the implementation of PBL has been proven to improve students' tolerance through discussion activities, group work, and collaborative problem solving. In addition to increasing tolerance, this model also supports the development of communication skills, collaboration, social interaction, empathy, and an attitude of respect for diversity. The majority of articles analyzed used experimental methods and Classroom Action Research (CAR), and were applied to Pancasila Education and Mathematics subjects. Although the implementation of PBL requires more time and teacher skills in managing learning, this model is considered effective in creating active learning and supporting the strengthening of elementary school students' character.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Quantum Teaching learning model assisted by Board Game media on the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students in the Social Studies content of IPAS learning. The study was motivated by the low level of students’ critical thinking skills at SDN Cijati 1 Majalengka, which is attributed to the predominance of rote-based instruction and the limited use of engaging learning media. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The population consisted of all fourth-grade students at SDN Cijati 1, while the sample was selected through purposive sampling, resulting in 23 students in the experimental class Quantum Teaching assisted by Board Game and 23 students in the control class Direct Instruction. Data were collected using a ten-item essay test developed based on Facione critical thinking indicators, which had been tested for validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discrimination index. Data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics version 31, including descriptive analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, paired sample t-test, independent sample t-test, and effect size analysis using Cohen’s d. The results showed that the mean Posttest score of the experimental class (84.587) was higher than that of the control class (80.326). The independent sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.039 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between the two groups. Furthermore, the effect size analysis produced a Cohen’s d value of 0.627, which falls into the medium category. These findings indicate that the implementation of the Quantum Teaching model assisted by Board Game media has a significant effect on improving students’ critical thinking skills in elementary IPAS learning.

Abstract

Character education is one of the essential aspects of the Indonesian education system in shaping students who excel not only academically but also socially and morally. One of the fundamental character values that should be developed from the elementary school level is tolerance. However, various educational issues indicate that discriminatory behavior, lack of respect for diversity, and low levels of cooperation among students from different backgrounds still occur. One learning strategy that can strengthen tolerance character is the cooperative learning model of Think Pair Share (TPS). This article aims to analyze the effectiveness of the TPS learning model as a strategy for strengthening tolerance character education in elementary schools through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The findings reveal that the implementation of TPS enhances social interaction, communication skills, collaboration, empathy, and mutual respect among students. The stages of think, pair, and share provide opportunities for learners to express opinions, appreciate others' perspectives, and build democratic understanding. Furthermore, integrating multicultural approaches into TPS implementation reinforces the internalization of tolerance values in elementary education. Therefore, TPS can be considered an effective strategy for strengthening tolerance character education in elementary schools.
