Abstract

Toddlerhood represents a critical period that determines children's growth and developmental outcomes. Early detection of growth and developmental disorders through the Early Stimulation, Detection, and Intervention for Child Growth and Development (SDIDTK) program is an essential strategy for preventing stunting and developmental delays. However, the capacity of parents and Posyandu (Integrated Health Service Post) cadres to perform standardized screening remains suboptimal. This community service program aimed to optimize the roles of parents and Posyandu cadres through standardized SDIDTK-based training on toddler growth and development screening. The program employed a participatory health education and training approach consisting of lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, interactive discussions, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test assessments. The activity was conducted on July 14, 2026, at a Posyandu within the service area of a Community Health Center in South Jakarta and involved 17 participants, including eight Posyandu cadres and nine parents of toddlers. The evaluation demonstrated an increase in the mean knowledge score from 55.3 before the training to 83.5 after the training, representing an improvement of 28.2 points. Overall, 94.1% of participants achieved higher post-test scores. These findings indicate that standardized SDIDTK-based training effectively improved participants' knowledge and practical skills in conducting toddler growth and development screening. This program is expected to strengthen the implementation of SDIDTK at Posyandu, improve family health literacy, facilitate early identification of growth and developmental problems, and support sustainable community-based stunting prevention efforts.

Abstract

The increasing number of motor vehicles and the growth of commercial and service activities have increased the demand for parking services. The use of parking services creates a legal relationship between consumers and parking service providers, giving rise to rights and obligations for both parties. However, problems remain, including damage to consumers’ vehicles due to alleged negligence and the refusal of parking providers to accept liability based on liability transfer clauses on parking tickets. This study aims to analyze the legal relationship between consumers and parking service providers and examine the implementation of civil liability for vehicle damage based on the Civil Code and Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection. The study employed an empirical-juridical method through statutory and empirical approaches, with data collected through interviews and direct observation in the Tuparev Street area, Karawang Regency. Data were analyzed qualitatively by comparing applicable legal provisions with actual parking service practices. The findings show that the legal relationship arises when the vehicle is handed over for parking, requiring providers to deliver services and ensure vehicle safety. Under Articles 1365 and 1366 of the Civil Code, providers may be held liable for damage caused by fault or negligence. However, implementation remains inconsistent, as some providers refuse compensation. Therefore, stronger legal awareness and consistent liability enforcement are needed to ensure effective consumer protection.
