Abstract

Background: : The behavior of hygiene during menstruation period is crucial to be conducted by women as it aims to maintain self-cleanliness and self-health both physically and mentally. Women having low personal hygiene behavior consider that cleanliness is trivial. Objective: It aims to find out the influence of health education through video toward the adolescent’s knowledge level on personal hygiene during menstruation period. Methods: This research applied pre-experimental research method with one group pretest-posttest design. There were 125 female students already having menstruation selected as the respondents, the sample collection technique used stratified random sampling. The data analysis used Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: The adolescent’s knowledge level of female students on personal hygiene during menstruation period before given health education was categorized in low category. Meanwhile, the adolescent’s knowledge level of female students on personal hygiene after given health education was categorized in good category. Hence, there is an influence of health education on the adolescent’s knowledge level on personal hygiene during menstruation period in SMP N 1 Gamping. Conclusion: There is an influence of health education toward the adolescent’s knowledge level on personal hygiene during menstruation period in SMP N 1 Gamping.

Abstract

Introduction: The correlation between child’s nutritional status and mother’s working status  in Indonesia is still unclear. Some research report a high prevalence of low-nourished children whose mother is working, while others report a non significant correlation between child’s nutritional status and mother’s working status.Methods: This study was case-control study, sample of low-nourished  children (treatment group) & well-nourished children (control) are taken from 21 Posyandu in Taman, Sidoarjo in 2015. All data were analyzed using Chi Square test.Results: There are 72 samples which are suitable with the inclusion criteria, consisted of 36 low-nourished children and 36 well-nourished children. From 72 samples, 28 children have a working mother and 44 children have a non working mother. There were no correlation between Mother’s working status (p=0,486), Number of children in the family (p=0,468), History of chronic disease (p=0,054) with child’s nutritional status. Level of family income, Mother’s education level, History of exclusive breastfeeding, Energy consumption level, Protein consumption level were correlated with child’s nutritional status with value (p=0,000), (p=0,002), (p=0,002), (p=0,000), (p=0,001) respectively.Conclusion: Mother’s working status is proved that is not correlated  with child’s nutritional status. But, level of family income, mother’s education level, energy & protein consumption level, and history of exclusive breastfeeding are significantly correlated with child’s nutritional status.

Analysis tool used ClusterAnalysis. Its using two assumptions as the benchmark of a good cluster that is to have an internalhomogeneity (within clusters); the similarities between member in one cluster and external heterogeneity(the between clusters), i.e. the difference between a single cluster with the other clusters. Analysislifestyle Blackberry cell phone users conducted on students at Muhammadiyah University ofMalang used questionnaires. The results shows three lifestyle groups, namely fulfilled, believer andmaker groups. Abstract

It has been widely studied how investors will allocate their assets to an investment when the return of assets is normally distributed. In this context usually, the problem of portfolio optimization is analyzed using mean-variance. When asset returns are not normally distributed, the mean-variance analysis may not be appropriate for selecting the optimum portfolio. This paper will examine the consequences of abnormalities in the process of allocating investment portfolio assets. Here will be shown how to adjust the mean-variance standard as a basic framework for asset allocation in cases where asset returns are not normally distributed. We will also discuss the application of the optimum strategies for this problem. Based on the results of literature studies, it can be concluded that the expected utility approximation involves averages, variances, skewness, and kurtosis, and can be extended to even higher moments.

Abstract

Flooding in Citarum always happens in Bandung District which causes loss of property, household damage, diseases moreover decease. The government provides aid for flood victims, but the help is not cover losses. In this circumstance, people need insurance. This study aims to set up flood insurance based on economic conditions, areas, and losses due to flooding. To find out the conditions, interviewed the village chief of Baleendah. The analytical methods used are linear regression analysis and analysis method mix. Linear regression analysis was used to estimate flood losses that will serve as the sum insured in the form of insurance products. Analysis mixture consisting of identification areas, conditions, and alternative insurance models used to establish the right flood insurance for Baleendah. Results show the estimation of flood losses and flood insurance appropriate to the condition of Baleendah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how students' interest in learning in online learning uses powerpoint and google meet media, supporting and inhibiting factors in online learning using powerpoint and google meet media in class III SD Negeri Raci 02 Batangan District, Pati Regency. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis technique. Analysis of research data obtained from the process of searching and compiling systematically, data obtained from observations and interviews, namely data collection, data processing, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that interest in learning in the pandemic era with online learning using powerpoint and googlemeet media in class III experienced a good increase. The use of interesting new media fosters a new enthusiasm for students in participating in online learning. Inhibiting factors are time efficiency and effectiveness, lack of parental assistance. Supporting factors are, schools facilitate teachers in schools, and students are given free internet quota

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in finding vocabulary and vocabulary meanings related to social life. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in three cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were students of class II SD Negeri Sukareja 02 in the 2020/2021 school year, totaling 14 students. Data collection techniques using tests. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research shows that the application of Kahoot media can improve student learning outcomes in the material of finding vocabulary and meaning related to social life in class II SD Negeri Sukareja 02 in the academic year 2020/2021 as evidenced by the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes in cycle I of 71%, cycle II of 86 %, and becomes 93% in cycle III.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation berbantuan Geogebra dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa sebelum dan sesudah diperlakukan pembelajaran, (2) menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation berbantuan Geogebra dalam mendukung keterampilan collaboration, problem solving, dan communication. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, alat dan analisis statistik yang sesuai, sehingga temuan yang diperoleh tidak berbeda dengan keadaan yang sebenarnya. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA YPPI Belitang. Sampel penelitian dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling, yaitu kelas X IPA. Instumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes pengetahuan Kompetensi Dasar siswa, tes keterampilan problem solving dan communication, dan angket keterampilan collaboration. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian yaitu menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pembelajaran matematika berbantuan Geogebra dengan model kooperatif tipe group investigation dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mempelajari Sistem Pertidaksamaan Dua Variabel. (2) Pembelajaran matematika berbantuan Geogebra dengan model kooperatif tipe group investigation dapat mendukung kemampuan komunikasi, kolaborasi, dan pemecahan masalah siswa. Selain itu, model kooperatif yang didukung Geogebra dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan siswa abad ke-21. Pembelajaran matematika harus diatur untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi, pemecahan masalah, dan komunikasi siswa. Keterampilan tersebut sangat mempengaruhi kemampuan siswa dalam menghadapi masalah yang lebih kompleks. This study aims to: (1) analyze the effect of Geogebra-assisted group investigation cooperative learning in improving student competence before and after learning treatment, (2) analyze the effect of Geogebra-assisted group investigation cooperative learning in supporting collaboration, problem solving, and communication skills. This study uses a quantitative approach, appropriate statistical tools and analysis, so that the findings obtained do not differ from the actual situation. The population of this study were all students of class X SMA YPPI Belitang. The research sample was selected by purposive sampling method, namely class X IPA. The research instruments used were students' Basic Competency knowledge tests, problem solving and communication skills tests, and collaboration skills questionnaires. Testing the research hypothesis is using the Paired Sample T-Test. The results of the study show that: (1) Geogebra-assisted mathematics learning with a cooperative model of group investigation type can improve students' abilities in studying the Two Variable Inequality System. (2) Geogebra-assisted mathematics learning with a group investigation type cooperative model can support students' communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills. In addition, the cooperative model supported by Geogebra can be used by teachers in improving the abilities and skills of 21st century students. Mathematics learning should be organized to improve students' collaboration, problem solving, and communication skills. These skills greatly affect students' ability to deal with more complex problems.

Abstract

Masalah reproduksi pada remaja masih membutuhkan perhatian yang besar. Ketika remaja putri mengalami menstruasi berarti remaja tersebut memasuki fase pubertas. Dimana ketika mengalami menstruasi ada kondisi tertentu yang menyebabkan masalah selama siklus menstruasi tersebut. Masalah tersebut seringkali terjadi sebelum menstruasi, dimana gejalanya payudara membengkak, puting susu nyeri, mudah tersinggung, kram perut, letih, sakit kepala, perut kembung, sembelit, dan timbul jerawat. Kondisi ini disebut premenstrual syndrome/PMS. PMS adalah kumpulan berbagai gejala fisik, psikologis, dan emosional yang berhubungan dengan adanya perubahan hormonal karena siklus menstruasi. PMS terjadi 70-90% pada wanita usia subur/WUS. Seringkali remaja tidak paham tentang apa yang terjadi selama siklus menstruasi tersebut. Sehingga perlu dilakukan pemberian informasi. dimana pemenuhan informasi yang tepat tentang permasalahan reproduksi belum sepenuhnya mereka dapatkan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari masih rendahnya pengetahuan remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi yaitu tentang masa subur. Pengabdian kesehatan yang akan kami lakukan adalah pemberian informasi tentang pengenalan dan pencegahan Pre Menstrual Syndrome pada remaja putri di SMA Negeri 1 Godean Yogyakarta. Media yang digunakan adalah poster dan penjelasan lewat media pembelajaran online (zoom). Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah adanya peningkatan skor dari 75,6 menjadi 85,5.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul elektronik IPA Terapan berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning materi penanganan limbah untuk siswa SMK Pariwisata. Pengembangan modul elektronik IPA berbasis CTL merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R & D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D yang dikemukakan oleh Thiagarajan yang terdiri dari empat tahap pengembangan yaitu Define (pendefinisian), Design (perencanaan), Develop (pengembangan), dan Disseminate (penyebaran). Pengembangan modul elektronik IPA berbasis CTL memperoleh data dari angket uji kelayakan media. Hasil kajian pendahuluan menyatakan bahwa E-module pembelajaran cukup layak dijadikan sebagai modul belajar. This study aims to develop an applied-science electronic module based on Contextual Teaching and Learning in waste handling for Tourism Vocational School. This study is research and development (R & D) with procedural model that adapts the research and development procedure according to 4-D by Thiagarajan which consists of four step of development, there are namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This study obtained data from validity questionnaire of media. The results of the preliminary indicate that this module has been develop can be used as a learning module.
