Abstract

ABSTRACTPhytogenic feed additives are plant-derived product such as herbs, spices, and essential oils used in animal feed to improve their performances and health. Garlic (Allium sativum) is well-known as a spice and herbal medicine. Garlic possesses antimicrobial activity and increase nutrient digestibility in animal. The objectives of this study were to compare the effect of supplementing garlic, exogenous enzyme and combination of both on Black-capped Lory (Lorius lory) in digestibility and bacterial count on excreta. Five Black-capped Lory were used in the study and fed with control diet (K1), control diet supplemented with garlic powder (K2), control diet supplemented with Allzyme SSF (K3), and control diet supplemented with both garlic powder and Allzyme SSF (K4). Variables observed include feed consumption, Apparent Metabolizable Energy (AME) value and bacterial count in excreta. Adding enzyme to the diet increased AME compared to control. AME value of K1 was 3,579 kcal/kg, meanwhile AME value of diet K3 and K4 were 3,690 kcal/kg and 3,619 kcal/kg respectively. Adding garlic to the diet did not give significant improvement to AME value. The highest inhibition of bacterial population was in K2 mash. Combination of allzyme and garlic addition showed decreased in bacterial number.Keywords: Allzyme SSF, AME value, bacterial population, black-capped Lory, garlic

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suplementasi tepung kulit manggis (Garcinia mangostana L.) sebagai aditif pakan terhadap produksi karkas dan perlemakan ayam broiler. Sebanyak 72 ekor ayam broiler jantan strain Lohmann ditempatkan secara acak pada 12 buah kandang kelompok dengan perlakuan penambahan tepung kulit manggis 0; 0,5; 1,0; 1,5%. Masing-masing perlakuan terdiri dari 3 ulangan. Ayam broiler dipelihara selama 35 hari. Data dianalisis statistik dengan analisis variansi Rancangan Acak Lengkap Pola Searah. Setiap data dengan perbedaan yang nyata antar perlakuan diuji lanjut menggunakan Duncan’s new Multiple Range Test. Parameter yang diamati adalah produksi karkas dan perlemakan ayam broiler. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan 1,5% tepung kulit manggis dalam ransum menaikkan (P<0,05) persentase lemak abdominal dan kadar lemak daging ayam broiler umur 35 hari. Penambahan tepung kulit manggis tidak mempengaruhi produksi karkas dan kadar lemak subkutan. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa suplementasi sampai 1,5% tepung kulit manggis dalam ransum tidak mempengaruhi produksi karkas maupun kandungan lemak subkutan ayam broiler.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate Teachers’ methods and find out the most common use method in teaching TOEFL in International Class Program (ICP) of IAIN Salatiga. Abstract

The life that a prisoner lives while in prison causes prisoners to face various psychological problems, including loss of family, loss of self- control, and loss of support. The aim of this research: First, to describe the psychological well-being of female prisoners at Prison II A Jember. Second, to describe the impact of psychological well-being on the activities of female prisoners at Prison II A Jember. This research is qualitative research with a field study approach. The technique for determining research subjects uses purposive techniques, while the data collection technique uses observation, interviews and documentation. The data validity test used is source triangulation and technical triangulation. The conclusions from this research are as follows: The description of the psychological well-being of female prisoners at Prison II A Jember shows that there are still obstacles that hinder the fulfillment of optimal psychological well-being. Factors supporting the psychological well-being of female prisoners are social support, positive interactions and spirituality. Meanwhile, factors inhibiting psychological well-being are personality, cultural differences,, and infrastructure.

Abstract

Media sosial telah menjadi alat yang penting dalam pemasaran modern, memberikan peluang besar bagi bisnis untuk menjangkau pelanggan melalui platform seperti Instagram. Daira bakery mempunyai kenala dalam memasarkanya seperti persaingan bisnis yang semakin ketat di media sosial dan memiliki kendala dalam kegiatan promosi di offline store. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1. Faktor internal dan eksternal apa saja dalam pemanfaatan pemasaran roti unyil melalui media sosial di Daira Bakery 2. Bagaimana strategi pemasaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan studi kasus, Daira Bakery dipilih sebagai lokasi penelitian dengan menggunakan purposive sampling data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan pemilik dan karyawan Daira Bakery. Analisis SWOT digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman dalam pemasaran roti unyil melalui media sosial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan pada faktor kekuatan internal  Roti Unyil Daira Bakery Kekuatan yaitu harga dapat bersaing dengan pesaing lain dan kelemahan yaitu respon terhadap pelanggan di media sosial lambat. Faktor eksternal pada Roti Unyil Daira Bakery peluang yaitu dapat menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas, sedangkan ancaman pesaing di media sosial semakin ketat. Dan hasil strategi pemasaran yang baik bagi  Roti Unyil Daira Bakery Strength Opportunity strategi yang menggunakan kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Daira Bakery berhasil memanfaatkan media sosial, terutama Instagram, untuk mempromosikan produk mereka. Strategi yang efektif meliputi inovasi produk, mengikuti tren media sosial, dan respons cepat terhadap konsumen.Kata Kunci : Analisis SWOT, Instagram, Media Sosial, Pemasaran, Roti Unyil

Abstract

Toxoplasmosis is caused by the protozoa Toxoplasma gondii. It often occurs in newborns, who are infected in the womb. Toxoplasmosis in pregnant women will experience abortion, intrauterine fetal death, if the baby survives due to active infection can occur by serious central nervous system defects and can cause mental retardation. Toxoplasmosis in pregnancy causes transmission of toxoplasma gondii through the uteroplacental circulation to the fetus. Laboratory tests performed are anti-toxoplasma IgG and IgM, and anti-Toxoplasma IgG avidity. These tests need to be performed on mothers suspected of being infected with Toxoplasma gondii before or during pregnancy, as well as on newborns from mothers infected with toxoplasma gondii. Spiramycin is given to women suspected of having acute toxoplasma infection in the first trimester or early second trimester, and will be given until delivery. For pregnant women who are likely to have a high infection or have had an infection in the fetus, treatment with spiramycin should be assisted after 18 weeks of pregnancy with pyrimethamine, sulfadiazine, and folic acid. Therefore, pregnant women should be prevented from toxoplasma infection or given treatment as early as possible.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan limbah minyak goreng bekas merupakan solusi inovatif untuk mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan sekaligus memberikan nilai ekonomis baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk lilin aromatic berbahan dasar limbah minyak goreng bekas sebagai bentuk inovasi kewirausahaan di Desa Geblog, Kaloran, Temanggung. Metode yang digunakan yakni metode studi lapangan yang dilengkapi dengan eksperimen yang meliputi proses pengolahan melalui filtrasi dan pencampuran bahan tambahan, hingga pengujian kualitas produk lilin aromatic. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa lilin yang dihasilkan memiliki daya bakar yang stabil, aroma yang tahan lama, dan potensi pasar yang menjanjikan, terutama di sektor ekonomi dan lingkungan. Program ini tidak hanya memberikan dampak positif secara ekonomi bagi masyarakat Desa Geblog, tetapi juga meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya pengelolaan limbah. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi referensi untuk inisiatif serupa di daerah lain sebagai langkah mendukung ekonomi sirkular dan keberlanjutan lingkungan.
