Abstract

This research aims to analyse the influence of Loan To Deposit Ratio, Operational Efficiency Ratio and Non Performing Loan to Return On Asset at national private Bank of foreign exchange listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014-2018. The population of this research is the national private Bank of foreign exchange listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014-2018, a research sample of 23 bank companies using the purposive sampling method. The analysis used to determine the influence of Loan To Deposit Ratio (LDR), Operational Efficiency Ratio (OER) and Non Performing Loan (NPL) to Return On Asset (ROA) is a descriptive and quantitative analysis with using the help of software Eviews 10. The results indicate that simultaneously LDR, OER, and NPL variables have significant effect on ROA. The LDR has a significant and positive impact on ROA, OER and NPL have significantly negative and significant impact on ROA

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the comparison of bankruptcy predictions at PT Argo Pantes Tbk & PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk for the 2015-2019 period, with the comparison indicator being total assets. The method used in this study is descriptive research with a quantitative approach and the data used are secondary data obtained from the financial statements published by PT Argo Pantes Tbk for the 2015-2019 period & the financial statements of PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk for the 2015-2019 period. The analytical technique used in this study is the Modified Altman Z-Score method that uses four ratio variables, namely Working Capital to Total Assets (X1), Retained Earnings to Total Assets (X2), EBIT to Total Assets (X3), and Book Value of Equity. to Book Value of Debt (X4). The results showed that during the 2015-2019 period (5 years) companies with small asset values (PT Argo Pantes Tbk) tended to have the potential to experience bankruptcy or were in distress compared to companies with large asset values (PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk). This condition is caused by the low financial ratios owned by PT Argo Pantes Tbk and the need for follow-up to deal with the problem so that the company avoids the risk of bankruptcy. Abstract

The existence of Indonesia's economic growth and the growth of the aviation sector which experienced a contraction in 2020, had an impact on the worsening of financial conditions in the aviation sector. This study aims to determine the prediction of financial distress and the potential for bankruptcy in airline companies. The data collection method used is the documentation method with data analysis techniques using the Altman Z-Score, Springate S-Score, and Mann Whitney Test methods. The results show that PT Garuda Indonesia and Indonesia Air are predicted to experience financial difficulties and the possibility of bankruptcy, while PT Cardig Airlines is not predicted to experience financial difficulties and is unlikely to go bankrupt. Based on the average score, the potential for bankruptcy shows mostly the same results. The difference is only shown in Indonesia Air in 2014 and PT Cardig Airlines in 2019. Based on statistical tests, a significance value of 0.505 was obtained which was more than 0.05 which was rejected and there was no significant difference between the results of the Altman Z-Score and Springate S-Score calculations in predict bankruptcy of airlines. Abstract

Recently, the community has been shocked by a pandemic, namely the Corona Virus (Covid-19) which has an impact on all directions, one of which is the economic sector. The occurrence of global economic uncertainty triggers the Indonesian people to make efforts to maintain their economy. One of them is by investing, especially investing in stocks, especially now that millennials can reach the price of listed share on the IDX. Therefore, the ains of this papper to see the results of the comparison of the intrinsic value of the fair share price with its market price in the pulp & paper sub-sector listed on the IDX in 2016 - 2020 so that it will decide the investment resolve that will be taken by investors whether they are in poor condition. undervalued or overvalued by using the Dividend Discounted Models (DDM) method. The outcome of the analysis in this study obtained that all companies have shares in an overvalued position where the market price is less than the intrinsic value / fair price.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio, Loan to Deposit Ratio, Non Performing Loan and BI-7 Day Repo Rate on profitability (ROA) at BUMN Bank period 2012-2019. Population and samples in this research are Bank BUMN period 2012-2019 as many as 4 banks (BNI, BRI, BTN and Mandiri Bank). Saturation sampling is the sampling technique used. The BUMN Bank annual report is the secondary data used. Associative and quantitative research methods are the research methods used. The test is done by panel data regression method which is processed using Eviews 9. The selected panel data regression method is the Fixed Effect Model. The results showed that partially CAR had significant effect on profitability. Partially LDR had not significant effect on profitability. Partially NPL had significant effect on profitability. Partially BI7DRR had not significant effect on profitability. Simultaneously, CAR, LDR, NPL and BI7DRR had a significant effect on profitability (ROA) at Bank BUMN.

Abstract

The aim of this research are to know the effect of Degree of Operating Leverage (DOL) and Degree of Financial Leverage (DFL) on Return on Equity (ROE) at Food and Beverage Companies Listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) Period 2015-2019. This study uses secondary data in the form of complete annual financial statements for the 2015-2019 period, sourced from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research sample was 10 companies using purposive sampling technique or sampling with several considerations. The types of data used in this study are time series and cross sections. The research method used is associative research with a quantitative approach. The analysis used to determine the effect of DOL and DFL on ROE is multiple linear regression analysis with Random Effect Model approach using Eviews 9 software. DOL, and DFL simultaneously have a significant effect on ROE. DOL, and DFL partially have a negative and significant effect on ROE.

Abstract

This research proposes to analyze the effect of capital structure on company performance in companies listed in JII for the 2014-2018 period. The company performance is based on the company's accounting performance as measured by ROE and the company's market performance as measured by PBV. Capital structure in this study is measured DAR, DER, and MLEV. The data used is secondary data in the form of companies’ summary report from the Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD). The sample selection used adpurposive samplingnmethod with predetermined criteria. The samples obtained were 16 companies. Data analysis used panel data regression analysis using Eviews 10 software. The results are DER has a positive and significant effect on ROE and PBV, DAR has not a positive and insignificant effect on ROE and PBV. Meanwhile, MLEV has a negative and significant effect on ROE and PBV.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of public interest on P2P lending investment through sharia fintech. The independent variables used are product, agreement, yield, and levels of return success which will be analyzed for their effect on the dependent variable, namely public interest on Islamic P2P lending investment. This research used a path analysis method. The data used in this research are primary data obtained directly through the results of questionnaires distributed to respondents followers of the official ALAMI Sharia Instagram social media account. The results showed that the Product variable has a direct and significant effect on the Interest in Investing in Sharia P2P Lending. Sharia Agreement variable has a direct but insignificant effect on the Interest in Investing in Sharia P2P Lending. Percentage of Yield variable has a direct but insignificant effect on the Interest in Investing in Sharia P2P Lending. Levels of Return Success variable has a direct and significant effect on the Interest in Investing in Sharia P2P Lending.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the performance of Islamic stock mutual funds and conventional stock mutual funds with different operating systems so that can be recommended for investors in choosing the type of mutual fund. This study also aims to determine the effect of macroeconomic factors on the performance of these equity funds. The sample used in this study were 5 investment manager companies that issued Islamic stock mutual fund products and conventional stock mutual funds in the 2010-2019 period and were selected through purposive sampling technique. This type of research is quantitative research. The data used is secondary data obtained from OJK published reports. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant difference between the performance of conventional equity mutual funds and Islamic stock mutual funds. In addition, three independent variables in the study, namely inflation rate, exchange rate, and interest rate have a significant effect on the performance of Islamic equity mutual funds. For conventional equity mutual funds, the results show that the inflation rate and interest rate variables have a significant effect, while the exchange rate variable has a negative but not statistically significant effect on the performance of conventional equity mutual funds.

Abstract

Purpose– This study aims to examine the effect of corporate governance on audit report lag. Corporate governance is proxied by the variable board of directors size, independent board of commissioners, female board of directors, external auditor reputation (Big 4), and audit committee size. The sample of this research is manufacturing companies that are listed consecutively on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2014 to 2020. Design/Methodology– The results of data collection indicate that the sample that meets the criteria is 86 firm-years, or 602 observations. The data analysis method used panel data regression. Results– The results showed that the board of directors size, Big 4, and audit committee size had a negative effect on the Audit Report Lag (ARL). Furthermore, the independent board of commissioners has a positive effect on ARL, while the female board of directors has no effect on the Audit Report Lag (ARL). Contribution– This research contributes to the development of corporate governance theory in relation to audit report lag. The results of this study can add insight and direction to reduce audit report lag for regulators, management, and investors on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, especially for manufacturing companies.
