Abstract

The research is aimed to improve student learning achievement on the subject of equilibrium ion and pH buffer solution in class XI MIA SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. This type of research is an experimental study with a pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. The sample study was included class XI MIA 6 as an experimental class and class XI MIA 5 as a control class. The experimental class was applied the cooperative learning model FSLC. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of the data analysis test, tcount> ttable is 1.78> 1.67, meaning that the application of cooperative learning model FSLC can improve student learning achievement on the subject of equilibrium ion and pH buffer solution in class XI MIA of SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan modul berbasis STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) pada pokok bahasanelektrokimia ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul berbasis STEM pada pokok bahasan elektrokimia kelas XII SMA/MA, mengetahui kevalidan modul berbasis STEM pada pokok bahasan elektrokimia berdasarkan aspek kelayakan isi, penyajian, bahasa, STEM serta kegrafisan, dan mengetahui respon pengguna terhadap produk modul berbasis STEM pada pokok bahasan elektrokimia. Prosedur pengembangan penelitian yang dikembangkan adalah model pengembangan ADDIE (Analisis, Perancangan, Pengembangan, Implementasi dan Evaluasi). Namun penelitian hanya dilakukan hingga tahap Pengembangan. Hasil dari pengembangan ini menunjukkan bahwa modul layak digunakan dengan baik  dengan penilaian kelayakan modul oleh para ahli sebesar 90,64%. Untuk respon pengguna modul dapat digunakan dengan baik dengan skor sebesar (88,19% guru dan 94% peserta didik).]

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa lembar kegitan peserta didik (LKPD) berbasis search, solve, create and share (SSCS) pada pokok bahasan kesetimbangan ion dan pH larutan garam untuk kelas XI tingkat SMA/MA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan 4-D. Objek penelitian yaitu LKPD berbasis SSCS. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar validasi yang diberikan kepada tiga orang validator dan lembar respon pengguna kepada dua orang guru mata pelajaran kimia dan 20 orang peserta didik kelas XII MIPA SMA dan MA. Teknik analisis data yaitu dengan cara menghitung skor persentase penilaian validasi dan respon pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis SSCS yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid dari aspek penilaian substansi isi, kelayakan karakteristik SSCS, kebahasaan, penyajian dan kegrafisan dengan persentase skor keseluruhan sebesar  93,01 %. Respon pengguna berdasarkan lembar tanggapan guru dan tanggapan peserta didik masing-masing memperoleh skor 92,5 % dan 91,43%.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Student Activities Worksheet Based on the MEA Model on the ionic equilibrium and pH of buffer solution material for grade XI SMA/MA. Student Worksheet Based are designed according to the stage of the MEA learning model. The type of this research is research and development (R and D) about the development process of 4-D. The object of this research is student activities worksheets based on MEA. The data collection is the validation user response questionnaire. The validity of the content aspect obtained the result of data analysis, characteristics of MEA, language aspect, serve aspect, and visual aspect are 96.43%, 93.33%, 85.41%, 97.22%, 97.91% with valid category. Student activities worksheets validated by the validators tested to 25 students and three teachers. The test responses by 25 students and three chemistry teachers included very good criteria, with each score of 95% and 80.33%. Based on the result of data analysis, student activities worksheets based on MEA of ionic equilibrium and pH of a buffer solution produced are valid.

Abstract

The ability of students to solve problems is still low; therefore, a Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based evaluation instrument through media is needed. This study aims to produce an evaluation instrument based on HOTS using Wondershare Quiz Creator (WQC) implemented to a valid ionic balance and pH buffer solution subject according to material and media experts. This research uses research and development (R&D) with the Plomp model. Besides, the research subjects are three teachers and 30 students in 11th grade from SMAN 8 Pekanbaru, SMAN 2 Pekanbaru, and MAN 1 Pekanbaru. Literature studies and field studies were carried out as the data collection techniques. The research data is obtained from the validation results of two material validators, two media validators, and user trials. The validation result to material validators has obtained the average based on the material aspect 96.00%, construction aspect 93.10%, and language aspect 99.00%. According to media validators, based on the content aspect 90.00%, learning design 84.00%, display (visual communication) 85.00%, and software utilization 95.71%. The analysis of the questions showed that ten questions were valid, had very high reliability, a medium difficulty level of five questions, and a difficult category of five questions and had good distinguishing power. User response scores are 88.00% by teachers and 95.23% by students with very good criteria.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan E-LKPD (elektronik-Lembar Kerja Peserta didik) berbasis Discovery Learning pada pokok bahasan termokimia kelas XI SMA/MA yang valid dan mengetahui respon pengguna terhadap E-LKPD berbasis Discovery Learning pada pokok bahasan termokimia kelas XI SMA/MA jika digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan 4-D yang meliputi tahap Define (Pendefenisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan) dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai tahap Develop (Pengembangan) berupa uji coba satu-satu, respon guru dan uji coba terbatas. Objek pada penelitian ini berupa E-LKPD berbasis Discovery Learning. Teknik analisis data yang dipakai dalam penelitian adalah analisis statistik deskriptif yang dilakukan dengan cara menghitung skor yang diperoleh pada saat validasi. Penilaian aspek kelayakan E-LKPD oleh tim validator berupa aspek kelayakan isi, karakteristik Discovery Learning, kebahasaan, penyajian, dan kegrafisan dengan persentase skor berturut-turut sebesar 98,23, 92,86, 95, 95,83 dan 96%. Secara keseluruhan skor rata-rata validasi E-LKPD berbasis Discovery Learning pada pokok bahasan termokimia adalah 91,26% yang termasuk dalam kriteria valid, artinya E-LKPD yang dikembangkan layak untuk diuji coba secara terbatas sedangkan persentase skor respon guru terhadap E-LKPD sebesar 93,38%  yang berada pada kriteria sangat baik.

Abstract

This Research aims to develop a digital student worksheet for hybrid learning that is valid and practically reviewed based on student responses as users. Digital student worksheet can be used as teaching materials that help students in hybrid learning. This research and development consist of three stages, namely define, design, and develop. The research data was obtained through a validation sheet by two expert validators based on aspects of content feasibility, aspects of didactic feasibility, aspects of language feasibility, aspects of presentation feasibility and aspects of graphic feasibility with response questionnaire for digital worksheet users. Based on the results of expert validation, the percentage are 93.75% on content feasibility; 83.33 % on didactic feasibility; 89.58% on language feasibility; 83.33% on presentation feasibility; and 83.33% on graphic feasibility. The percentage as result of questionnaire for digital worksheet users is 89.47%. Students’ responses as users show that digital worksheet is practical, easy to access, and can increase interest in learning. So, the average of digital worksheet validity percentage is 86.66% and it can be concluded that the digital student worksheet for hybrid learning which is developed using the Microsoft Sway application is categorized as very valid and can be used as a learning media.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of chemistry laboratory literacy levels by developing an e-EncyLab using 3D Pageflip Professional. This study employs a quantitative research methodology. The participants were 10th-grade students. Data was collected using a set of 12 essay questions designed to assess chemistry laboratory literacy, available in the e-EncyLab. Increasing laboratory literacy level abilities can be determined using the N-gain test. The results of this research showed an increase in N-Gain of 0.68 in the medium category. The effect of using e-EncyLab in increasing chemistry laboratory literacy is shown by the results of the paired sample test, which shows sig 0.000 < sig 0.05, which means there is a significant difference in the level of chemistry laboratory literacy of students in the control class and the experimental class that uses e-EncyLab. The use of e-EncyLab is effective in increasing students' chemistry laboratory literacy.
