Abstract

Abstract

Abstract This article focuses on the coreferential systems of the Indonesian subordinative clauses. The specific aims are to analyze the Indonesian language typology morphosyntactically, the morphological alteration that brings about the argument structures, and the coreferential behaviour. The data were taken from the Indonesian complex sentences taking the forms of the combination of: 1) intransitive clause and intransitive clause, 2) intransitive clause and transitive clause, 3) transitive clause and intransitive clause, and 4) transitive clause and transitive clause. The theory employed is the theory of typology proposed by Comrie (1988) modified by Artawa (2004). The result of the analysis showed that the Indonesian language does not belong to such language typologies as accusative, active, passive, ergarive, and antipassive; the morphological alteration of the verb can result in the argument structures of the clause taking the forms and marked with zero and personal pronoun; and the basic coreferential system of the Indonesian language may be in the forms of S = P in which A is different, and S = A in which P is different, while the derived systems, which are based upon the combination of clauses, are as follows: (1) S = S, (2) S = P, (3) S = A, (4) A = S, (5) P = S, (6) A = A, (7) A = P, and (8) P = A.

Abstract

Tri Hita Karana at the elementary school environment is an effort in learning Hinduism to develop three aspects, namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Through religious education, Hindu Religion students are guided to always foster harmonious relations with God, others and the environment. Tri Hita Karana's teachings will be realized through balance in their implementation to maintain a harmonious relationship between humans and God, humans with each other, and humans with the natural environment. From preliminary observations, there are several types of violations or deviations of student behavior that are negative, including the behavior of students who are less obedient to the teacher, rebel or against the teacher's advice, students who are always joking when carrying out tri-sandya, some students who are less active in community service activities and have more chat or stay away when friends work together to clean up the school environment, and some students who seem to prefer littering in the classroom or the schoolyard.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategies for cultivating and developing regional languages within the context of Smart Society 5.0; a society that places humans at the center of technological innovation. Regional languages are vital cultural assets that reflect local identity and values. However, amid the currents of globalization and the dominance of national and foreign languages in digital spaces, many regional languages are experiencing a decline in speakers, particularly among the younger generation. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review of journal articles, books, policy documents, and official reports. The findings indicate that regional language development through school-based local content, teacher training, and community involvement proves effective when supported by strong policies and the use of digital technology. Educational apps, online dictionaries, and multimedia content present significant opportunities to engage the interest of younger generations. The role of cultural communities, traditional institutions, and local governments is also crucial in revitalizing the function of regional languages in daily life. Therefore, preservation strategies must integrate cultural, educational, and technological approaches in a sustainable manner. This study recommends a community-based collaborative model and a digital ecosystem as adaptive preservation strategies for the challenges of the Smart Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

Short stories are a form of modern Balinese literature that usually tell a fragment of the main character's life, unlike novels that present a complete life story. The short story Raré Kumara by I Gede Putra Ariawan depicts kinship in a family and is based on the reality of human life that is reflected by the author. The stories in this collection of short stories convey messages that are relevant and valuable to society.  Based on this background, this study formulates three main problems, namely: (1) what is the intrinsic structure of the Raré Kumara short story collection, (2) what aspects of the sociology of literature are contained in it, and (3) what educational values can be found. The theories used in this study are Teeuw's structuralism theory, Wellek and Warren's sociology of literature theory, and Tarigan's value theory. This study is qualitative-descriptive with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, literature studies, and documentation. The data analysis process includes reduction, discussion, and drawing conclusions. The results of the analysis show that the Raré Kumara short story collection contains important moral messages in community life.  Intrinsically, this short story includes elements such as plot, characters, setting, theme, and moral. In terms of literary sociology, a description of the author's social life and background is found. The educational values contained include moral, social, cultural, and religious values.
