Abstract

The development of information and communication technologies become a topic which widely discussed at this time especially when associated with the functions of government. The implementation of government using information and communication technologies in its development known as e-Government. It has the aim to improve the quality of public service, increas the efficiency and public transparency. As well as many other positive benefits. E-Government is a new innovation that needs to be done by government institutions. The Local Government of Riau Province in this case trying to realize the Law Decree No. 14 of 2008 concerning public disclosure through the implementation of website as a media of public information in the Riau Provincial Government. The applied media public information is www.riau.go.id as the official portal of Riau Provincial Government and this as a bridge of communication between the Local Government with public and Local Government with other Local Governments. This study used descriptive method with qualitative approach. The object of this study is the implementation of electronic government (e-gov) through the implementation website of Riau Provincial Government to achieve public transparency with the subject of 10 people. 6 people from the communications of informatics and electronics data processing department, 3 people from the user public, and 1 person from the public relations bureau secretariat of Riau Province by taking subjects using purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study using in-depth observation, interview and documentation. The result of this study is public service that exist in this e-Gov has 3 classes, namely class publication, class interaction, and class transaction. Riau Provincial Government showed that the implementation of government website in class publication and class interaction have been done, while the class transaction they can not do it. In class publication, Riau Provincial Government has provided a variety if data and information in the form of news and documentations (photos and video) that can be accessed by public freely and transparently. In class interaction, it has provided facility for people to be able to participate through this website, as fas as this form of interaction that is available in the form of indirect interaction. Abstract

Political communication is a communication medium that can be used by candidates for legislative members to their prospective voters. This is considered as an information distribution system that can facilitate access to information by voters to legislative candidates. So that voters in choosing their representatives will be based more on track record information and work programs. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach using the case study method. To find out in depth about the problems being studied, this study used a key informant, namely H. Sumaryo BA as a candidate for legislative members in the 2019 elections in Siak Regency. The results of the study stated that the political communication strategy carried out by H. Sumaryo BA as a legislative member candidate in the 2019 general election in Siak Regency was a positioning strategy (strengthening strategy, persuasion strategy) which was modified with a political communication strategy which included maintaining institutional strengthening character, understanding the audience , crafting persuasive messages, setting methods, choosing media, the art of compromise and being willing to open up. This research concludes that the more dominant and effective strategy used in the winning strategy in the 2019 legislative elections by H.Sumaryo BA is the Caring for Character strategy.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) dilakukan di Ikatan Keluarga Wartawan Indonesia (IKWI) cabang Provinsi Riau. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan di lapangan masih banyak anggota IKWI Provisi Riau yang masih memerlukan pengetahuan dan informasi tentang kesehatan. Oleh karena itu penulis mengadakan kegiatan PKM tentang Penyuluhan komunikasi kesehatan keluarga pada Ikatan Keluarga Wartawan Indonesia (IKWI) Provinsi Riau di Pekanbaru. Tujuan kegiatan PKM ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya kesehatan yang dimulai dari lingkungan keluarga, menjaga pola hidup sehat dan mencegah diri dari berbagai penyakit. PKM dilakukan dengan memberikan materi penyuluhan berupa penjelasan mengenai kesehatan keluarga. Sebelum melakukan presentasi tim dosen PKM memberikan pertanyaan secara lisan kepada peserta untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan atau wawasan peserta mengenai kesehatan keluarga. Hanya 10 % peserta kegiatan yang hanya sedikit mengetahui tentang kesehatan keluarga. Setelah kegiatan PKM dilakukan dan tim dosen PKM memberikan post test pertanyaan secara lisan, maka hampir semua peserta (95%) bisa menjawab pertanyaan. Antusiasme peserta selama proses penyuluhan sangat tinggi, hal ini dapat terlihat dari proses interaksi antara Tim dosen saat penyampaian materi dan sesi tanya jawab. Dalam hal ini tim dosen PKM dapat dikatakan berhasil dalam menyampaikan materi.

Abstract

The author conducted this socialization towards students and junior lecturers. This socialization was conducted during the author's teaching hours and informal discussions among colleagues in the office. The result in this article show the author conducted lasted for approximately four meetings with students at the author's teaching place with the concept of socializing the use of Perpexity AI once and directly practicing writing journals and thesis frameworks with three evaluations. When conducting socialization, the author explained a number of advantages of Perplexity AI, including: 1. More Optimal Search Engine Capabilities: Google Search is more optimal in searching using keywords. If we enter a long sentence, Google often cannot find search results. This is different from Perplexity AI which is able to understand the context of the writing we input, whether it is in the form of long text or just keywords. Anyone who uses it will certainly be facilitated. 2. More Accurate Answers: Although ChatGPT has a broad understanding of language, they may not always understand the context in depth. This causes answers that are less precise or not in accordance with what the user means. Unlike Perplexity which has a better understanding of context so that its answers can be more relevant and accurate. 3. Chatbot with Advanced Capabilities: This AI can respond to any conversation you make, even if it's just a "hello". The answers are also very friendly so that we can feel comfortable when chatting with this search engine. Even so, his knowledge is so broad that we can ask him anything, from trivial questions to very difficult questions. He will try to answer it as accurately as possible complete with references. 4. Displaying Answer Sources Transparently: Every answer it provides is usually obtained from Google search results. Even so, Perplexity AI is able to summarize it for you. So, you don't need to bother getting the gist of the answer. One thing that makes this AI so helpful is that it will display the source of information for each answer. Not just one source, at least two to five sources of information can be found. 5. Fast and Efficient: No need to wait long to see the answer from Perplexity. After you type the question, the answer will immediately appear below it. Even so, this speed is also influenced by several factors. The more difficult and complex the question you throw, of course the answering process will also be longer. So, this speed issue must be adjusted to these variables. In fact, among the advantages that the author mentioned above, there are still many other advantages possessed by Perplexity AI such as performance evaluation, ease of use, can be used on PC or smartphone, and so on. The advantages possessed by Perplexity AI, researchers are that it can improve the quality of student research, both journals and theses.

Abstract

Abstract This study is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach, namely an approach that describes one by one each main topic used in this article. The data used in this article is secondary data that researchers obtain from credible sources that are commonly used in each study. The data used is analyzed by the stages of data collection, data selection, data reduction, and drawing conclusions with more comprehensive research results below. The result in this article show that the policy of increasing the value added tax to twelve percent which is one of the legal products for luxury goods products can be in line with the objectives of Gustav Radbruch's law, namely justice and benefits if the allocation is correct and can be utilized as well as possible. Increasing the Value Added Tax to twelve percent can increase national income that can be allocated for national development, increasing community welfare, and increasing the human growth index. In the view of humanism communication theory if it is connected to the policy of increasing value added tax to twelve percent, the approach can be in line if only the utilization of the increase can be utilized as well as possible and truly. The increase in value added tax can increase national income significantly. By increasing national income, it can also increase the welfare of society, national development, and improve the quality of human resources.
