Abstract

The attendance system uses a tool called a fingerprint like a developing technology, if there is a new technology that is old, it will show its shortcomings, namely making long queues at the time of attendance, having to come to the place of absence, and requiring processing for real time notifications, plus at this time during the Covid-19 pandemic which requires employees to work from home (WFH). The purpose of this study is to produce an android-based attendance system that can be installed on all employees' android phones using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for real time notification features that will appear on the android phones of the dept heads and staff who use it. This study uses a prototyping system development method with a sequence of stages: needs analysis, design, prototype making, prototype evaluation, testing, implementation, and maintenance. The results of the notification application test successfully appear on the employee side and on the leadership side in the process of applying for leave or permission either approved or rejected on employees' android phones without having to open the application first and this application can be accessed anywhere and anytime to process permits or leave employees and provide real time notifications.

Abstract

The main purpose of using cryptography is to provide the following four basic information security services. One of the purposes of cryptography is secrecy. Confidentiality is the fundamental security service provided by cryptography. This is a security service that stores information from unauthorized persons. Confidentiality can be achieved through a variety of ways ranging from physical security to the use of mathematical algorithms for data encryption. Vernam cipher is a stream cipher where the original data or plain with 8x8 block operation. Experimental results prove that RC4 can perform encryption and decryption with a fast execution process. In this study used a processor with 8GB of RAM. The encryption result of the text used yields the average encryption time and decryption average of 2 second.

Abstract

Covid-19 yang muncul di awal tahun 2020 berdampak terhadap berbagai sektor, terutama di sektor bidang ekonomi. Dampak ini signifikan terjadi pada sektor Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) mengalami penurunan usaha ekonomi. Disebabkan menurunnya tingkat kemampuan beli masyarakat berpengaruh sekali terhadap keberlangsungan dunia usaha UMKM. Penurunan usaha yang dialami oleh UMKM yang tidak disadari telah menjadi ancaman untuk perekonomian tingkat nasional. Dengan demikian pembinaan, pendampingan  dan bantuan lainnya bagi pelaku UMKM pada musim pandemi ini sangat diperlukan dan harus  menjadi perhatian tesendiri terutama bagi lembaga pemerintah dan akademis. Tujuan program pengabdian adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan design packaging dan digital marketing produk UMKM Desa Binaan PKKP Kab. Abstract

Keamanan data dalam sistem merupakan problem yang hingga saat ini membuat Peneliti terus mengembangkan keilmuan. kriptografi sebagai salah satu teknik keamanan data, khususnya pada dta teks melalui implementasi krptografi klasik. Pada penelitian ini telah diimplementasikan kombinasi vigenere dan hill cipher. Kedua algoritma merupakan algoritma yang mudah dalam implementasi, namun masing-masing memiliki kekurangan. Vigenere mudah dibrute force, sedangkan hill cipher pada proses dekripsi harus menggunakan kunci yang dapat dibali sehingga tidak semua kunci cocok untuk digunakan. Kombinasi Vigenere dan hill cipher telah diimplementasikan dan diuji coba menggunakan black box testing serta perhitungan Avalanche Effect. Pengujian menggunakan Avalanche Effect menghasilkan nilai rata-rata 52,46%.

Abstract

Teknologi internet yang terus berkembang menimbulkan banyak dampak terhadap media digital yang berupateks, citra, audio dan video. Salah satu dampaknya adalah kemudahan dalam pertukaran, pendistribusian danpenggandaan data digital, di sisi lain kemudahan ini juga menimbulkan permasalahan ketika data digital ituterlindungi oleh hak cipta atau data digital itu bersifat rahasia. Watermarking menjadi salah satu solusi untukmasalah perlindungan hak cipta data digital. Penelitian tentang watermarking telah banyak dilakukan sebelumnyasalah satunya adalah DWT. Dari beberapa Penelitian yang telah dilakukan ditemukan adanya kelemahan padaproses penyisipan pesan yaitu waktu untuk proses penyisipan citra watermark yang relative lama apalagi untukcitra dengan size yang besar.Adanya permasalahan mengenai waktu penyisipan pesan yang relatif lama maka perluuntuk melanjutkan penelitian mengenai watermarking untuk mencoba menerapkan proses kompresi pada citra aslisebelum dilakukan proses penyisipan citra watermark. Abstract

Digital image security using Transform Domain algorithms such as Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) has been widely used. To improve the security of the DWT algorithm needs to randomize the pixel coefficient, namely Arnold Cat Map (ACM). Computing ACM as one of the chaos functions is known to be fast and fits with Transform Domain. DWT has been implemented in the Daubechies filter which is the development of the Haar filer. In this paper, we proposed the message insertion model using a combination of DWT and ACM on a 512x512 piskel grayscale image and a 64x64 pixel message on the LL subband. The experiments were performed on 2 different images to determine the ability produced by the combined algroithm. The ability test for message insertion process is done through Mean Square Error (MSE), Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and comparation between original image histogram and image insertion histogram. While in the process of message extraction, algorithmic capability test is done by calculating Normalized Cross Correlation (NCC) and its correlation. The highest MSE result is 2.9502 and the highest PSNR is 43.4323 dB, while the NCC value is 237.3584 with correlation 0.7181.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pesatnya perkembangan teknologi digital dan dukungan terhadap masterplan Smart City Kota Semarang 2021-2026. Masalah utama yang ditemukan di Kelurahan Pedurungan Tengah adalah proses administrasi kependudukan yang masih bersifat manual, sehingga memerlukan digitalisasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan publik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi tahap identifikasi dan observasi, perancangan serta pengembangan sistem, sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada 50 warga, hingga tahap implementasi dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terwujudnya platform digital "RT/RW Online" melalui website resmi https://rt3rw16pedteng.my.id/users/home yang memungkinkan warga melakukan pengajuan surat secara mandiri. Kesimpulannya, implementasi sistem ini berhasil mengoptimalkan pelayanan publik dengan mengubah sistem manual menjadi digital yang lebih transparan dan cepat. Meskipun demikian, variasi tingkat literasi digital di antara warga tetap memerlukan pendampingan intensif sebagai langkah keberlanjutan program.Kata kunci: Administrasi Kependudukan, Digitalisasi, Pelayanan Publik, Pedurungan Tengah, Smart City.

Abstract

This study aims to improve identity validation in a Flutter-based attendance system that remains vulnerable to attendance manipulation, such as buddy punching and fake GPS usage. The primary issue in the previous system was that location-based validation mechanisms were unable to ensure that attendance activities were genuinely performed by authorized users. As a system implementation and software engineering study, this research applies a multi-feature similarity approach based on face embeddings, where appearance similarity serves as the primary component calculated using cosine similarity. Supporting features include geometry similarity, quality score, color similarity, and texture similarity. The system was developed using the FAST methodology, with implementation based on Flutter, Google ML Kit for face and landmark detection, and MobileFaceNet for face embedding extraction. Testing was conducted through direct implementation trials, API testing, and black-box testing involving 655 employees using a similarity threshold of 0.80. The results from 14 testing scenarios showed that all system outputs matched the expected outcomes, resulting in 100% scenario accuracy. Compared to the previous GPS-based attendance system, indications of attendance manipulation decreased from 70 cases (10.7%) to only 1 case (0.15%). In addition, the False Acceptance Rate decreased from 12.8% to 0.2%, with an average verification time of 1200 ms. These findings demonstrate that the multi-feature similarity approach based on face embeddings is capable of improving the validity and integrity of real-time attendance data on mobile devices.
