Abstract

Humans, by nature, are inclined to share knowledge across various platforms, such as educational institutions, media outlets, and specialized research publications like journals and conferences. The consistent oversight and evaluation of these publications by ranking bodies serve to maintain the integrity and quality of scholarly discourse on a global scale. However, there has been a decline in the proliferation of such publications in recent times, partly attributed to ethical misconduct within specific segments of the scholarly community. Despite implementing systems such as the Open Journal System (OJS), publishers grapple with the formidable task of managing editorial and review processes. Compounding the multifaceted nature of scholarly content, manual review procedures often lead to considerable time investment. Thus, a pressing need exists for advanced technological solutions to streamline the article selection process, empowering publishers to prioritize articles for review based on topical relevance. This study advocates adopting a comprehensive framework integrating advanced text analysis techniques such as keyword extraction, topic clustering, and summarization algorithms. These tools can be implemented and integrated by connecting with the database of the existing system. By leveraging these tools with the expertise of editorial and review teams, publishers can significantly expedite the initial assessment of submitted articles. Given the rapid technological advancements, publishers must embrace robust systems that enhance efficiency and effectiveness, particularly in reviewer assignments and article prioritization. This research employs the neural network approach of BERT and K-Means clustering to perform keyword extraction and topic clustering. Furthermore, using BERT facilitates accurate semantic understanding and context-aware representation of textual data. Additionally, BERT's pre-trained models enable its fine-tuning capability to allow customization to specific domains or tasks. By harnessing the power of BERT, publishers can gain deeper insights into the content of scholarly articles, leading to more informed decision-making and improved publication outcomes.

Abstract

Students who have studied for a considerable amount of time and will complete a lecture process must complete the necessary final steps. One of them is writing a thesis, a requirement for all students who wish to graduate from college. Each student's choice of topic or specialization will be enhanced if it not only corresponds to their interests but also to their skills. K-Nearest Neighbor is one of the classification techniques used. K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) operates by determining the shortest distance between the data to be evaluated and the K-Nearest (neighbor) from the training data. K-Nearest Neighbor is utilized to classify new objects based on the learning data closest to the new object. Therefore, KNN is ideally suited for classifying data to predict student thesis topics. This research concludes that optimizing the k value using k-fold cross-validation yields an accuracy rate of 79.37% using k-fold cross-validation = 2 and the K-5 value. Based on the K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm classification results, 45 students are interested in computational theory thesis (RPL) topics, 32 students are interested in artificial intelligence (AI) thesis topics, and 21 students are interested in software development topics.

Abstract

The fluctuation of gold prices throughout the year makes it difficult for both investors and regular individuals to predict the future value. The goal of this research is to utilize various statistical techniques, such as linear regression, naive bayes, and various types of smoothing algorithms, to predict the price of gold. The data used in this study was obtained from Kaggle and is from a 70-year time period. The results showed that using a single exponential smoothing method had the highest accuracy and precision, with a good MAPE score of 7.12%. This study is unique in that it compares multiple algorithms using data over a long time period, and it can be useful for investors and traders in making decisions related to gold prices. Additionally, it can also serve as a reference for future research studies.

Abstract

Stock Opname (Penghitungan Inventory) adalah pencatatan dan penyesuaian stok barang, baik yang tersimpan di toko, perusahaan atau di gudang dengan menggunakan data stok yang tersimpan di database sistem perusahaan. Stock opname penting dilaksanakan dengan terjadwal secara teratur agar perusahaan dapat mengetahui dan memantau asset yang dimiliki. Dengan dilaksanakannya stock opname secara menyeluruh maka data dari stock opname tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai pertimbangan dalam pemasukan stok selanjutnya. Mengingat pentingnya dilakukan stock opname tersebut berguna untuk perusahaan dalam kenyamanan dan kemudahan dalam mencari informasi. Oleh karena itu dari penelitian ini akan akan dikembangkan sebuah aplikasi berbentuk website, sehingga dapat mendukung proses pencatatan dan pelaporan stok. Metode yang digunakan untuk pembuatan aplikasi ini adalah metode waterfall, mengusulkan sebuah pendekatan kepada perkembangan perangkat lunak yang sistematik dan sekuensial yang mulai pada tingkat dan kemajuan sistem pada seluruh analisis, desain, kode, pengujian dan pemeliharaan. Untuk pembangunan sistem perangkat lunak ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, sedangkan untuk server menggunakan Apache dan untuk database menggunakan MySQL/ XAMPP. Hasil yang dicapai dari penelitian adalah Sistem Pencatatan dan Pelaporan Stok yang akan dipakai oleh perusahaan. Aplikasi ini menghasilkan ouput yang dibutuhkan manajer, antara lain bisa membuka laporan persediaan barang, serta mengoptimalkan performa administrasi gudang dalam penyetokan dan penyusunan persediaan barang di gudang.

Abstract

UD. Amerta Yoga akan melakukan transformasi digital dengan mengganti sistem penjualan dan manajemen stok tradisional yang menggunakan nota manual menjadi sistem yang lebih modern. Usaha ini bergerak di bidang jual beli daging unggas, pakan, dan obat-obatan, namun hingga saat ini stok produk hanya dicatat masuknya saja. Tujuan dari transformasi digital ini adalah untuk memberikan kemudahan dan efisiensi proses penjualan maupun manajemen stok. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sistem penjualan yang terintegrasi dengan stok untuk memudahkan dan mengefisienkan proses penjualan dari segi biaya, waktu, dan kerapian. UD. Amerta Yoga juga menyediakan pemesanan produk dengan fitur konversi stok untuk produk eceran. Aplikasi yang akan digunakan menggunakan perangkat Ipad, dikarenakan iPad mudah dioperasikan dan memiliki tampilan yang lebih luas dibandingkan Handphone. Dalam pengembangan aplikasi digunakan metode Waterfall, yang dimulai dengan tahap analisis sampai ke pengujian Untuk pengujian menggunakan metode UMUX untuk mengukur tingkat kebergunaan aplikasi dari sisi pengalaman pengguna. Setelah dilakukan pengujian dengan metode UMUX, didapatkan nilai sebesar 71.8 yang berarti aplikasi memiliki tingkat penerimaan yang Acceptable atau dapat diterima. Namun memang masih perlu dilakukan beberapa perbaikan agar memiliki rating penilaian yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mengalami kemajuan pesat dari waktu ke waktu, sehingga banyak toko kecil yang mulai memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk memperlancar operasional mereka. Hal ini menghadirkan tantangan baru bagi pemilik toko untuk menciptakan sistem yang dapat mengintegrasikan informasi, guna mempermudah dan meningkatkan kinerja toko. Toko Surabaya Otomotif, sebagai salah satu pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di bidang otomotif, menghadapi keterbatasan dalam menjalankan proses bisnisnya. Saat ini, Toko Surabaya Otomotif masih menjalankan proses bisnisnya secara manual tanpa penerapan teknologi. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, Toko Surabaya Otomotif memerlukan sistem pencatatan transaksi dan stok barang yang terdigitalisasi dengan integrasi basis data. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dilakukan perancangan aplikasi penjualan menggunakan PHP dan MySQL. Fitur-fitur yang dikembangkan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pengguna, yaitu input dan edit kategori barang serta item yang dijual, pembuatan laporan kartu stok, penginputan penjualan, pembuatan laporan penjualan, dan pembuatan katalog barang. Pengujian hasil implementasi aplikasi dilakukan dengan metode wawancara untuk memastikan aplikasi dapat digunakan dan untuk mendapatkan masukan langsung dari pengguna (blackbox). Selain itu, digunakan juga metode UMUX (Usability Metric for User Experience) untuk mengukur hasil pengujian secara kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, rancang bangun aplikasi yang dibuat dalam bentuk website berhasil melakukan manajemen transaksi dan stok barang, yang dibuktikan dengan hasil pengujian kepada pengguna serta nilai UMUX sebesar 87,5.

Abstract

One of the learning models currently deemed relevant to the current learning process is project-based learning; using this method, students are expected to be able to develop a product based on lecture activities completed in collaboration with group members. In order to maintain the objectivity of assessment in this learning paradigm, the final outcome of a learning process must be evaluated. An integrated information system is a solution that can meet the requirements of an evaluation procedure. This integrated information system is also a solution that eliminates the need for all appraisers to assemble in the same location, allows external appraisers, such as those from the industry and practitioners, to view product quality more objectively, and facilitates dialogue throughout the assessment process. This study's information system will be constructed using web-based and mobile computing to enable access to applications regardless of location or geography.This research has produced an accessible and dependable architecture for an integrated information system supporting collaborative assessment processes for project-based learning.. Abstract

Online batik shopping often results in buyer dissatisfaction due to discrepancies between product descriptions and the actual items received. Static images and text on e-marketplace platforms are insufficient to convey the intricate details of batik designs, leading to mismatches in customer expectations. To mitigate this issue, Live Streaming Commerce (LSC) features, such as those on Shopee Live, allow sellers to showcase products in real-time, providing more accurate representations. However, sellers face challenges in managing overwhelming volume of comments during live streams, making it difficult to prioritize important queries. LYFY, a comment management app developed to streamline these interactions, aims to address this problem by improving the quality of interaction between live streamers and prospective buyers through filtering important comments. This study examines the determinants affecting the adoption of LYFY by online batik vendors. The research integrates the Task-Technology Fit (TTF), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and Expectation-Confirmation Model (ECM) frameworks to evaluate LYFY's performance in fulfilling user requirements. Data were collected from 243 respondents with LSC experience, and the research model underwent evaluation through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The measurement model exhibited high reliability and validity, with values surpassing the suggested thresholds, thereby providing solid support for subsequent analysis. Key factors such as TTF, confirmation, perceived usefulness, ease of use, and satisfaction were examined to determine their impact on user adoption. The analysis revealed that TTF has the strongest influence on confirmation, perceived usefulness, satisfaction, and individual performance. Additionally, perceived ease of use and confirmation substantially influence continuance intentions and satisfaction. These results suggest that enhancing LYFY's task-technology fit and simplifying its user interface are crucial for improving user satisfaction and adoption. By addressing these areas, LYFY can better support live stream sellers, reduce product expectation discrepancies, and improve overall customer experience, particularly in the online batik market.

Abstract

Teknologi adalah alat yang digunakan manusia dalam mempermudah pekerjaannya. Salah satu contohnya adalah komputer. Komputer dapat digunakan hampir semua kalangan dan kegunaannya juga banyak seperti menyimpan data, melakukan perhitungan, atau bahkan hiburan. Pada era digital ini, tidak dipungkiri banyak sektor bisnis yang menggunakan teknologi komputer dalam menjalankan bisnisnya. Penggunaan komputer dalam menjalankan bisnis sangat membantu operasional bisnis tertentu. Hanya saja, tidak semua pebisnis menerapkan teknologi komputer dalam menjalankan bisnisnya yang di mana dalam kasus ini adalah Toko Lancar Elektronik. Toko ini adalah toko yang menjual kebutuhan elektronik rumah tangga tetapi operasionalnya masih konvensional. Hal ini tentunya menyebabkan operasional toko kurang cepat dan kurang efisien. Maka dari itu, dalam jurnal ini akan merancang bangun sistem pencatatan penjualan dan pembelian untuk Toko Lancar Elektronik dengan harapan mempercepat operasional toko dan memberikan efisiensi dalam menjalankan bisnis. Framework yang akan digunakan dalam pengembangan ini adalah Flask sementara bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan adalah Python. Sistem yang akan dirancang dibuat untuk digunakan 1 komputer dan penyimpanan data dilakukan secara lokal. Pengujian usability dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner metode UMUX guna mengetahui kepuasan pengguna terhadap sistem aplikasi yang telah dirancang. Dari penggunaan metode UMUX setelah pengguna melakukan uji coba sistem aplikasi, nilai yang didapatkan adalah tinggi sebesar 87,5 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengguna dapat menggunakan sistem dengan mudah dan juga sistem mampu menjawab permasalahan yang dihadapi pengguna.

Abstract

Live streaming has emerged as an essential tool for e-commerce, allowing sellers to engage with potential customers in real-time. However, the massive influx of comments during these sessions often includes a mix of useful product-related queries and irrelevant or distracting messages, which can overwhelm the presenter and reduce the effectiveness of the stream. In this paper, we propose LyFy, a browser-based extension designed to filter live chat messages and provide personalized product recommendations in real-time, specifically applied in Batik e-commerce to support the preservation and promotion of this unique cultural heritage of Indonesia. Our system uses a combination of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning models to identify relevant comments, group similar queries, and offer product suggestions based on viewers' interests. We demonstrate the effectiveness of this system through a prototype implementation and evaluate its performance with qualitative feedback from streamers and users. The evaluation results indicate high user satisfaction, with over 51% of respondents rating LyFy as highly effective and 52% as highly efficient, making it a valuable tool for enhancing e-commerce live streaming interactions.
