Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a home-based trip generation model and analyze the variables that influence the trip generation model of people. This study focuses on the trip generation of home-based people in the Medan-Binjai-Deli Serdang (Mebidang) area so that the sample to be used in households that make home-based trips in the region. The mathematical model that generated regression with the dependent variable the number of home-based trips affected by several independent variables that influence it. The resulting model was then validated by the VIF and Anova tests and the Heteroscedasticity test. From the results of this study, it is expected that a trip generation model of home-based trip generation in the Mebidang urban area will be generated so that it can be known what factors influence the trip generation of the area.

Abstract

Indonesia Port Corporation I (PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero)) or PT. Pelindo I is one of the Indonesian state-owned enterprises which manages port services in western Indonesia. Shipyard unit (Unit Galangan Kapal (UGK)) is a branch of PT. Pelindo I. At present, a problem arises if more than 2 ships are being repaired at once in the unit, UGK scheduling overlaps the repairing activities. In order to solve the problem, study of human factor is important. Human factor is the study of the limitations, capabilities, and human behavior, as well as its interaction with the product, environment, equipment and the establishment of tasks and activities. One part of the human factor is the human factor in system design. In order to improve the effectiveness of the system, the human factor must be involved in each phase of the design process in the system design. This includes a number of activities to obtain input specification work, therefore the working methods and the optimal amount of labor can be determined. Human factors engineering is the application of science that utilizes research on the human factor and use the basic knowledge to design, to repair and to install the system. This research method is causal, searching for the causes which led to delays in the completion of ship repairing. Through human factor engineering approach to the allocation of labor increased by 12.23 per cent of the actual conditions, so that the delay of ship repair were not found during normal conditions.

Abstract

CV. XYZ adalah salah satu usaha yang bergerak di bidang makanan dan minuman di mana salah satu produknya adalah es dawet. Proses produksi es dawet memiliki beberapa proses produksi. Salah satu proses produksi es dawet adalah proses pemotongan daun pandan. Kondisi nyata pada proses pemotongan daun pandan tidak terdapat fasilitas kerja yang mendukung operator dalam melakukan aktivitas kerjanya. Operator melaksanakan pekerjaannya dengan postur tubuh berdiri. Fasilitas kerja yang digunakan oleh operator yakni drum dilapisi papan sebagai tempat pemotongan daun pandan. Hasil kuesioner SNQ yang diberikan kepada operator pemotongan daun pandan menunjukkan keluhan musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Salah satu faktor yang dapat menimbulkan risiko MSDs pada operator adalah postur kerja. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini untuk mengukur nilai postur kerja operator adalah dengan menggunakan metode REBA. Hasil penilaian postur kerja operator tersebut termasuk ke dalam kategori level tindakan perbaikan sekarang juga dengan kategori berbahaya dan dapat menyebabkan risiko MSDs. Permasalahan tersebut diatasi dengan usulan perbaikan rancangan fasilitas kerja berupa meja kerja dan kursi kerja yang dirancang secara ergonomis berdasarkan dimensi antropometri tubuh manusia di indonesia. Hasil penilaian postur kerja usulan diperoleh level risiko yang kecil dimana tindakan yang harus dilakukan adalah mungkin diperlukan tindakan perbaikan. Kesimpulan yang didapat bahwa usulan perbaikan rancangan fasilitas ini mampu mengurangi risiko MSDs

Abstract

R.S. XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan jasa yang menyelenggarakan pelayanan kesehatan. Kesadaran masyarakat yang semakin tinggi terhadap  pentingnya kesehatan merupakan salah satu alasan bahwa kebutuhan akan  prasarana kesehatan juga semakin meningkat. Selain itu pula masyarakat akan  semakin bijak untuk memilih mana yang terbaik dan sesuai dengan apa yang  mereka inginkan dan butuhkan. Ketatnya persaingan saat ini memaksa pihak manajemen harus membuat suatu konsep rencana yang berorientasi kepada konsumen sehingga rumah sakit tersebut akan mempunyai suatu keunggulan yang dapat dipergunakan untuk menghadapi persaingan. Taraf kehidupan yang membaik membuat masyarakat mulai menuntut penyediaan layanan kesehatan yang berkualitas. Pelanggan yang tidak puas terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan akan beralih pada perusahaan lain yang menurutnya lebih baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kepuasan pelanggan rawat inap dan memberikan solusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pelayanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan integrasi Quality Function Deployment (QFD) dengan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk menjaring keinginan pelanggan, melihat atribut yang harus diprioritaskan serta yang harus dilakukan oleh perusahaan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Hasil QFD menunjukan bahwa pasien menginginkan 15 variabel pelayanan dan sebanyak 80% dari variabel pelayanan dinilai sangat penting. Prioritas perbaikan pihak rumah sakit adalah variabel jadwal pelayanan tepat waktu yang memiliki bobot paling tinggi. Hasil perhitungan AHP menunjukkan prioritas karakteristik pelayanan adalah tingkat pendidikan dan pengalaman kerja dibidangnya, artinya pihak rumah sakit  memberdayakan tenaga medis dan non medis yang memiliki dasar pendidikan dan pengalaman kerja dibidang kesehatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh moral dan kapabilitas karyawan terhadap komitmen kerja serta implikasinya terhadap organizational citizenship behavior pada Bank Sumut Kantor Pusat Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Objek penelitian adalah karyawan di Bank Sumut Kantor Pusat Medan. Dalam penelitian ini populasi adalah seluruh karyawan pada Bank Sumut Kantor Pusat Medan yang berjumlah 2.217 orang (kecuali security, office boy, dan driver). Sampel penelitian ini adalah 320 sampel. Teknik analisis yang digunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan moral dan kabapibilitas berpengaruh terhadap komitmen kerja. Moral, kapabilitas, dan komitmen kerja berpengaruh terhadap organizational citizenship behavior. Komitmen kerja memediasi secara parsial pengaruh  moral dan kabapibilitas terhadap organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Menguji pengaruh kompetensi, budaya organisasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Simalungun. Penelitian ini dibuat dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Objek penelitian adalah pegawai di Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Simalugun. Populasi adalah seluruh pegawai pada Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Simalugun yang berjumlah  553 orang pegawai. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 233 pegawai. Teknik analisis yang digunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara simultan kompetensi, budaya organisasi dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai. Secara parsial kompetensi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, budaya organisasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

This research seeks to identify and explain the impact of transportation on regional economic development in the Aceh Tamiang Regency. This quantitative study relies on secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Aceh Tamiang Regency for theyears 2013 to 2021. The method of data analysis is executed using the collected secondary data, which is first processed to determine the value of each variable. After collecting the data, it is tabulated so it can be analyzed using correlation and regression statistics to test the proposed hypotheses. According to the findings of this study, the calculated F of the output is 12.357 > 5.79, indicating that the length of the road and the number of vehicles have no significant effect on the growth of regional income in Aceh Tamiang Regency. In other words, the length of the road and the number of vehicles have no significant effect on employment opportunities in the Aceh Tamiang Regency, as determined by the F test

Abstract

Employees at PT XXX found several problems, namely indications of a lack of employee work engagement with the company. There is employee rotation/mutation in line with changes in the organizational structure, whether they like it or not, employees have to accept it and there are delays in employee promotions because they have to meet new requirements in accordance with new regulations. This problem is due to changes in organizational culture which means the company is in a period of adaptation. This phenomenon is also supported by the low sense of enthusiasm for work and the low enthusiasm that makes people want to be involved in company activities. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of flexibility, self-efficacy and job satisfaction on the work engagement of PT XXX employees. The population in this study numbered under 100 people, namely 85 people, so the entire population will be used as a saturated sample. The results of this research are 1) Work flexibility partially has a positive and significant effect on work engagement of PT XXX employees. 2) Self-efficacy partially has a positive and significant effect on work engagement of PT XXX employees. 3) Job satisfaction partially has a positive and significant effect on the work engagement of PT XXX employees. 3) Work flexibility, self-efficacy and job satisfaction simultaneously influence employee work engagement.

Abstract

Professional and qualified employees will form high performance, both individually and in groups so that it has an impact on the effectiveness of the organization as a whole. The problem is how to create employees who can produce optimal performance so that organizational goals can be achieved. This study aims to determine the effect of employee competence, environment, and work motivation on employee performance at PT PLN (Persero) North Sumatra Main Development Unit. To determine the effect of employee competence, environment, and work motivation on the performance of employees of PT PLN (Persero) North Sumatra Development Main Unit, the population of this study was all employees of PT PLN (Persero) North Sumatra Main Development Unit, totaling 241 people while the sample was 150 people. Given the characteristics of employees who tend to be uniform, the sampling is done by random sampling method. The test results show that there is a positive and significant effect of competence, environment, and work motivation on employee performance. There is a positive and significant influence on employee performance, it means that competence, environment, and work motivation have an influence on employee performance both simultaneously and partially.
