Abstract

Maritime safety has been a primary concern for the Indonesian government since 1978 through the Minister of Transportation Decision No. KM. 53/OT/PHB-78. The formulation of Maritime Safety Improvement policies is carried out by identifying the phenomena regarding the urgency of improving maritime safety for the sustainability of both national and international shipping, grounded in legal products. The policy foundation is derived from three aspects: Maritime Safety Aspect, Manpower Management Aspect, and Education and Training Aspect. The result of this policy formulation gives birth to a new policy product, namely the Functional Sea Transportation Technical Training implemented by the Sea Transportation Education and Training Center (BP2TL). This research is a Policy Evaluation study using a qualitative approach by exploring three research focuses: the policy program's background, program objectives, and program targets. Data acquisition for the research is done through interview techniques, documentary studies, and literature reviews.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the level of students ' understanding of Intellectual Property Rights( IPR), the implementation of IPR protection policies in universities, as well as their impact on technological innovation and learning outcomes. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with students, lecturers, and university managers. The results showed that students ' understanding of IPR, particularly related to licensing agreements, was still limited, although involvement in research projects increased their awareness. Universities already have IPR protection policies, but their implementation still faces obstacles such as complicated regulations, limited resources, and lack of administrative support. IPR protection is proven to encourage students to innovate, increase motivation, and research competence and their legal literacy. The study recommends improving IPR literacy through formal education, the establishment of IPR-specific units at universities, and collaboration between universities, governments, and industry sectors to support the protection of Student Innovation.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to foster entrepreneurial interest among Indonesian Migrant Workers (IMWs) in South Korea through digital technology-based entrepreneurship training. The activity was conducted offline on July 13, 2025, at the Wongok Community Center in Ansan, South Korea, involving 21 participants (16 males and 5 females) with an average age of 25.95 years. The training employed an interactive and group discussion-based approach, designed to stimulate participants’ interest and equip them with fundamental knowledge of digital entrepreneurship. The results indicated a high level of entrepreneurial interest and motivation among the participants, as reflected in an overall average score of 4.55 out of 5. Most participants expressed a strong desire to become entrepreneurs and to deepen their understanding of the entrepreneurial world. Their primary motivations for starting a business included meeting market needs, achieving personal ownership, generating employment, and obtaining financial gain. However, challenges in starting a business included a lack of ideas, limited business knowledge, high risk factors, and capital constraints. These findings highlight the need for follow-up training focusing on business idea development, business planning, and risk management. This program holds significant implications for empowering IMWs through innovation, technology-based training, and the sustainable development of entrepreneurial capacities.   Abstrak Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan minat berwirausaha Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) di Korea Selatan melalui pelatihan kewirausahaan teknologi digital. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara luring pada 13 Juli 2025 di Wongok Community Center, Ansan, Korea Selatan, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 21 orang (16 laki-laki dan 5 perempuan), berusia rata-rata 25,95 tahun. Metode pelatihan menggabungkan pendekatan interaktif dan berbasis diskusi kelompok, yang dirancang untuk membangkitkan minat serta membekali peserta dengan pengetahuan dasar kewirausahaan digital. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa para peserta memiliki minat dan motivasi yang sangat tinggi terhadap kewirausahaan, tercermin dari skor rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 4,55 (dari skor maksimal 5). Sebagian besar peserta juga menyatakan keinginan kuat untuk menjadi pengusaha dan belajar lebih dalam mengenai kewirausahaan. Motivasi utama peserta dalam memulai usaha adalah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar, menciptakan kepemilikan pribadi, serta menyediakan lapangan kerja dan memperoleh keuntungan finansial. Namun, hambatan yang dihadapi dalam memulai usaha meliputi kurangnya ide, pengetahuan bisnis, serta faktor risiko dan keterbatasan modal. Temuan ini menunjukkan perlunya pelatihan lanjutan yang berfokus pada pengembangan ide usaha, perencanaan bisnis, dan manajemen risiko. Program ini memiliki implikasi penting dalam memberdayakan PMI melalui inovasi, pelatihan berbasis teknologi, dan pembangunan kapasitas kewirausahaan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) bagi guru kimia di Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) kimia Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Daerah Ibu Kota Jakarta melalui implementasi augmented reality terintegrasi dengan virtual reality. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini mencakup Focus Group Discussion (FGD), sesi pelatihan dan workshop, serta evaluasi program. Hasil evaluasi tentang pengetahuan media digital menunjukkan bahwa nilai post-test adalah 85,83 atau terdapat kenaikan nilai sebesar 16,25 point dibandingkan sebelum pelatihan. Sebanyak 93,2% peserta memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap program pelatih ini. Penilaian TPACK peserta menunjukkan bahwa pada aspek Technological Knowledge (TK) diperoleh skor di atas 75%, pada aspek Content Knowledge (CK) diperoleh skor sebesar 78%, dan pada aspek Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) dperoleh skor di atas 75%. Integrasi ketiga aspek (TK, PK, dan CK) dalam bentuk TPACK diperoleh penilaian maksimal sebesar 85,7%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan teknologi media digital  berbasis AR dan VR sangat relevan dan potensial untuk diterapkan dalam meningkatkan TPACK guru-guru kimia. ABSTRACT This community service activity aims to enhance the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) of chemistry teachers in the Chemistry Subject Teacher Forum (MGMP) at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) in the Jakarta Capital Region through the implementation of augmented reality integrated with virtual reality. The methods applied in this program included Focus Group Discussions (FGD), training and workshop sessions, as well as program evaluation. The evaluation results on digital media knowledge showed that the post-test score was 85.83, indicating an increase of 16.25 points compared to the pre-test. A total of 93.2% of participants gave positive responses to the training program. The TPACK assessment revealed that participants scored above 75% in the Technological Knowledge (TK) aspect, 78% in the Content Knowledge (CK) aspect, and above 75% in the Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) aspect. The integration of these three aspects (TK, PK, and CK) into TPACK resulted in a maximum score of 85.7%. These findings demonstrate that digital media technology based on AR and VR is highly relevant and has strong potential to be applied in enhancing the TPACK of chemistry teachers.
