Abstract

The efforts of increasing growth, development and productivity of red onionthrough fertilization. Organic and inorganic fertilizers are used. This combination of fertilizers is expected to increase the growth of shallots, because the functions as a nutrient source and it is able to improve the physical and biological properties of the land.The study was conducted on the experimental field of the Agriculture Faculty University of Riau on February until April 2018. A randomized block design with two factors are used in this study. The first factor was 4 levels of biourine (control, 200 ml.l-1, 250ml.l-1, and 300 ml.l-1).The second factor was 4 levels of potassium(control, 36kg K2O.ha-1, 54kgK2O.ha-1, and 72kgK2O.ha-1). The parameters that were observed such as leaf length, number of leaves, number of tubers, tubers, fresh weight of tubers per clump, fresh weight of tubers per plot, tuber weight worth keeping. The result showed that there were interaction between biourin and potassium on fresh weight parameters per plot and fresh weight worth keeping per plot. The main factor treatment of biourin has significant effect through all of parameters that were observed. The main factor treatment of potassium fertilizer has a significant effect through all of observational parameters except on the parameters of the number of tubers.The combination of good treatment were obtained from the treatment of biourin and potassium at a concentration of 250 ml.l-1 at a dose of 72 kg K2O.ha-1. Keywords:Biourin, Potassium, Red Onion (Allium ascalonicum L.

Abstract

Bangunan hunian bertingkat tinggi seharusnya merespon iklim tropis di fasadbangunan. Respon tersebut dapat digunakan melalui penggunaan elemen pelindungsecara vertikal maupun horisontal untuk merespon panas matahari dan curah hujan yangtinggi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Rusunawa Tambora, Jakarta Barat. Elemen pelindung dibangunan ini dianggap belum memenuhi kebutuhan penghuni. Paper ini mengekplorasibentuk elemen pelindung terhadap sinar matahari dan curah hujan, persepsi penghuni,serta bentuk elemen pelindung yang sesuai terhadap kondisi iklim tropis. Metode yangdigunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriftif dengan objek penelitian adalah tiraihorisontal dan vertikal. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survey, observasi, danwawancara yang didukung dengan studi pustaka terhadap 10 unit hunian sebagai sampelpenelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa balkon dan teritisan sebagai elemenpelindung di selubung bangunan menurut persepsi penghuni belum merespon panas dancurah hujan. Bentuk elemen pelindung yang paling mendukung kenyaman penghuni diorientasi timur /barat adalah dak teritisan dengan sirip vertikal di bagian depan. Di unityang berorientasi ke utara /selatan, bentuk elemen yang paling sesuai adalah dakteritisan.

Abstract

Peatland fires are a recurring phenomenon and become the biggest problem in peatland protection in Indonesia. Generally, peatlands in the dry season have limited water availability that may cause drought and fire. On the other hand, in the rainy season, the water in the canals is excessive that may cause floods. To overcome this problem, canal blocking should be made. This research simulates the water profile along the canal by hydraulic modeling using HEC-RAS to understand the effectiveness of canal blocking. Canal blocking at Sungai Tohor village was picked up as research site for modelling. The calibration process, this study used discharge measurements data that was measured repeatedly at dry season and rainy season. The modeling was simulated on several scenarios in the dry and rainy season with the goal of ground water depth was not lower thans 40 cm. The results of this study indicate the application of the hydraulic model at the calibration stage obtained values of R = 0.9981 and RMSE = 0.02503, Manning's coefficient of roughness was taken as 0.04. The model can predict well the water profile along the canal if the conditions without canal blocking or canal blocking conditions are in the dry season and the rainy season.

Abstract

Abstract : Based on the researcher’s of Student In class V Of SDN 001 Air Tiris Kampar District, research found the result of long jump the student in class V of SDN 001 Air Tiris was not optimal yet. Evident from learning outcomes still below average or below standars that class rise to minimal completeness criteria. The purpose of this research is to see The correlation of explosive power leg muscles with the long jump results with squat style of student in class V Of SDN 001 Air Tiris Kampar District. Population in this research is all students in class V of SDN 001 Air Tiris amount 63 people, 33 male students and 30 female students. Based on population that is not so large and within the limits the researchers set the whole population is used as a sample. The research sample as many as 63 people. Research instrument used standing board jump test and long jump test with squat style. Data were analyzed by product moment correlation. Based on research results, it can be concluded as follows : Shows that there is correlation of explosive power leg muscle with the long jump results with squat style of male student which shows correlation rxy > rtabel(0,506>0,347) and there is correlation of explosive power leg muscle with the long jump results with squat style of female student which shows correlation rxy > rtabel(0,521>0,367)Key word : explosive power leg muscles, long jump.

Abstract

Pembangunan Bank Sampah menjadi titik awal untuk membina kesadaran masyarakat untuk memulai memilah, mendaur-ulang, dan memanfaatkan sampah, karena sampah mempunyai nilai jual yang cukup baik, sehingga pengelolaan sampah yang berwawasan lingkungan menjadi budaya baru Indonesia. Sampah saat ini masih menjadi penyebab utama dari pencemaran lingkungan, akar dari permasalahan ini adalah masyarakat yang tidak dibiasakan untuk bertanggung jawab terhadap sampahnya sendiri. Masyarakat selalu menganggap bahwa pengolahan sampah sepenuhnya menjadi tanggung jawab dari pemerintah. Karang Taruna Unit Rw 07 Sudah menyediakan bank sampah namun masih menggunakannya dengan cara manual yaitu hanya dengan menggunakan pencatatan di buku dan belum memanfaatkan sistem informasi berbasis teknologi, oleh sebab itu untuk masalah yang sedang dialami oleh masyarakat saat ini agar dapat memecahkan masalah tentang bank sampah yaitu dengan menciptakan sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web “E-Trash” ini bertujuan agar masyarakat sekitar mendapatkan informasi mengenai bank sampah dan menjadikan masyarakat yg peduli akan lingkungan. Dengan demikian bank sampah sangat menjadi peran penting untuk menanggulangi sampah rumah tangga yang semakin hari semakin menumpuk di TPS (Tempat Pembuangan Sementara) dan di TPA (Tempat Pembuangan Akhir), ini bertujuan agar menjadikan lingkungan masyarakat menjadi lebih bersih dan sehat. Abstract

This study aim was to determine the effect of washing and raw materials on frozen storage on the quality of surimi and kamaboko from raw material of tilapia (Oreochromis sp). There were three types of raw materials used, namely minced fish, surimi, and surimi with addition of sorbitol, with three washing treatments and four weeks frozen storage period observed every week. The method used consisted of measurements of pH, water content, bite test, and folding test. Then the results obtained for the best kamaboko tilapia (Oreochromis sp) were obtained from fillet raw materials compared to the raw material of Minced fish and raw materials of Minced Fish + Sorbitol, with a frequency of washing once and frozen storage for 3 weeks.

Abstract

Online marketing training is given to the fishermen groups of Karang Baru and Fisheries Vocational School Nasyrul Ulum Aeng Dake covering about the theory of marketing concepts, use of Web media and social media and online marketing-based governance. Community service is expected to be able to provide the ability of the community to package products into attractive packaging and the community can use marketing online so as to expand the reach of marketing, namely reaching regional and national areas. With the community service, it is expected to increase the economy of the seaweed grass cultivation community in Aeng Dake Subdistrict Seaweed Village. Community service activities are carried out by various methods, namely theoretical and practical training and assistance in online marketing media management activities. and practices aimed at students of the Nasyul Ulum Aeng Dake Vocational School of Fisheries Products Processing. The training provided was in the form of introducing various kinds of interesting packaging forms. The training activities continued on the direct practice of product packaging as well as presentations from student students regarding packaged products. The activity aimed at the Karang Baru fishermen group is in the form of assistance in making online marketing media, namely web and social media.

Abstract

Sargassum sp. is a brown algae (Phaeophyta) which contains fucoxanthin, i.e. a carotenoid pigment that can be developed as natural dyes. On the cheek coloring products (blusher), color is an important parameter that determines the consumer appeal. This study was carried out by extraction, purification, qualitative and quantitative analysis, making blusher preparation with addition of fucoxanthin pigment extract form Sargassum sp. of 4%, 5%, 6% and 7%, physical quality and antioxidant activity test in the best treatment. The results of this study indicated the application of fucoxanthin pigment extract from Sargassum sp. giving effect to the physical quality of blusher. This blusher preparation had good color homogeneity and almost the same particle size as the commercial blusher. It also had good color stability during 15 days of storage with a change in pH which increases between 8,32-9,34. The irritation reaction that occurred on 10 panelists were undetected and it had the highest hedonic value on blusher with the addition of 4% fucoxanthin. The best treatment in this study was blusher with 4% addition of fucoxanthin pigment extract. The 4% treatment had good homogeneity and color stability. The skin irritation was undetected, it had the most neutral pH value or matches with physiological pH value of the skin and had a moderate antioxidant activity with an IC50 value of 123,66 μg/mL and blusher had a shape like small chunks with a mean size of 36,79 μm in SEM analysis.

Abstract

Hairtail fish (Trichiurus savala) is potential to have a rapid deterioration due to the high water and protein content in the body of the fish. One of the efforts to prevent or slow down the deterioration of layur fish is by freezing treatment. The freezing process also cannot be completely avoided from the emergence of potential hazards, therefore a way to prevent or suppress potential hazards is needed by applying the Critical Control Point (CCP). The descriptive method with data collection including primary and secondary data was used in this study. The freezing process of layur fish at PT Pan Putra Samudra starts from receiving, sorting, weighting, labelling, washing, wrapping with plastic and arranging in cartons, freezing, packaging, and frozen storage. The stages determined as CCP in the freezing of layur fish are in the sorting stage. At the sorting stage, quality checking is performed including organoleptic and microbiological tests. It also checks physical hazards such as hooks and nets. The sorting stage is determined as CCP because in the next stage it cannot prevent or reduce the potential danger that exists in fish. Fish that have gone through quality checking and exceeding the threshold will be put in a special fish reject basket.

Abstract

Pemberlakuan pembelajaran jarak jauh di SMA/MA khsususya Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah memiliki berbagai kendala. Salah satunya masih minimnya ketersediaan bahan ajar yang dapat menunjang siswa belajar secara mandiri maupun terbimbing secara daring. Selain itu, tuntutan mutu yang ditetapkan pemerintah harus dicapai melalui proses pembelajaran. Sehingga selain materi yang mudah dipahami oleh siswa juga harus dapat menumbuhkembangkan kemampuan berpikir siswa salah satunya higher order thinking skills. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan empat tahapan, yaitu: (1) tahap perencanaan, (2) tahap pelaksanaan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini siswa kela X.1 SMA Negeri Bengkulu Tengah yaitu sebanyak 24 orang siswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes untuk mengukur higher order thinking skills siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa higher order thinking skills siswa meningkat pada setiap siklus dimana nilai rata-rata III>siklus II >siklus dengan rata-rata di atas KKM. Peningkatan ditunjukkan dari rata-rata HOTS siswa sebesar 32,71 pada pra siklus menjadi 48,12 pada siklus I, sebesar 67,50 pada siklus II, dan 74,50 pada siklus III. Ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 74,50% pada akhir siklus.Peningkatan dilakukan dengan penekanan pada tagihan tugas, soal latihan HOTS, dan pembentuk grup belajar online.
