Abstract

Tool path generation is very important to optimal time and cost of the production process of product. This research purpose is to analyze tool path generation and production cost of disc brake for roughing and finishing work on die casting product. This research was used the Taguchi method and simulation using by Software Mastercam 2020 (CNC Milling). The simulation result was obtained the estimates time for each variable that was tested. Then it can be analyzed the cost of production to obtaining the efficient tool path in the manufacturing of disc brake. This research was resulted a dynamic tool path in facing with face mill’s tool for roughing process with a spindle speed of 2,825 rpm, the feed rate of 2,373 mm/minute, and depth of cut of 0.18 mm. The contour for roughing process with a spindle speed was 10,743 rpm, the feed rate of 4,673 mm/minute, and depth of cut 0.8 mm. Then the finishing process for facing with end mills’s tool produces a dynamic toolpath with a spindle speed of 11,937 rpm, the feed rate of 8,595 mm/minute, and depth of cut of 0.05 mm. The finishing process for drilling produces a chip break toolpath with a spindle speed was 6,565 rpm and feed rate of 788 mm/minute. Finally the contour for finishing process with a spindle speed was 11,937 rpm, feed rate of 8,595 mm/minute, and depth of cut of 0.25 mm. Therefore, the final simulation was produced 7.2975 minutes for time of production, so the total of production cost was Rp 74,056/product. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Indonesian language learning in class 4B of SDN 060877 Medan, with a focus on curriculum flexibility and challenges in meeting students' needs. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Independent Curriculum provides flexibility for teachers in adjusting teaching methods and materials according to students' needs. Teachers can adapt a more contextual, creative, and innovative approach. However, the main obstacles found were students who were not yet fluent in reading, lack of motivation to learn, and minimal support from the family environment. To overcome this, teachers apply differentiated learning strategies, use of appropriate teaching modules, and interactive methods to improve students' literacy skills. In addition, additional assistance is provided for students who have difficulty understanding the material. Despite facing various challenges, the Independent Curriculum is still considered more effective in supporting the achievement of students' competencies optimally, especially in improving their understanding and literacy skills. With support from various parties, it is hoped that learning will be of better quality and in accordance with students' needs.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires various business sectors, including coffee shops, to adopt systems that improve operational efficiency and service quality. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a strategic solution to integrate various business processes centrally. However, the wide variety of ERP options with different features and costs necessitates an appropriate evaluation method to select the system that best fits business needs. This study uses the Multi-Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP) method to assist coffee shops in choosing the best ERP technology based on criteria such as cost, features, user-friendliness, security, and technical support. The results indicate that Odoo ERP is the recommended option due to its modularity, ease of use, cost flexibility, and adequate community and technical support. Proper ERP implementation is expected to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and competitiveness of coffee shop businesses in an increasingly competitive market.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively evaluate the readiness of basic school infrastructure to support the implementation of the Adiwiyata Program at SDN 101771, with a focus on the development of environmentally friendly schools and environmental education. This study collected data using a qualitative descriptive method by conducting in-depth interviews with the Principal, observing school activities and infrastructure directly. The results of the study indicate that the basic infrastructure of SDN 101771 is still in the development stage and several significant challenges have been encountered. One of the main obstacles is the limited environmental facilities, such as inadequate trash bins and little green space outside. More intensive education and training are also needed to address students' low environmental awareness. To improve the success of the Adiwiyata program, school management plays an important role in planning, managing, and collaborating with external parties. Active participation of all students, strong support from the government, and the sustainability of this program are very important. Therefore, this study provides suggestions for improving school infrastructure, increasing public awareness of the environment, and increasing collaboration between schools and related parties.

Abstract

Setiap karyawan pasti ingin dinobatkan sebagai karyawan berprestasi, tapi semua itu tidak akan terlepas dari tahap-tahap penilaian. Kantor Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan awalnya melakukan penilaian karyawan berprestasi hanya berdasarkan pada pemantauan hasil kerja karyawan dan lamanya karyawan bekerja di kantor tersebut. Keputusan seseorang bisa salah karena proses pemilihan karyawan berdasarkan subjektifitas. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sistem pendukung keputusan untuk proses pemilihan karyawan tersebut. Sistem pendukung keputusan ini dapat menentukan nilai perhitungan terhadap semua kriteria. Sistem ini menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Metode ini merupakan suatu metode yang mencari penjumlahan terbobot. Pada studi kasus kantor Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, terdapat empat kriteria yaitu kedisiplinan, spiritual, sosial, kerapian. Dalam hal ini untuk menentukan karyawan berprestasi dilakukan dengan cara penjumlahan bobot dari rating kinerja pada setiap alternatif untuk semua atribut. Nilai yang lebih besar akan mengindikasikan bahwa alternatif lebih terpilih. Pada kasus tersebut metode SAW ini dapat menentukan karyawan berprestasi berdasarkan nilai tertinggi. Every employee would want to be named an outstanding employee, but all of that will not be separated from the assessment stages. The Office of Dinas Perhubungan of Pesisir Selatan district initially conducted an employee performance assessment based solely on monitoring the employee's work and the length of time the employee worked at the office. Someone's decision can be wrong because the employee selection process is based on subjectivity. Therefore we need a decision support system for the employee selection process. This decision support system can determine the calculated value against all criteria. This system uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This method is a method that looks for weighted summation. In the case study of Dinas Perhubungan of Pesisir Selatan district, there are four criteria, namely disciplinary, spiritual, social, neatness. In this case, to determine the outstanding employee is done by adding the weight of the performance rating on each alternative for all attributes. A larger value will indicate that an alternative is preferred. In that case, the SAW method can determine the employee's achievement based on the highest score.

Abstract

This study examine the exposure, usage, and preferences of primary school teacher education students toward Generative AI (GenAI) applications, as well as the relationship between demographic characteristics and participation in AI-related training and seminars. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, with 155 respondents using a closed-ended questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and chi-square tests. The results show that ChatGPT is the most popular and frequently used application, followed by Google Gemini and Perplexity AI. No significant relationship was found between gender or semester and participation in AI-related events. These findings reflect students’ early engagement with GenAI technologies in education.

Abstract

This community service activity provided intensive assistance to teachers at SDN 101768 Tembung in developing a digital mathematics question bank based on a Learning Management System (LMS). A total of 13 classroom teachers actively participated in a series of training sessions covering curriculum-aligned question design, introduction to LMS features, and hands-on practice in uploading and managing items on a digital platform. All participants showed improved skills in designing technology-based assessments and began applying the outcomes of the training in their teaching practices. The activity fostered a positive shift in assessment practices at the primary school level and demonstrated that targeted mentoring can serve as a starting point for digital transformation in education.
