Abstract

The issuance of the 100 / PUU-XIII / 2015 Constitutional CourtDecision giving birth to Law Number 10 of 2016 concerning the Establishment ofGovernment Regulations in lieu of Law Number 1 of 2014 concerning Election ofGovernors, Regents and Mayors to Act -Well. In Article 54C paragraph (1,2 and3) it is stated that regional head elections with a single candidate may be carriedout with stipulated provisions. According to the author's assumptions, the articleopens the opportunity for a single candidate to increase. In fact, the constitutionin Article 18 paragraph (4) of the 1945 Constitution has mandated democraticregional elections. Thus, the election of regional heads with a single candidatecan lead to the degradation of democratic values adopted by Indonesia. So, in thisstudy produce two main and very important things that can be concluded. First,the implications of the emergence of a single candidate in the regional headelections simultaneously in the perspective of democracy in Indonesia. Second,the idea of preventing the emergence of a single candidate in regional headelections simultaneously in a democratic perspective.This type of research is normative legal research, because in this study,the authors conducted a literature study, In addition, the author also conductedresearch on the principles and rules of law contained in the law thataccommodate this research. This is done to explain the legal theories relating toregional head elections and carried out with a single candidate, especially in theIndonesian state that adheres to the principle of democracyAuthor's suggestion; First, for legislators to revise the law onsimultaneous regional head elections and related regulations so as not to create asingle candidate, especially reducing the percentage threshold that must be metby political parties. Second, it requires political parties to carry out politicalregeneration for members of political parties in an effort to prepare a generationof qualified leaders. Political parties must carry out political education onsociety, and political socialization so that the public knows who the candidateswill be from the political party.Keywords: Single Candidates, Regional Head Elections, Democracy.

Abstract

This correlational study explains the relationship between reading habits and essay writing abilities in 3rd semester students in the Essay Writing course. This research, which was conducted at a state Islamic religious institution in Indonesia, used a purposive sampling technique for English Language Education students using a quantitative approach using tests and evaluations based on essay rubrics from the international reading association NCTE for data collection. The normality test shows a non-normal distribution of the reading and writing variables. Shows a weak negative correlation between reading habits and essay writing ability. This discussion emphasizes the importance of understanding the different relationships between these variables, challenging common beliefs and encouraging further exploration in this area. These findings contribute to existing knowledge, indicating that in this study, reading habits did not have a significant effect on essay writing ability.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of English textbooks for special purposes, particularly in the context of learning English for education. The content analysis method was used to evaluate the textbook with a focus on its purpose, content, methodology, and practical aspects. The results of the analysis showed strengths in purpose, approach, design and organization, as well as language aspects such as vocabulary and grammar. However, there were weaknesses in content coverage and integration of important components such as grammar and pronunciation. The implication is that this study emphasizes the importance of textbook evaluation to ensure the quality and effectiveness of learning, by adapting the materials to learners' needs and integrating methodologies that are in line with the latest educational developments.

Abstract

In the current globalized world, learning English is essential for teachers and students in Indonesia to develop effective teaching strategies. Engaging edducational media, like diorama, can increase students' comprehension and focus when learning English. This community outreach is being carried out at MI Fathul Jannah to promote the use of dioramas in English language instruction. The method that is used is called "Service Learning," which involves observation, execution, and assessment. This activity involves discussion and debate about family members as well as interactive activities like spelling bees, translation, and matching features. The results indicate an increase in the understanding of kosakata, teamwork, and self-awareness among the learners in English. Even if there are time constraints, using a diorama as an innovative and interactive teaching tool works very well. This exercise is intended to serve as a guide for teachers to adopt the method.

Abstract

This community service initiative responds to issues related to listening skills and adopts a planned approach to achieve optimal learning goals. The focus of this intervention is on introducing an innovative method called "Savanna Melody," with the aim of enhancing children's listening abilities through a musical approach. The primary objective of the service activity is to make a positive contribution by increasing the interest and understanding of English among children. The implementation method involves interactive sessions that integrate audio and visual elements. The observed impacts include increased active participation and comprehension of the material, indicating the potential for fundamental changes in the English language learning approach within the context of the school.

Abstract

Real work lecture is one of the activities that aims to increase student participation in assisting community development, especially in the social and religious fields. This article discusses efforts to optimize social and religious activities in Muara Laung II Village through the KKN program. This activity involves students in various work programs and religious guidance in accordance with the needs of the local community. The results of this program show an increase in community participation in social and religious activities, an improvement in the quality of life, and an awareness of the importance of developing local potential. Optimization of this activity is expected to become a sustainable model of village community empowerment, with a positive impact on the social and spiritual welfare of the Muara Laung II community.

Abstract

This research is based on the low learning outcomes of students in learning Jurisprudence in class IX-6 semester 2 of the 2021/2022 academic year at MTsN 2 Kota Bima, on the material Debts, mortgages and hiwaalah. One alternative technique to improve learning outcomes is the quiz technique. The purpose of this study was to get an overview of the goals regarding improving learning outcomes through meticulous techniques on debt, mortgage and hiwaalah materials in class IX-6 students in semester 2 of the 2021/2022 academic year at MTsN 2 Kota Bima. This type of research is classroom action research carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The data obtained in this study were the results of cycle I and cycle II tests. From the results of this research action, it can be seen from the class average value before the study of 60.50 in cycle I to 71.50, an increase in cycle II of 80.50. This average value already meets the criteria for research success on an average point of learning completeness of 70. For the proportion of classical completeness of a number of 20 students from before the research was 45.00%, in cycle I became 65.00%, increased in cycle II of 85.00%. This value already meets the research completeness criteria at the point of limiting the proportion of classical learning mastery of 70%. So from all the implementation of action research activities in class IX-6 semester 2 of the 2021/2022 school year at MTsN 2 Kota Bima, it can be concluded that through meticulous techniques can improve student learning outcomes in the subject matter of debts, mortgages and hiwaalah in class IX- 6 semesters 2 of the 2021/2022 academic year at MTsN 2 Kota Bima.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group To Group Exchange (GGE) mata pelajaran Fikih pada siswa kelas IX MTsN 2 Kota Bima. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subyek siswa kelas IX MTsN 2 Kota Bima dengan jumlah 40 orang. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes hasil belajar untuk mendapatkan data kuantitatif dan lembar observasi untuk mendapatkan data kualitatif. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan hasil refleksi awal sebelum dilaksanakan tindakan dengan rata-rata pada siklus I dapat dikatakan belum cukup atau masih kurang, yaitu sebesar 73,80 kemudian meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 85,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa; (1) Penerapan Model pembelajaran tipe Group To Group Exchange (GGE) menjadi salah satu pilihan terbaik dalam memotivasi minat peserta didik. (2) Penerapan Model pembelajaran tipe Group To Group Exchange (GGE) menjadikan pembelajaran yang terarah dan inovatif. (3) Penerapan Model pembelajaran tipe Group To Group Exchange (GGE) dapat meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran peserta didik sehingga menunjukkan perubahan sikap siswa untuk lebih peduli dan kreatif terhadap suasana pembelajaran.

Abstract

Ketercapaian tujuan pelajaran tak lepas dari peran seorang guru. Guru wajib dapat menjadi motivator bagi para muridnya, sehingga potensi mereka berkembang maksimal. Guru wajib dapat mewujudkan iklim kelas yang kondusif dalam mengemukakan materi pelajaran karena guru yang kreatif akan lebih dapat mengelola kelasnya sehingga pencapaian siswa dapat maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara meningkatkan semangat dan prestasi siswa melewati contoh cooperative learning variasi STAD (Student Team Achievement Division). Penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Resarch). Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IX-2 MTsN 2 Kota Bima tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan semangat belajar secara signifikan. Persentase semangat belajar siswa pada prasiklus sebesar 26%, siklus I pertemuan I sebesar 30%, pertemuan II naik menjadi 59%. Siklus II pertemuan I naik menjadi 60% kemudian pada pertemuan II menjadi 78%. Siklus III pertemuan I naik menjadi 79% dan pada pertemuan II naik menjadi 85%. Prestasi belajar siswa yang didapatkan pada siklus I pertemuan I sebesar 84,2%, pertemuan ke II naik menjadi 88,1%. Tetapi pada siklus II pertemuan I turun menjadi 85,1%, pertemuan II turun secara signifikan menjadi 62,9%. Siklus III pertemuan I penggunaan cooperative learning variasi STAD ditingkatkan kembali sehingga persentase yang didapatkan naik menjadi 97,8% dan pada pertemuan II naik menjadi 98,4%. Penerapan contoh cooperative learning variasi STAD dapat meningkatkan semangat dan prestasi dengan melakukan modifikasi dalam hal; penggunaan media yang menarik, pengontrolan tempat duduk, dan strategi pengelolaan kelas yang efektif.
