This community service program aims to empower housewives in the Villa Paus Indah Complex, Tangkerang Tengah Village, Pekanbaru, through training in innovative food processing techniques based on cassava leaves (Manihot esculenta). Cassava leaves, rich in nutritional value such as protein, fiber, and vitamins, remain underutilized in many households. This program focuses on processing cassava leaves into marketable food products, such as rolade, jerky, and perkedel, which not only provide health benefits but also have significant economic potential. This program is designed to address the lack of knowledge and skills among housewives in processing cassava leaves into value-added products. The training covers simple processing techniques, packaging, production cost management, and marketing strategies through social media and community networks. Participants, members of the Program Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) within the community, are expected to acquire new skills that can improve their families' economic independence and contribute to food security. This training not only aims to increase household income but also empowers women by strengthening their role in community development. By utilizing local resources such as cassava leaves, which are readily available and easily cultivated, the program promotes sustainable practices and opens up opportunities for home businesses. Expected outcomes include nutritious food products, increased family income, and the development of sustainable micro-enterprises in the community.
