Abstract

Kondisi lahan – lahan di Indonesia pada umumnya sangat rendah kandungan bahan organiknya.  Pemanfaatan azolla sebagai pupuk organik  akan menghemat penggunaan pupuk anorganik disamping menjaga keseimbangan hara dalam tanah, ditinjau dari segi komposisi kimia, azolla dapat memperkaya unsur hara makro dan mikro dalam tanah. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan mendapatkan bentuk Azolla microphylla basah atau Azolla microphylla kering yang terbaik dalam mengefesiensi pupuk urea terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman sawi. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial dengan 12 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 4 tanaman dan 2 tanaman sebagai sampel : A1= Dosis N 25 % (0,25 g/polybag) + Tanpa Azolla, A2= Dosis N 25 % (0,25 g/ polybag)  + Azolla segar (23,8 g/polybag), A3= Dosis N 25 % (0,25 g/ polybag)  + Azolla kering (12,4 g/polybag), A4= Dosis N 50 % (0,5 g/ polybag)  + Tanpa Azolla, A5= Dosis N 50 % (0,5 g/ polybag)  + Azolla segar (17,85 g/polybag), A6= Dosis N 50 % (0,5 g/ polybag)  + Azolla kering (9,3 g/polybag), A7= Dosis N 75 % (0,75 g/ polybag)  + Tanpa Azolla, A8 = Dosis N 75 % (0,75 g/ polybag)  + Azolla segar (11,9 g/polybag), A9= Dosis N 75 % (0,75 g/ polybag)  + Azolla kering (6,2 g/polybag), A10= Dosis N 100 % (1 g/ polybag)  + Tanpa Azolla, A11= Dosis N 100 % (1 g/ polybag)  + Azolla segar (5,95 g/polybag), A12= Dosis N 100 % (1 g/ polybag)  + Azolla kering (3,1 g/polybag). Hasil penelitian disimpulkan; Hasil rerata sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan kombinasi  Azolla mycrophylla segar dan pupuk urea  serta Azolla mycrophylla kering dan pupuk urea berpengaruh nyata pada seluruh parameter pengamatan. Perlakuan terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan A2 yaitu dosis N 25% (0,25 g/polybag) + Azolla mycrophylla segar (23,8 g/polybag).

Abstract

Jamur tiram dapat mendatangkan keuntungan maupun kerugian. Ada beberapa jenis jamur yang bisa diolah menjadi aneka makanan lezat. Bahkan, jamur juga bisa menjadi bagian dalam pembuatan obat tradisional. Salah satunya adalah jamur tiram yang akhir-akhir ini banyak dilirik. Jamur yang berwarna putih ini juga dikenal dengan sebutan Shimeji (Jepang), Abalon Mushroom atau Ayster Mushrom (Eropa atau Amerika) dan Supa Liat (Jawa Barat). Jamur ini kandungan gizinya cukup tinggi sehingga cocok bagi yang sedang diet. Umumnya petani jamur tiram menjual jamur dalam keadaan segar. Saat ini belum banyak di Pekanbaru yang menjual jamur yang telah diolah walaupun secara finansial menjual setelah diolah jauh lebih menguntungkan dibanding dengan dijual segar. Dari survey dan wawancara langsung dengan penduduk setempat dapat diketahui bahwa mereka belum mempunyai pengetahuan tentang teknik pengolahan jamur untuk dijadikan berbagai macam jenis penganan. Pengetahuan mereka hanya sebatas disayur atau ditumis biasa, bahkan mereka sudah bosan dengan tumisan jamur. Karena masih banyaknya warga yang belum mengetahui bagaimana cara pengolahan jamur tiram , maka pengabdian kepada masyarakat kami kali ini akan mengulas tentang pengolahan jamur tiram.Tujuan dilakukannya pelatihan ini adalah agar mitra memperoleh pengetahuan pengolahan jamur tiram untuk dijadikan rendang, nugget, abon dan krispy jamur tiram.. Pengetahuan diberikan kepada mitra meliputi pengolahan jamur tiram menjadi nugget, rendang, abon dan krispy jamur tiram. Mitra diberikan pengetahuan tentang memproduksi produk olahan jamur tiram dengan kualitas yang lebih baik. Selain itu pengetahuan tentang peluang pasar produk juga diberikan kepada mitra. Adapun peningkatan pengetahuan pengolahan jamur tiram di olah menjadi nugget, rendang, abon dan krispy adalah 80%

Abstract

Maximizing the use of existing land is also an effort to increase income for farmers. When space becomes limited in starting a business / side business, using a bucket is considered the best solution, which is known as Budikdamber. The use of a bucket as a substitute for a pool is to saves space. The problems faced by partners are: lack of skills and knowledge regarding land optimization through Budikdamber technology. Regarding partner problems, a solution to the problem is needed, among others: increase partner knowledge and skills about budikdamber. The method of implementation includes material provision and practice of budikdamber. For the sustainability of this program the PKM team will carry out: monitoring and evaluation of program implementation and assistance. Based on the results of the team's monitoring and evaluation, the following conclusions can be drawn: participants' attendance in the socialization activities adjusted to government regulations during the Pandemic by following health protocols where participants were limited to only 5 people. Participants are very active during the activity, where participants show good enthusiasm during the discussion about the material given regarding the cultivation of azolla and fish in buckets, After the activities the partners have sufficient knowledge and understanding to carry out Budikdamber activities independently or in groups in the future in their respective homes. It is suggested that it is necessary to carry out further activities regarding cultivation and processing of fish into products that have high economic value.

Abstract

Garbage is one of the phenomena in Pekanbaru City. Almost in every housing on the roadside of Pekanbaru City, garbage piles up and causes discomfort. Handling waste is the task of the Pekanbaru city government that must be considered better. Most of the waste that becomes waste is organic waste. Based on the findings at the location, and based on the results of interviews conducted with the local community, data obtained that the local community has never received training to improve skills in the use of organic waste as an Eco-Enzym maker. This community dedication activity aims to obtain alternative natural products as hand sanitizers, disinfectants, and organic fertilizers during the COVID-19 pandemic and reduce the impact of environmental pollution. The implementation method begins with data and information collection, team and partner coordination, preparation stage and training activities for partners. Innovation and creativity in the manufacture of eco-enzymes are present as the best solution for housewives in processing organic waste into more useful products. Through this activity, it is hoped that housewives can be more creative and innovative in processing household waste in the future. The results of this activity showed that there was an increase in public knowledge about processing waste into more useful products such as eco-enzymes. The results of the questionnaires that were distributed showed that the increase in participants' knowledge increased by 100% after the training was carried out

Abstract

The largest area of  Keranji Guguh Village is designated for plantation land, as many as 463 plots with an area of  805.42 H of the 884 land parcels in Keranji Guguh Village with an area of  1,337.20 Ha (including rivers/lakes, roads, ditches). When viewed from the livelihoods of the people of Kampung Keranji Guguh, his profession is as a farmer or farm laborer. In development, human factors have a very important position and role, namely humans are development subjects who act as development actors to enjoy the development carried out. The ultimate goal is to increase the welfare of the community. According to the village head, in the near future, the lake in the village will be used as eco-tourism because the lake is on the side of the highway and there are many fish ponds in the lake. One of the ecotourism commodities that will be promoted is culinary made from fish in addition to other culinary delights. Currently, the PKK group of women from Keranji Guguh Village are facing the problem that they have not done processing made from fish because their knowledge and technology are still limited, which is caused by a lack of information about fish processing. After the training, there was an increase in knowledge of fish processing.

Abstract

People tend to throw garbage even though garbage has a fairly high economic value. Utilization of waste by separating organic and anorganic waste. Anorganic waste in the form of plastic, bottles, paper and others, can be stored in the form of money through a waste bank. Meanwhile, organic waste can be processed into compost. The community in Keranji Guguh Village did not yet have a Waste Bank. Waste Bank was established by means of each house sorting organic and anorganic waste, utilizing household domestic waste, by making Liquid Organic Fertilizer. The targets in this activity are housewives and the people of Kampung Keranji Guguh. The methods used are awareness, counseling, demonstration, and evaluation. There has been an increase in understanding of processing organic waste into Liquid Organic Fertilizer by 80% to 100%, with an average increase of 98%. The results of making Liquid Organic Fertilizer can be used for plant fertilizers, thereby reducing spending on buying fertilizer.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui luas lahan kelapa sawit dan jumlah ternak sapi yang dimiliki para petani kelapa sawit, total biaya, penerimaan, pendapatan bersih dan kelayakan usaha pada usahatani tersebut. Metode yang digunakan puporsive sampling. Populasi penelitian ditetapkan berdasarkan kriteria spesifik yaitu petani yang mengusahakan usaha ternak sapi dengan usahatani kelapa sawit. Petani yang dijadikan responden berjumlah 35 petani kelapa sawit yang juga mengusahakan usaha ternak sapi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan data pendapatan usahatani dan ternak sapi untuk mengetahui besaran pendapatan usahatani dan ternak sapi dalam 1 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukan luas lahan yang diusahakan petani pada pertanian terpadu di Kampung Delima Jaya Kecamatan Kerinci Kanan didominasi dengan luas lahan sebesar 3-4 hektar sebanyak 16 orang atau 45,71% sedangkan jumlah sapi yang dimiliki petani rata-rata didominasi 4-5 ekor sapi sebanyak 11 orang atau 31,42%. Total rata-rata biaya tetap usahatani terpadu berjumlah Rp 1.610.551,-/tahun. Total rata-rata biaya tidak tetap usahatani terpadu berjumlah Rp 53.813.873,-/tahun, yang terdiri dari biaya tidak tetap pada usahatani kelapa sawit sebesar Rp 23.409.588/tahun,- sedangkan untuk rata-rata biaya tidak tetap pada usaha ternak sapi sebesar Rp 30.404.285,-/tahun. Total rata-rata penerimaan usahatani terpadu berjumlah Rp 163.389.286,-/tahun, yang terdiri dari rata-rata penerimaan pada usahatani kelapa sawit sebesar Rp 123.649.286,-/tahun sedangkan untuk rata-rata penerimaan pada usaha ternak sapi sebesar Rp 39.740.000,-/tahun. Maka rata-rata pendapatan bersih yang diperoleh petani adalah sebesar Rp 91.383.564,-/tahun. R/C rasio-nya adalah 2,95 yang berarti bahwa usaha pertanian terpadu antara kelapa sawit dengan ternak sapi di Kampung Delima Jaya Kecamatan Kerinci Kanan Kabupaten Siak layak untuk dilanjutkan karena R/C rasio-nya >1.Kata kunci : Kelapa sawit, ternak sapi,  pendapatan,  R/C ratio.Oil Palm and Cattle Integrated Agricultural Income in Delima Jaya Village, Kerinci Kanan District, Siak RegencyABSTRACT. The purpose of this research was to find out the area of oil palm land and the number of cattle owned by oil palm farmers find out the total cost, revenue, net income and business feasibility of the farming. The method used is the purposive sampling method with the study population determined based on specific criteria, namely farmers who cultivate cattle with oil palm farming. The farmers who were used as respondents were 35 oil palm farmers who also worked in cattle farming. Analysis of the data used is using data analysis of farm and cattle income to determine the amount of farm and cattle income in 1 year. The results showed that the area of land cultivated by farmers in integrated farming in Delima Jaya Village, Kerinci Kanan District was dominated by 16 people or 45,71% of the land area of 3-4 hectares, while the average number of cows owned by farmers was dominated by 4-5 cows. as many as 11 people or 31,42%. The average total fixed cost of integrated farming is Rp 1.610.551,-/year. The average total variable variable cost of integrated farming is Rp 53.813.873,-/year, which consists of variable costs in oil palm farming of Rp 23.409.588,-/year, while the average variable cost in the cattle business in the amount of Rp 30.404.285,-/year. The total average income for integrated farming is Rp 163.389.286/year, which consists of an average income for oil palm farming of Rp 123.649.286,-/year while the average income for cattle farming is Rp 39.740.000,-/year. So the average net income earned by farmers is Rp 91.383.564,-/year. The R/C ratio is 2,95 which means that the integrated farming business between oil palm and cattle in Delima Jaya Village, Kerinci Kanan District, Siak Regency is feasible to continue because the R/C ratio is >1.

Abstract

The shallot plant is an important vegetable commodity because it contains high nutrition, raw material for medicines, and as a complement to cooking spices, and has many vitamins and acts as an enzyme activator in the body. Shallot production, especially in Riau Province, is still not sufficient for the people's needs. The low production yield is due to low soil fertility and sub-optimal cultivation methods. For this reason, efforts are needed to increase shallot yields in Riau Province. In order for the land to be productive, it is necessary to make efforts to improve it by adding ameliorants, which are materials that can increase soil fertility by improving the physical, chemical and biological conditions of the soil. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect and obtain the best dose of Humic Acid, NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer, and its interaction on the growth and production of shallots. This research was carried out experimentally using a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), which consisted of two factors, namely H (Humic Acid) which consisted of 3 levels, and factor N (NPK fertilizer) which consisted of 3 levels, and each of them had 3 repetitions, the number of experimental units is 27 plots, each plot consists of 3 plants and 2 plants as samples, so the number of plants is 27x3 = 81 plants. The parameters observed were as follows: "Plant Height" (cm), "Number of Leaves" (strands), "Number of tubers (cm2), Diameter of tubers (cm), Number of tubers (fruits) and Weight of tubers (grams). And the interaction of humic acid and NPK fertilizer with doses of H2N2 (giving 2 g/polybag of humic acid and 20 g/polybag of NPK) gives the best results.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect and obtain the best dose of ZPT Growtone on the growth of oil palm seedlings (Elaesis guineensis Jacq) in pre-nursery. This research was carried out experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications namely G0 (without treatment), G1 (ZPT Growtone 2 gr/l), G2 (ZPT Growtone 4 gr/l), G3 (ZPT Growtone 6 gr/l), G4 (ZPT Growtone 6 gr/l). The number of experimental units was 20 plots consisting of 16 plants and 4 plants as samples, the parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter and leaf area. The results of this study were that the administration of ZPT Growtone had a very significant effect on the growth of oil palm seedlings on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter and leaf area. The best growth of oil palm seedlings was found in the G3 treatment with a concentration of 6 g/l.

Abstract

One of the reasons for the low eggplant production in Riau is that the soil type in Riau is generally Red Yellow Podzolik (PMK). Utilization of PMK soil as a medium for plant growth is faced with various problems, especially the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil which are less supportive for growth. To be able to improve PMK soil, it is necessary to provide a lot of organic matter, such as vermicompost fertilizer. Vermicompost organic fertilizer is an organic fertilizer plus, because it contains macro and micro nutrients and growth hormones that are readily absorbed by plants. In addition, giving egg shells is a household waste that can still be used to fertilize plants. Eggshell contains 94% calcium carbonate, 1% calcium phosphate, 1% magnesium carbonate and 4% organic compounds (Rahmawati and Nisa, 2015). The high calcium carbonate contained in eggshells can be used as an alternative source of calcium. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect and the best combination of casting and chicken eggshell fertilizer on the growth and production of pondoh round eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). This research was carried out experimentally using a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), which consisted of two factors, namely K (Kascing Fertilizer) consisting of 3 levels, and factor C (Chicken egg shells), consisting of 3 levels, each consisting of 3 repetitions, The number of experimental units is 27 plots, each plot consists of 4 plants and 2 plants as samples, so that the total plant is 27 x 4 = 108 plants. The result of this research is that the interaction of vermicompost fertilizer and chicken egg shells has a significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, number of fruits, fruit weight per plant, fruit diameter of eggplant plants, by giving 100 g of castor fertilizer/plant and 30 chicken egg shells. g/plant is the best dose in this study.
