Abstract

Abstract : The problems underlying this study is the lack of students ability in under standing science. This is caused because in teacing learning process the teachers still use the method of teacher contered. So the students only get the knowledge from the teacher, they aren’t active and lazy to think, ask and comment. The students seldom given opprtunity to discover and develop their ability in building knowledge and learning experience. To overcome the problem above, by implementing the inkuiri learning strategy can develop the students’ ability in learning science of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 017 Sorek Satu, Pangkalan Kuras District.The subjects of this research were the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 017 Sorek Satu, Pangkalan Kuras District in academic year 2013/2014 by number 27 students. This research design using classroom action research (PTK) done in two cycles. And each cycle is done twice meetings with a repeat meeting with one end of cycle.Which aims to improve the student’s ability of science of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 017 Sorek Satu, Pangkalan Kuras District for material of Energy. This research shows that the implementing of inkuiri learning strategy can develope student’s ability of science of the fifth grade student’s of SD Negeri 017 Sorek Satu, Pangkalan Kuras District. At the beginning of data base score is 65,86 and for the repetition of cycle I, the student’s score increase become 79 and the student’s score 82 for repetition of cycle II. Based on the explanation above can concluded that the implementing of inkuiri learning strategy can develop the student’s ability of science of the fifth grade student’s of SD Negeri 017 Sorek Satu, Pangkalan kuras District.Keywords : Inkuiri Learning Strategy, Learning Achievement IPA

Abstract

Critical thinking is an emphasis on the 2013 curriculum, as an activity in learning that must be done by the teacher for that it needs analysis to describe student abilities. This research uses descriptive quantitative research method with a sample of 318 elementary school students who are in public schools in the Tampan District, Pekanbaru, Riau Province. The results of the study found that out of 18 schools with a sample of 318 students there were 9 schools that received the 'not good' category, 9 schools that received the 'not good' category. Viewed from the critical thinking indicator, it turns out that the student's ability score reaches 23 with the category of underperformance or very low under the standard of mastery learning. It can be concluded that the ability of students in critical thinking is still very low and needs government attention to improve teacher learning.

Abstract

Besar harapan bagi masyarakat Kuok khususnya di Pulau Belimbing yang menjadi tempat pelestarian budaya yang sering dikunjungi oleh wisatawan lokal dan wisatawan mancanegara menjadi pendorong masyarakat dalam mendidik anak-anak belajar kesenian mereka sebagai salah satu upaya pelestarian dan penanaman nilai kearifan lokal. Data diperoleh dari wawancara dan observasi lapangan di kenagarian kuok. Hasil diperoleh bahwa saat sekarang ada tiga sanggar seni masyarakat dan beberapa sanggar seni yang ada di sekolah formal berada di kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di tingkat SD, SMP, MAN dan SMK. Kesenian yang dipelajari berupa musik calempong, silek bungo, tari pasombahan, sandiwara, komposis musik tradisional dan garapan tari tradisional.  Kesenian berkembang di sanggar dan sekolah tersebut sering ditampilkan pada ajang wisata seperti kunjungan tamu di rumah lontiok, penyambutan tamu di kegiatan kedinasan dan acara masyarakat dan perlombaan pada festival yang dilaksanakan oleh dinas pariwisata dan dinas pendidikan.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the role of the principal in improving school management at SD Negeri 37 Pekanbaru. The research subject was the principal of SD Negeri 37 Pekanbaru. The type of research used is qualitative research. The data analysis technique used is Miles and Huberman which uses three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and verification/drawing conclusions. The research data were obtained from interviews and observations and then elaborated, synthesized, compiled, chose which ones were important and made conclusions. The results of this study are that the role of the principal in improving management at SD Negeri 37 Pekanbaru is carried out properly and to the maximum extent possible. This can be proven by using analysis data on school management at SD Negeri 37 Pekanbaru.Key Words: The role of the principal, school management

Abstract

This research was motivated by all first graders of elementary school to improve reading ability learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to improve learning outcomes of early reading skills using the multisensory method and the factors experienced by students with reading difficulties. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). Sources of data in this study are teachers and students with research subjects are all first grade elementary school students. Reading is the teacher's goal of understanding for children who have just entered and are in elementary school and are intended to be able to start reading. Learning to read is a very important basic academic effort. The results of this study are to improve learning outcomes of early reading skills in early grade elementary school children by using the multisensory method where in the application of this learning method can improve the learning process in the classroom and can improve learning outcomes student. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh seluruh kelas I Sekolah Dasar untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kemampuan membaca. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kemampuan membaca permulaan dengan menggunakan metode multisensori dan faktor-faktor yang dialami kesulitan membaca oleh siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Guru dan siswa dengan subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas I Sekolah Dasar. Membaca menjadi tujuan pemahaman guru kepada anak yang baru masuk dan duduk di bangku Sekolah Dasar dan ditujukan agar bisa membaca permulaan. Pembelajaran membaca adalah upaya dasar akademik yang sangat penting.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kemampuan membaca permulaan pada anak kelas awal Sekolah Dasar dengan menggunakan metode multisensori dimana dalam penerapan metode pembelajaran ini dapat memperbaiki proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of the Project Based Learning model on the ability to write folk tales among fifth-grade elementary school students. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The subjects of this study were fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 06 Ladang Padi. The sample consisted of two classes: class VA as the experimental group and class VB as the control group. The experimental class implemented the Project Based Learning model, while the control class used a text-based teaching method. The students' ability to write folk tales was measured through a pretest and posttest administered to both groups using the same question, consisting of one item. The statistical data analyzed included normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing, processed using SPSS 23 software. The results showed that the hypothesis test produced a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, indicating that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected.The influence of the Project Based Learning model can be seen in the significant improvement in the experimental class. The improvement in students' ability to write folk tales was evidenced by the difference in the average posttest scores between the experimental and control classes. The experimental class achieved an average posttest score of 80.13, while the control class scored 60.12 on average. These findings demonstrate that the implementation of the Project Based Learning model significantly affects the ability to write folk tales among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 06 Ladang Padi.

Abstract

This study evaluates the feasibility of the interactive PowerPoint media *Profil Pelajar Pancasila* for 5th-grade elementary school students. Using the Borg & Gall Research and Development (R&D) model, data were collected through surveys, interviews, questionnaires, and validation sheets, analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. Media expert validation scored 92, averaging 4.84 (96.84%, "Highly Feasible"). Material expert validation scored 49, averaging 4.08 (81.67%, "Highly Feasible"). Student feedback showed 68% (17 students) rated the media as "Highly Feasible" with scores above 80%, while 32% (8 students) rated it "Feasible," with scores from 61.33% to 78.67%. The overall score was 1609, with an average percentage of 85.71%, categorized as "Highly Feasible." Teachers gave similarly positive evaluations. Teacher 1 scored 81 (95.29%), and Teacher 2 scored 69 (81.18%), both rated as "Highly Feasible." In conclusion, the interactive PowerPoint media *Profil Pelajar Pancasila* is deemed "Highly Feasible" by media and material experts, students, and teachers, proving its effectiveness and suitability for elementary education.Keywords: PowerPoint, Interactive Media, Pancasila Student Profile.
