Abstract

Abstract : This research is about the implementation of “make a match” type in cooperative learning in order to improve the students mastery on vocabulary. This research took place in Senior High School of Taruna Mandiri Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to know how the procedures are being implemented and to know the degree of improvement by using “make a match” type in cooperative learning. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The object of this research is students of grade XI IPA Senior High School of Taruna Mandiri Pekanbaru as many as 27 persons. This research is conducted in three cycles. The design used is the designed introduced by Kemmis & Mc. Taggart which the research flow includes steps such as: 1) planning, 2) acting, 3) observing, 4) reflecting. The data collection techtiques used are observation, field note, test on each cycle and documentation. On the cycle I, the result is 52%, on the cycle II increased into 65,38%, and on the cycle III increased into 76,92%. It can be concluded that the implementation of “make a match” type in cooperative learning can improve the mastery on vocabulary of students grade XI IPA Senior High School of Taruna Mandiri Pekanbaru.Keywords :Cooperative learning, make a match, Classroom Action Research, vocabulary.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the level of Japanese vocabulary mastery of class XI students of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method. The population is class XI SMAN 9 Pekanbaru with a sample of 30 students. The instrument of this research is a test. The data analysis technique used SPSS Version 25. The results showed that the level of mastery of Japanese vocabulary at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru students got an average score of 66.00 with less category.Key Words: Mastery, Vocabulary, Japanese

Abstract

Abstract: Teaching and learning activities are activities that determine success in achieving educational goals. One of the general functions and objectives of learning in schools is the readiness of teachers in providing teaching that can develop abilities to students through the selection of learning models. The Project-based Learning (PjBL) learning model is based on the characteristics of this learning model itself which focuses on the central role of students in carrying out learning activities. The benefits of the project-based learning model (Project-based Learning) are beneficial for the development of students' creativity. The purpose of this research is to raise students' awareness that students need to implement Project-based Learning because it is very much needed in schools and to find out the Understanding of Project-based Learning Models as readiness for School Field Introduction (PLP) Students of the Class of 2019 Japanese Language Education, Riau University. The type of research used is the type of mixed research (mixed methods). The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, interviews, and students' ability to make projects using the Project-based Learning model which was distributed directly to class 2019 students. 26 Japanese Language Education Students Class of 2019 in understanding the Project-based Learning model which stated that the average value of 86.615% was included in the "Very Understand" criteria.Key Words : Understanding, Readiness, Project Based-Learning Model.

Abstract: ThisThis study discusses baka utterances by the main character of one piece anime episode 1 – 10, the formulation of the problem in this study is how to analyze speech Baka By 10 Main Characters of One Piece Anime Episode 1 – 10. Conversational sentences in the data This research will be analyzed based on the function which is divided into two independent functions (Stand Alone) consisting of Explosive Interjections, oaths, curses, affirmations and contradictions,unfriendly suggestions, ritual insults, nicknames. The slot filler function consists of Adjective Enhancers, Adjectives of Dislike, stress, modal adverbial, use anaphoric epithets and supporting nouns. Abstract

Abstract: This research is about the process of designing a prototype for the Dokkai learning application as a self-learning medium specifically for JLPT preparation. The application is named "Pejuang JLPT" (JLPT Warrior). The objective of this research is to analyze and design the interface design and user experience (User Interface/User Experience) in order to develop and use it as a self-learning medium specifically for mastering comprehension of the dokkai subject in JLPT. The method used in this research is design thinking. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 20 respondents and conducting interviews with 5 individuals out of those 20 respondents.. The data analysis technique is described using qualitative descriptive data analysis. The analyzed data is then depicted as ideas and solutions for dokkai problems and the use of the application by the respondents. After ideation and solution depiction, interface design and prototyping are carried out. Finally, the prototype is tested and evaluated by expert validators in the field of media and content. The raw evaluation results are processed and calculated using the System Usability Scale (SUS), and good scores are obtained in terms of media and satisfactory scores in terms of content.Key Words: Prototype, Language Learning Media, Deliberate Practice

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine students perception of Japanese language education study program class of 2020 and 2021 FKIP Riau University towards the use of youtube social media as a means of independent Japanese learning. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative. The sampel of this research were to students class of 2020 and 2021 totaling people and the data obnaited were 53 students, the data was obnaited through a questionnaire distributed through gform. Best on the result of research that has been conducted by researches, it is can be concluded that youtube can be used as a means of independent Japanese language learning because based on the accessibility aspect, are students can access youtube through their cellphone and laptops, then on the usability aspect, youtube provides various Japanese language learning video based learning resourch, and practicality, youtube makes it easy to find the latest information on Japanese language learning, and youtube can also be used anytime and anywhere.Keywords: Youtube Social Media, Learning Media, Japanese Language, Perception

Abstract

Abstrak: This study discusses the influence of the mind mapping method in learning reading comprehension. In this study, the researchers conducted a study to find out whether there were significant differences in the reading comprehension ability of class 2020 students before and after using the mind mapping method. The type of research used was pre-experimental with the One Group Pretest-Posttest research design. The samples in this study were students of class 2020 of the Riau University Japanese Language Education Study Program with a total of 27 people. Then the material used for the pre-test and post-test was taken from the ふくむすめ童話集小学生童話 website (hukumusume douwa shuu shougakusei douwa), while for the treatment given the material was taken from the Evergreen Japanese Course website.Keywords: Mind Mapping, Dokkai, Eksperimen

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine whether the Smart Japanese application has an effect on increasing the Japanese language vocabulary of class XII students at SMK Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan. The sample used was 40 students. The research that will be carried out in this research is quantitative research. This research will be carried out with a Pre Test and Post Test Control Group design. The class will be divided into an experimental class and a control class. The experimental class will be given treatment using the Smart Japan application, while the control class will only study as usual. The data used for this study were taken from the scores of the experimental class and the control class. After the data is obtained, the data will be processed using SPSS Version 20 IBM For Windows. For the scores of the experimental class and the control class, a p-value of 0.000 was obtained, which means that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, or it can be concluded that there was a significant difference in the average score between the experimental class and the control class. From the explanation above, it can be concluded that the learning media for the Smart Japanese application vocabulary has an effect on the mastery of Japanese vocabulary for class XII students at SMK Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan.Key Words: Influence, Vocabulary, Smart Japanese

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the implementation of song media as learning Japanese vocabulary in hiragana letters for college students in class 2022. The type of research used was qualitative with an analytical descriptive method. Sources of data in this study were taken using purposive sampling by taking 27 college students to participate in learning using song media. The results in this study indicate that song media can be used as an alternative media and variations in the classroom to achieve learning objectives that can help college students to improve new Japanese vocabulary contained in song lyrics in a fun way.Keywords: Cover song, learning , Japanese vocabulary

Abstract

The research entitled Rhetorical Language Style in Benron Taikai Manuscripts 「」 aims to describe the rhetorical language style of speech texts of exchange students in the benron taikai 「」competition. from 2019 there were 3 speech manuscripts and in 2021 there were 2 speech manuscripts. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature. The data source in this study used transcripts of benron taikai’s 「」 speech texts. The theory used in this research is the theory of rhetorical language style studies according to Gorys Keraf (2007). The data collection methods and techniques used in this research were listening methods and note-taking techniques. The results of this research are rhetorical language styles which found 17 speech quotations in the form of asyndetonal rhetorical language style 「アシンデトン」3 speech quotations, euphemism rhetorical language style 「」 3 utterances, erotic rhetorical language style or rhetorical statements 「 的疑問法(てきぎもんほう)」 10 speech and rhetorical styles of zeugma 「くびき」 1 speech quote.
