Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that encourage people to ignore regulations related to Covid-19 and the function of the family in building public legal awareness. The type of research used is empirical juridical with a qualitative approach. The data sources used include primary data and secondary data. The results of the study show that the existence of regulations that regulate the prevention of the spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia is currently by some people still neglecting its implementation, this is influenced by several factors including conspiratorial theories and economic conditions. One of the efforts to raise public legal awareness to comply with these regulations is through optimizing the function of socialization and family education from parents. The role of parents who remind each other to care about maintaining health and obeying the rule of law will have the greatest impact on their own legal awareness, because parents are children's personal role models. So maximizing legal awareness is maximizing the role of parents and families.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor pendorong masyarakat abai terhadap regulasi terkait covid-19 dan fungsi keluarga dalam membangun kesadaran hukum masyarakat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis empiris dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun sumber data yang digunakan diantaranya data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan regulasi yang mengatur terkait pencegahan meluasnya covid-19 di Indonesia saat ini oleh sebagian masyarakat masih abai dalam implementasinya, hal tersebut dipengaruhi beberapa faktor diantaranya teori konspiratif dan kondisi ekonomi. Salah satu upaya menumbuhkan kesadaran hukum masyarakat untuk mentaati regulasi tersebut adalah melalui optimalisasi fungsi sosialisasi dan edukasi keluarga dari orang tua. Peran orang tua yang saling mengingatkan anaknya untuk peduli terhadap menjaga kesehatan dan mematuhi aturan hukum akan berdampak paling besar pada kesadaran hukumnya sendiri, karena orang tua adalah panutan pribadi anak. Sehingga memaksimalkan kesadaran hukum adalah memaksimalkan peran orang tua dan keluarga.

Abstract

This research aims to produce seeds from the crossbreeding of nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) of the jabir, nirwana, and sultana strains, as well as Mozambique tilapia (Oreochromis mossambicus). The crosses involved using male jabir nile tilapia with female nirwana nile tilapia and male mozambique tilapia with female sultana nile tilapia. The breeding was conducted in a 1:3 ratio of male to female. The spawning process occurred over a 16-day cycle, followed by a 28-day period of larval rearing. Crossbreeding between jabir and nirwana resulted in a higher spawning rate (17%) compared to the crossbreeding of mozambique and sultana (7%). The specific growth rate of seeds from the jabir and nirwana cross (14%) was not significantly different from the mozambique and sultana cross (13%). The survival rate of seeds from the jabir and nirwana cross (80%) was higher than from the mozambique and sultana cross (70%). Crossbreeding between male jabir nile tilapia and female nirwana nile tilapia exhibited better performance compared to the crossbreeding of male mozambique tilapia and female sultana nile tilapia.

Abstract

The production of waste every day is increasing in line with the increasing population and consumption patterns of the people. The thing that must be done to overcome the increase in the volume of waste is to reduce the volume of waste. So that in this study is to describe the role of youth in household waste management in Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency, how the general impact and the positive impact of the waste management. This research uses a descriptive method. Which was carried out at Jalan Mesjid Pasar IV Tanjung Gusta, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency by conducting interviews and observations to obtain data needed by researchers in seeking information related to the impact of waste management in the community in the area. The results of this study indicate that the waste management site that was built and developed by the youth brings together local people who work to manage the waste. This waste management has also been developed into a start-up company where the results of waste management are developed into decorative items or items that can be reused based on selling value. With the construction and development of this waste management site, it certainly has a positive impact on the local community which creates jobs that can help improve the economy of the surrounding community

Abstract

This research aims at various methods that can be used in the interpretation of the Quran. This research involves extensive qualitative analysis of the existing literature. Its main purpose is to conduct a comprehensive review and explanation of available information by referring to a variety of sources. The main objective of this qualitative literature review is to collect, evaluate, and synthesize existing knowledge regarding a particular topic, with a particular focus on the characteristics and qualities of the Quran. The data collection process includes careful textual analysis, data retrieval, and systematic organization of information. The results of data analysis show that the Qur'an as kalamullah has the highest and noblest position as a guide to human life. Efforts to understand the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an are called tafsir, certainly according to the limits of the ability of each scholar, because it is impossible to explore and extract the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an with absolute truth. There are various methods that can be used in interpreting the Quran including the maudhui' (thematic) method, tahlīliy method, ijmāliy, muqāran are still widely used today by modern mufassir, including Indonesian mufassir

Abstract

Ganoderma sp. usually attack from the root or base of the trunk on the tree whether the tree is alive or dead. There are also other species of Ganoderma whose pileus attaches directly to the tree. Ganoderma whose growth medium is in wood/trees, Ganoderma belongs to "lignicolous" mushrooms. Ganoderma sp. cause rot at the base of the stem (BPB) in oil palm or other productive crops such as rubber, coconut and tea. The tools used in this activity are digital scales, beakers, measuring cups, ovens, LAF, petri dishes, ose needles, hotplates, Bunsen, aluminum foil, autoclaves, knives, heat-resistant plastic or polypropylene, wool thread, gauze plugs, paralon, newspaper, rubber. these activities are potato extract, sugar, agar powder, aquadest, RWB, corn and fine bran. Potato extract 200 gr, sugar 10 gr, agar powder 12 gr. dissolved in 1000 ml of distilled water, the inoculum rubber wood was cut to a size of 6 cm x 6 cm x 6 cm and processed for 7 hours. Then mix the Trichoderma in the soil media. After that, imprisonment was carried out in bags of oil palm in polybags and a high proportion of deaths from oil palm seedlings up to 12 months of age. Trichoderma which acts as an antagonist microbe can suppress the growth of pathogens. By propagating the Trichoderma fungus, which is one of the ways to use biological agents to control 18 plant pests and diseases and can reduce the proportion of deaths in oil palm nurseries. Propagation of Trichoderma fungus on a nursery scale is used as pest and disease control, especially Ganoderma fungus which is currently still a pathogen in oil palm growth. By propagating Trichoderma fungus also cannot rule out the possibility of Ganoderma fungus growing. Keywords: Ganoderma, Trichoderma and Propagation

Abstract

Law Number 33 of 2014 and Government Regulation Number 31 of 2019 in Indonesia shifted halal certification from voluntary to mandatory on October 17, 2019, contrasting with Malaysia's voluntary system under the 2011 Akta Perihal Dagang (APD). This study aims to scrutinize the legal regulations of halal certification in both countries and assess their impacts on business entities. Employing a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach reveals differences in certification procedures, notably in application-to-issuance stages. Indonesia provides a self-declaration mechanism for micro and small businesses, while Malaysia lacks such a provision. Nonetheless, material inspection principles align in both nations. Most respondents perceive halal certification as crucial for sales turnover, despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is significant for businesses and governments on how to manage halal certification in both countries.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting patterns and sexual abuse behavior in children in Tegal Regency, Central Java Province. To answer these problems, this paper uses a case approach method, as well as a conceptual approach. The results of this study can be concluded that parenting is a capital for children to reach the maturity process. Family is the first social environment that individuals encounter since they were born into the world. The first family environment is the father, mother and the individual himself. The relationship between the individual and his parents is a reciprocal relationship where there is interaction in it. So it is proper as a good parent to be able to apply parenting that will form a good child's personality starting from an early age. The influence of increasingly sophisticated digital technology also has an impact on sexual violence against children, so parents are also required to monitor addictive behavior related to digital technology and prevent negative impacts due to long-term use of digital devices. Suggestions for parents to need to determine the right parenting pattern and improve the quality and quantity of communication with children and have a good trusting relationship so that the problem of sexual abuse behavior in children can be overcome and avoided.

Abstract

Indonesia is undergoing a dental caries emergency with a prevalence of 51.1% (Riskesdas, 2018). This may cause tooth decay due to dental plaque bacteria such as Streptococcus mutans. Mouthwash can be a solution because it has antibacterial properties and reaches interspaces on the teeth. Unfortunately, the active ingredient of mouthwash, chlorhexidine, can cause cancer-related mutations if used continuously. Therefore, it requires alternatives to natural ingredients, such as corn silk. The research aims to determine the corn silk phytochemical profile and minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) against Streptococcus mutans. The research started by macerating corn silk simplicia using 70% ethanol. Afterwards, thin layer chromatography (TLC) was conducted to determine its phytochemical profile. Disk-diffusion and broth microdilution methods were conducted using various concentrations of corn silk extract to determine its antibacterial activity and minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) against Streptococcus mutans. Then, the MIC₅₀ was used as the minimum dose of corn silk extract concentration in mouthwash formulation which qualities controlled by pH and organoleptic tests. The yield of corn silk extracted was 16.17%w/w. The phytochemical profile from TLC showed that flavonoids, tannins, and terpenoids were present. Corn silk extract has antibacterial activities against Streptococcus mutans with MIC₅₀ of 7.2%w/v. Corn silk extract, tween 80, sorbitol, sodium benzoate, sodium metabisulfite, oleum menthae piperitae, and distilled water were used in four mouthwash formulas (F1-F4). The pH of all formulas was 5 and the organoleptic test showed that from 30 panelists, the majority chose F2 as the best in terms of taste, color, and smell.

Abstract

Desa Pasir Utama memiliki banyak UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah) yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi produk unggulan desa. Banyaknya rumput dan mata air pada desa dianggap menjadi salah satu keuntungan untuk digunakan dalam sektor peternakan. Peternak susu kambing perah merupakan salah satu warga lokal yang telah memiliki pengalaman dibidangnya. Produk tersebut banyak diminati oleh masyarakat sekitar dan berharap dapat dipasarkan hingga skala Nasional. Kukerta Universitas Riau 2024 berupaya untuk meningkatkan mutu produk dengan cara pengembangan digitalisasi melalui penerapan desain kemasan logo pada botol, merancang ide brosur sebagai media promosi untuk memperluas pemasaran agar produk yang dihasilkan lebih menarik sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan penjualan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perbedaan prosedur penyelesaian sengketa internasional antara Indonesia dan Amerika Serikat. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memahami bagaimana sistem hukum, budaya hukum, orientasi politik dan ekonomi, serta pengalaman sejarah masing-masing negara membentuk pendekatan mereka terhadap sengketa internasional. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengkaji literatur dari buku dan jurnal bereputasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia mengutamakan negosiasi dan mediasi, sementara Amerika Serikat lebih mengandalkan arbitrase dan litigasi, mencerminkan perbedaan dalam konteks nasional dan internasional yang mempengaruhi diplomasi masing-masing negara.
