Abstract

This research was conducted for analyzing Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) of biology prospective teachers in Riau Province. The study was carried out to fulfill Indonesian Governments policy on Indonesian Qualification Framework (IQF) 6-Level. This development research aimed to analyze, design and develop a model to enhance the competency and competitiveness of Education College graduates to meet their professional, social and industrial needs. This paper discussed a preliminary study of the developed models for strenghtening the prospective teachers from Biology Education Departement, conducted through a survey of 243 students from four different colleges of education in Riau Province. The data were collected through a test and interview. The instruments used contained seven variables of knowledge, namely Technology, Paedagogy, Content, Technological Paedagogy, Technological Content, Technological knowledge and TPACK. The instruments was improved through their validity and reliability test. The TPACK performance of Prospective Biology teachers seemed low. Based on the need analysis two products will be generated. First, a lesson design and the second was a work books. This study had an implications for increasing the competence of biology education graduates. The lesson design and competency test instruments could be used for College of Biology Education and teacher professional education in developing competency test for selection system. The TPACK workbook could be used as teacher enrichment in sustainable profession development such as classroom action research, learning innovation contest, and science teacher olympiad.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve the learning outcomes of students in IPA class VII MTs Muhammadiyah Bagansiapiapi in the academic year 2015/2016 with the adoption of kooperatip STAD learning model. The study was conducted in March-April 2016. The subjects were students of class VII MTs Muhammadiyah Bagansiapiapi totaling 28 people (15 students and 13 female students). Parameters measured are student learning outcomes consisting of absorption, mastery learning students individually, Value awards groups, student activities and teacher activity by giving a score on each indicator diobservari by the observer.Absorptive capacity based on the post-test on the first cycle petemuan 1 is 75% (enough) and increases at a meeting of 2 to 79.6%, while in the second cycle, meeting 1 was 83.6% (good) and increased to 88.2%. Mastery learning students based upon a daily test on the first cycle ie 77.78% (enough) and the second cycle increased to 88.07% (excellent).Group awards in the first cycle, one predicated super group and4 great predicated group. In the second cycle, the 2 groups and 3 groups predicated predicated super great. Learning activities of students during a discussion with the implementation of cooperative learning model STAD first cycle increased in the first cycle that 81.11 % (Good) increased to 89.73% (excellent) on the second cycle. Activities teachers in the learning process in the first cycle was 88.45%, (good) and the second cycle was 96.15% (excellent). It can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model STAD can improve learning outcomes IPA class VII MTs Muhammadiyah Bagansiapiapi the school year 2015/2016.Keywords : STAD cooperative mode, IPA Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: Practicum are required in biological learning to achieve learning goals. The implementation of practicum has several obstacles, one of which during the current pandemic cannot be implemented directly in schools. Therefore, innovation is needed in the learning media to support the implementation of practicums, namely video tutorials. This research aims to develop field practicum tutorial videos to make it easier for students conduct practicum independently. The research was conducted from April – October 2021. Video development tutorial practicum using the ADDIE model consisting of 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. However, this study was only done until the development stage. At the development stage, the data source is obtained from the validation sheet and response questionnaire. The result showed that the field practicum tutorial videos developed are of good quality and can be used as a learning medium. The validation results obtained an average score of 3,69 with a very valid category, the results of limited trials of phase I is 3,82 with very good categories, and the results of limited trials of phase II is 3,61 with very good categories.Key Words: Biology, Field Practicum, Video Tutorials

Abstract

Abstrack:This reseach aims to improve learning outcomes of IPA class VIIc MTs Hubbul Wathan Bagan Punak in academic year 205/2016 through the implementation learning model cooperative type TPS. This research in March-April 2016. The research subjects is student class VIIc MTs Hubbul Wathan Bagan Punak totaling 28 people, consisting of 10 femele student and 18 male student. Parameter in research this is learning outcomes consisting of absorption, completeness learning, awerds group, learning activities student and teacher. The average absorption of studens in cycle I is 69.76% (enough), in cycle II average absorption student increased to 74.10% (good). completeness learning students individuals in cycle I is 90% (complete) and 10% (not complete). The cycle II increased to 100%. awerds group in cycle I consists of 4 group with super predicate and 3 groub with great, in cycle II all group received the predicate of greate. Average student activity in cycle I is 69.39% (enough) and in cycle II the average percentage of student activity increased to 75.50% (good). The average teacher activity in cycle I is 93,33% (very good) and in cycle II is 100% (very good). Of the results of this research note that the applicatiaon of learning models cooverative type TPS can improve student learning outcomes in the class VIIc MTs Hubbul Wathan Bagan Punak academic years 2015/2016.Keywords: learning cooperative, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : The research was conducted  to determine the types of insect pollinators on watermelon (Citrulus lanatus) agricultural land Pekanbaru City in February to June, 2014. Research results are used to teaching materials in the form of learning modules, insektarium media and interactive learning media. This research was carried out by two stage that is the field research stage and stage development of learning resources. Data retrieval technique using total sampling with threere search stations. Station I : located in the Naga Sakti Street, RT 02/RW 02, SimpangBaru Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru. Station II : located in the Lintas Timur Street Kilometers 18, RT 05/RW 08, Kulim Village, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru. Station III : located in the Ikan Parang Street, RT 03/RW 05, Muara Fajar Village, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru. Biological parameters observed are the type of insect pollinators and physical parameters include temperature, humidityand light intensity. The results showed that there are 13 species of insect pollinators belonging to 6 families and 3orders that the Order Hymenoptera, Order Lepidoptera and Order Diptera. Order Hymenoptera Family Apidae (2 species), Family Anthoporidae (1 species), Family Vespidae (1 species). Order Lepidoptera Famliy Nympalidae (5 species), Family Pieridae (3 species) and Order Diptera Family Syrphidae (1 species). Results of the study can beusedas a learning resourcein the form of learning modules, insectarium media and interactive learning media on biodiversity material class X High School. The average valueof learning resources developed ranged from 3.31 to 3.51with the validity criteria are very valid. The final stageof the research conducted limited testingof learning modules were tested in class X SMA N 8 Pekanbaru the number of students as many as 34 students. Based on the results of this research is that learning resources developed can already be implemented with the validity criteria are very valid. Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research is to increase student science skill process by applied scientific approach oriented guided discovery learning method in class XI of MIA 2 SMA Babussalam Pekanbaru in academic year 2014/2015. This research was classroom action research in two cycles and consist of plan, action and observation, and reflection. Data was collected in this research was science skill process in three aspect those were cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The data was collected using test and observation. The result of this research showed an increase for every aspect of science  process skills. Science skill process in cognitive aspect that was seen from test result in cycle I was 3.07 (B) and increase in cycle II, that was 3.16 (B). The students passing studying in cycle I was 19 (63.33%) and increased in cycle II became 25 (83.33%). The average of affective aspect in cycle I was 2.96 (good) increased in cycle II that was 3.49 (good). Science skill process in psychomotor aspect was 2.87 (B) in cycle I and became 3.46 (B+) in cycle II. The conclusion of this research was applied scientific approach oriented guided discovery learning method can increase student science skill process in class XI of MIA 2 SMA Babussalam Pekanbaru in academic year 2014/2015. Abstract

Abstract : The research was conducted to investigate diversity insectpollinators inlong beans (Vygna cylindrica) agricultural land Pekanbaru City in February to June, 2014. Research results are used to development of instructional media in the form of learning modules, student worksheet and interactivemediaofthe results ofthe inventoryof insectpollinators.This research was carried out by two stage that is the field research stage and media development stage. The research was conducted at 3 locations observation using total sampling at each station. Station I: located in the Tenayan Raya District, Seroja Kulim Street. Spacious long beans gardenrange between ± 60x 40 meters. Station II: located in the Rumbai District, Palas Village, Tengku Ibrahim Street Spacious long beans garden ±60x 40meters.Station III : located in the Tampan District, Bina Widya Street, faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau. Spacious longbeans gardenrange between±25x 30 meters the inventory of insect pollinators and environmental physical parameters include temperature, humidity and light intensity. The results showed that there are seven species of insect pollinator sare found in the long beans (Vygna cylindrica) agricultural land Pekanbaru City. Belonging to 6 families and 3 orders that the Order Hymenoptera Family Anthporidae (1 species), Family Apidae (2 species), Family Pesvinae (1 species). Order Diptera Family Syripidae (1 species) and Order Lepidoptera Family Lycanidae (1 species). temperatures ranged between from 25.4 to 31.9 OC, humidity ranged between 69-84% and light intensity ranges from 1673.2 to 3173.5 all physical environmental factors are still within the range of tolerance. Results of the study can be used as a source of learning namely learning modules, student worksheets and interactive media on the concept of interaction patterns of living creatures in Junior High School. Abstract

Abstract : this study is a class action research which was conducted in twocycles, the subject of this study was 39 tenth grade students in X.1AK SMK FarmasiIkasari Pekanbaru academic year 2015/2016, it aimed to increasestudent science skillprocess by applied model discovery learning and assessment authentic.Researchprocedureconsist of plan, action and observation, and reflection. Data was collected inthis research was science skill process in three domain those were cognitive, affectiveand psychomotor.The data was collected using test and observation. In addition to dataof science process skills , there are also the result of the application of authenticassessment that the reference assessment intact in the application of this model . Theresults showed that each domain process skills increased.Science skill process incognitive aspect that was seen from test result in cycle I was 82 (enough) and increasein cycle II, that was 86 (good).The students passing studying in cycle I was 32 (82,05%)and increased in cycle II became 38 (97,43%). The average of affective aspect in cycle Iwas 73 (less) increased in cycle II that was 86 (good). Science skill process inpsychomotor aspect was 70 (enough) in cycle I and became 86 (good) in cycle II. Thoseresults proved that the implementation ofmodel discovery learning and authenticassessment was able to increase the student science skill process in class X.1AK SMKFarmasi Ikasari Pekanbaru academic year 2015/2016..Key words : Model Discovery Learning, Assessment Authentic, Science Skill Process

Abstract

The PjBL learning model needs to be outlined in a learning module to help learning be more interesting and effective. During the two years of the implementation of the green pedagogy course, there has been no PjBL-based learning module that can be used by students. This research aims to produce PjBL-based e-modules to improve the effectiveness of green pedagogy learning. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research using the ADDIE model, with development steps namely; Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research sample is 30 students who are taking green pedagogy courses. The research instrument consisted of a validation sheet with descriptive data analysis techniques. The module feasibility testing stage is carried out by product validation by two experts. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that PjBL-based e-modules are very valid and can be used in the learning process.
