Abstract

The rapid rise of digital technology has increased problematic internet use among adolescents, raising concerns about its impact on loneliness, particularly in non-Western contexts like Indonesia. This study aimed to examine whether self-objectification mediates the relationship between problematic internet use and loneliness among Indonesian junior high school students. A quantitative correlational design was employed, involving 357 students aged 13–15 years from five diverse schools in Central Kalimantan, selected via proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected using standardized questionnaires and analyzed with PROCESS Macro Hayes Model 4 with 5,000 bootstrap samples. Findings revealed a significant direct effect of problematic internet use on loneliness, but no significant relationships between problematic internet use and self-objectification or self-objectification and loneliness. The mediation effect of self-objectification was also non-significant. These results suggest that problematic internet use directly contributes to loneliness without self-objectification as a mediator, highlighting the need for digital wellness programs to promote balanced internet use and foster offline social connections among Indonesian adolescents.

Abstract

Studi Pustaka: Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning Terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif Peserta Didik Pada Pelajaran IPA. Pendidikan abad 21 menuntuk peserta didik memiliki keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dengan 4 komponen yakni: 1) critical thinking, 2) creativity, 3) communication, 4) collaboration. Keterampilan berpikir kreatif merupakan suatu proses berpikir untuk menggali potensi peserta didik dalam menghasilkan karya inovatif serta mampu menemukan solusi akan permasalahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis pendekatan studi pustaka untuk mendalami lebih detail model pembelajaran PjBL terhadap keterampilan peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literatur research sebanyak 13 artikel gabungan dari jurnal nasional dan internasional. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan 13 artikel yang dilakukan, kesimpulannya ialah penelitian studi pustaka penerapan model pembelajaran PjBL pada mata pelajaran IPA memiliki dampak positif dan berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze post-truth phenomena and their impact in the context of social life. Post-truth, which is an era where lies can be disguised as truth, has changed the information landscape and public perception. This article explores the concept of post-truth from a philosophical and contextual perspective. Additionally, its impact on social polarization and public opinion is also explored. The polarization of society is increasing because post-truth strengthens divisions between groups with different views. This influences public opinion, where emotions and personal beliefs often take precedence over facts. This article also discusses educational and public policy strategies that can be used to address the negative impacts of post-truth. Increasing media literacy, information transparency, moral education, and cooperation between government, media, and educational institutions are the keys to facing this challenge. Thus, this article provides an in-depth understanding of the post-truth phenomenon and attempts to overcome its impact in social life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of SSPBLS (Socio-Scientific Problem based Learning with Spiritual Value) on digestive system materials at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sragen for the academic year 2024/2025 and to find out whether this model can improve student learning outcomes. The type of research used is quantitative with experimental design. Data collection was carried out through learning outcome tests, observations, and interviews. Based on the results of the t-test, a significance value (sig.) of 0.22 was obtained, which was more than 0.05, which showed that there was no significant difference between the experimental group using the SSPBLS model and the control group using conventional learning methods. The results of this study show that the application of the SSPBLS model to the digestive system material in terms of final average scores can improve student learning outcomes. These results show that SSPBLS has the potential to improve student understanding through a problem-based approach that connects scientific phenomena with social issues, and its application in the field has met expectations. This research contributes to enriching contextual learning approaches through the application of the SSPBLS model which is proven to improve student learning outcomes by integrating social issues, critical thinking skills, and character values and provides alternative effective learning strategies to improve learning outcomes, with an emphasis on students' active involvement in solving problems based on social issues.

Abstract

The success of the learning process cannot be separated from the teacher's ability to apply creative and innovative learning models in order to provide stimulus to students to be more active in the learning process. The teacher-centered teaching and learning process has an impact on students not having learning motivation and has an impact on low student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes on biological material by applying a cooperative learning model. The method used in this study is a literature study by analyzing and identifying related scientific articles so as to produce a more informative, objective and reliable summary. Data collection in this study through jurals indexed by Scopus and Google Scholar. The results showed that the application of the cooperative learning model was effectively used in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-book pembelajaran berbasis Discovery Learning guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem sirkulasi. Materi ini kerap dianggap kompleks dan sulit dipahami oleh siswa, sehingga pendekatan interaktif berbasis teknologi diharapkan mampu meningkatkan motivasi serta keterlibatan mereka dalam pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Borg & Gall, yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, serta validasi oleh para ahli. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket berupa lembar validasi yang diberikan kepada validator ahli, serta wawancara dengan guru dan siswa selama tahap uji coba awal. Hasil validasi dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan menghitung skor rata-rata penilaian. Berdasarkan hasil validasi media, terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek desain tampilan, kemudahan penggunaan, dan grafis, di mana skor rata-rata meningkat dari 81,93 menjadi 86,8. Selain itu, validasi materi juga menunjukkan perbaikan yang signifikan, dengan peningkatan skor pada aspek kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, dan penyajian dari 86,08 menjadi 94,07 setelah revisi. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa E-book yang dirancang secara baik, relevan, mudah dipahami, serta menarik bagi siswa dapat menjadi media pembelajaran yang efektif. Dengan mengintegrasikan elemen interaktif, penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi sistem sirkulasi serta mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih aktif dan bermakna.
