Abstract

One of the efforts to increase the production of soybean plants in a dry land, which is environmentally friendly with mycorrhizal inoculation, will help absorb water tightly bound to soil micropores and absorb plant nutrients. This research aimed to study the effect of MVA application on increasing the growth and production of soybean genotypes on dry land, determining the type of mycorrhizae that is most compatible with soybean genotypes on dry land, is there an interaction between soybean genotypes and mycorrhizal types so that it is adaptive on dry land. Use Divided plot design (RPT), as follows: Main plot (PU) consists of 6 genotypes of the 4th generation (g) viz : g1 (gM50Gy); g2 (gO50Gy); g3 (gT50Gy); g4 (gM); g5 (gO); g6 (gT). Subplot (AP) is kind mycorrhizae (M), namely control (without mycorrhizae (m0), Glomus etunicatum (m1), Gigaspora margarita, (m2), mixedGlomus etunicatum and the Gigaspora margarita (m3). Each treatment on the main plot and subplots were combined so that there were 24 treatment combinations. The results showed that the soybean genotype was g1 (gM50Gy); g2 (gO50Gy); g3 (gT50Gy) are well adapted to dry land, which is indicated by stomata length and width, higher canopy and root dry weight, and with lower Al uptake. A mycorrhizal application mix Glomus etunicatum and Gigaspora margarita showed the best results on observing length and number of stomata, shoot and root dry weight, root Al uptake, number of filled pods, and seed weight per plot. Treatment (gT50Gy) with mycorrhizal applications mix Glomus etunicatum, and Gigaspora margarita gave the best results on the number of stomata, phosphorus uptake.

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain the composition of biochar as a soil enhancer and mycorrhizal dose, which affected the nutrient uptake of cayenne plants. This experimental research was based on a separate plot design (RPT) with a basic randomized block design (RCBD). The main plot experiment was vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhiza or VAM (m) with three levels: mycorrhiza 10 g/plant (m1), mycorrhiza 15 g/plant (m2), and mycorrhiza 20 g/plant (m3). The subplot is biochar composition as soil enhancer (b) with three types: biochar husk 50%+25% soil+25% sand (b1), 50% sand+25% soil+25% biochar wood (b2), and wood charcoal biochar 50%+soil 25%+biochar charcoal husk 25% (b3). Each level of the VAM doses factor is combined with biochar. These nine treatment combinations and the levels were repeated thrice, accounting for 27 experimental units. The results showed that the parameters of phosphorus uptake, potassium uptake, and fresh root weight had a positive and significant relationship to the percentage of mycorrhizal infections. The combination treatment of mycorrhiza 20 g/plant and the composition of 50% husk biochar+25% soil+25% sand, 15 g mycorrhizal dose treatment with 50% wood biochar+25% soil+25% biochar rice husk and 20 g/plant are the best treatment as a planting medium.

Abstract

Percobaan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan produksi kacang hijau dengan pemanfaatan Mikoriza Vesikular Arbuskular dengan beberapa taraf dosis. Percobaan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan informasi pada petani mengenai pemanfaatan Mikoriza Vesikular Arbuskular yaitu sebagai pupuk hayati. Percobaan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan polybag di Lingkungan betang Kel. Baju bodoa Kec. Maros Baru pada bulan Maret – Juni 2016. Metode percobaan dengan menggunakan rancangan faktorial dua faktor yang disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Faktor I (pertama) adalah varietas kacang hijau, yang terdiri 2 varietas, yaitu varietas Sampeong dan varietas Kutilang dan Faktor II (kedua) dosis mikoriza dengan 4 taraf dosis, yaitu tanpa pemberian Mikoriza, Mikoriza 5 g/polybag , Mikoriza 7,5 g/polybag , Mikoriza 10 g/polybag. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan sidik ragam α = 5 %, dilanjutkan dengan Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) α = 5 % Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa varietas Kutilang memberikan hasil pertumbuhan dan produksi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan varietas Sampeong, Pemberian Mikoriza 10 g/polybag memberikan hasil 15,76 g.tan-1 dan berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan kontrol, dosis 5 g/polybag dan 7,5 g/polybag..

Abstract

Utilization of local microorganisms is important to utilize the potential of the area by utilizing tea waste as a mixture of new alternative culture media for the propagation of Trichoderma sp. The aim of this study was to identify locally specific rhizosphere fungi and determine the appropriate media mix for the propagation of Trichoderma sp. The research consisted of 2 stages. The first stage used a descriptive-exploratory method by taking random soil samples in Kab. Pangkep, Maros, and Gowa on the rhizosphere of maize cultivation. The second stage used a factorial design in RAL (Completely Randomized Design) which consisted of two treatment factors, namely: Factor I. Administration of the fungus Trichoderma sp. (C), c1 = Trichoderma sp. from Pangkep, c2 = Trichoderma sp. from Goa. While factor II is the growing medium (M), m1 = 200 g rice, m2 = 150 g rice + 50 g tea waste, m3 = 100 g rice + 100 g tea waste, m4 = 50 g rice + 150 g tea waste, m5 = tea dregs 200 g, There were 10 treatment combinations, each treatment combination was repeated 3 times so that there were 30 experimental units in total. The results of the study showed that 8 fungi isolates were obtained from the rhizosphere fungi from corn from Pangkep, Maros, and Gowa. Fungus isolates from Pangkep Regency 3 isolates (Trichoderma sp, black Aspergillus sp, green Aspergillus sp), Maros Regency 2 isolates (black Aspergillus sp, Verticellium sp), and Gowa Regency 3 isolates (Trichoderma sp, green Aspergillus sp, Verticellium sp ). The medium of 150 g of rice + 50 g of tea dregs is the best medium for the multiplication of Trichoderma sp. resulting in a higher width, length, and density of conidia than other treatments.

Abstract

Cendawan mutualistik akar bermanfaat meningkatkan keanekaragaman hayati dan aktivitas biologis tanah, memperbaiki struktur tanah, kapasitas menahan air, dan pertukaran kation dan mendorong meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi cendawan rhizosfer akar (Trichoderma sp, Aspergillus sp. Hitam, Aspergillus sp. Hijau) dan Mikoriza Vesicular Arbuscular (MVA) dan terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman jagung (Zea mays L.) Penelitian menggunkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial 3× 3 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah isolate cendawan rhizosfer yang terdiri atas 3 jenis isolate cendawan adalah Trichoderma sp; Aspergillus sp. Hitam; Aspergillus sp. Hijau. Faktor kedua adalah mikoriza vesicular arbuskular yang terdiri dari 3 aplikasi yaitu : Tanpa mikoriza; Aplikasi mikoriza pada lubang tanam; Aplikasi mikoriza pada penyemaian benih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : aplikasi isolate Trichoderma sp memberikan rerata bobot tongkol jagung dengan klobot.tanaman-1, bobot tongkol jagung tanpa klobot.tanaman-1, bobot jagung.tanaman-1 lebih berat dibanding perlakuan Aspergillus sp. hitam dan Aspergillus sp. hijau; Perlakuan aplikasi inokulasi mikoriza pada lubang tanam memberikan tinggi tanaman, dan bobot akar tanaman jagung berbeda significant dibanding aplikasi mikoriza pada penyemaian benih; Interaksi perlakuan hanya terdapat pada pengamatan bobot tongkol jagung tanpa klobot.tanaman-1.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitan ini adalah mengetahui dosis pupuk kandang kambing, dosis pupuk NPK Mutiara, dan interaksi yang memberikan hasil terbaik pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi dengan sistem tanam jajar legowo 3:1. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dilahan percobaan kampus 2 Universitas Muslim Maros di Lingkungan Pammelakkang Je’ne Kecamatan Lau, Kabupaten Maros, Sulawesi Selatan yang berlangsung pada bulan Januari sampai Maret 2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Faktorial 2 Faktor .Faktor pertama yaitu pupuk kandang kambing yang terdiri atas 3 taraf, yaitu pupuk kandang kambing dosis 0,6 kg, pupuk kandang kambing dosis 1 kg dan pupuk kandang kambing dosis 1,4 kg. Faktor kedua pupuk NPK Mutiara yang terdiri 2 taraf, yaitu pupuk NPK Mutiara dosis 40 g dan pupuk NPK Mutiara dosis 60 g.          Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dosis pupuk kandang kambing 1 kg memberikan hasil lebih baik terhadap pertumbuhan jumlah anakan, berat 1000 bulir, dan berat malai tanaman padi, dan perlakuan dosis pupuk kandang kambing 1,4 kg  memberikan hasil lebih baik terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, berat perpetak,dan berat berisi, sedangkan perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK Mutiara 40 g memberikan hasil lebih baik terhadap pertumbuhan jumlah anakan, berat 1000 bulir, , dan berat malai tanaman padi,  dan perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK Mutiara 60 g memberikan hasil lebih baik terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, berat perpetak,dan berat berisi dan interaksi antara pupuk kandang kambing dosis 1 kg dan dosis pupuk NPK Mutiara 40 g memberikan hasil lebih baik terhadap pertumbuhan jumlah anakan, berat 1000 bulir, dan berat malai dan interaksi antara pupuk kandang kambing dosis 1,4 kg dan dosis pupuk NPK Mutiara 60 g memberikan hasil lebih baik terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, berat perpetak,dan berat berisi tanaman padi.

Abstract

Extensionist agents as one of the important spearheads in advancing agriculture in Indonesia. By counseling will provide information, knowledge, and skills to farmers in trying to farm. One of the factors in improving the knowledge and skills of farmers is to provide effective and efficient extension learning method. This study aims 1) Analyze the Method of agricultural Extension in Maros Baru Sub-district Maros Regency 2) Analyze the influence of Agricultural Extensionist Method in improving Farmers Knowledge and Skills in Maros Baru sub-district. This research was conducted for approximately 3 months, starting from May to July 2018, with the research location is in District Maros Baru. The sample in this study is the existing farmers in the District Maros Baru, with the sampling system by proportional sampling. The method of data analysis are: 1) Qualitative Descriptive Analysis and 2) Test t. The result of the research shows that: A) The Agriculture extension which is categorized as very high is Demplot, Anjangsana, Training and Field School, While the Method of learning extension that as high category is Temu wicara and comparative study. B) The overall agriculture extension Methode is influential in increasing the knowledge and skills of farmers.

Abstract

Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizae and Trichoderma sp are biological agents of microorganisms to assist in nutrient uptake, suppress pathogen populations, accelerate growth and increase crop yields. This research aimed to determine the effect of age transplanting seeds with the application of Mycorrhizal Arbuscula Vesicular and a dose of Trichoderma sp., which could increase the production of Purple Corn (Zea mays var Ceratina Kulesh). This research was carried out in an experiment using Split Plot Design. The Main Plot was the age of transplanting (m) with the application of Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizae as much as 10 g.tan-1, which were: m1 (transplanting age 0 days), m2 (transplanting age 7 days), m3 (age of transplanting 10 days). The Sub-Plot (SP) was The Trichoderma sp. (t), which were: t0 (without Trichoderma sp.), t1 (Trichoderma sp. 100 g.tan-1), t2 (Trichoderma sp. 200 g.tan-1). Each treatment in the main plot and sub-plot was combined to create nine treatment combinations. Each treatment combination was repeated three times so that a total of 27 plot units. The results showed that the treatment of  10 days of transplanting with the application of Mycorrhizal Vesicular Arbuscula as much as 10 g.tan-1 gave the best results on cob diameter and Phosphorus uptake. Dosage of Trichoderma sp. 200 g.tan-1 gave the best results on planting crown weight, cob diameter, The combination of 10 days of transplanting, while the application of Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizae and a dose of Trichoderma sp. 200 g.tan-1 gave the best results on cob weight per plant, Nitrogen and Potassium uptake.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the increase in growth and yield of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr) genotypes in the application of Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizae (VAM) and tricho-compost in dryland. This research was conducted in the form of an experiment using a Split plot design was composed: all treatments were given NPK fertilizer at a dose of 50% of the recommended dose and 5 g of mycorrhizae (Glomus sp. + Gigaspora sp. + Acaulospora sp.). The main plot (MP) had six genotypes (G). The sub-plot (SP) was mycorrhizae +tricho-compost (T): mycorrhizae +without tricho-compost (t0), mycorrhizae +tricho-compost 50 g plant-1 (t1 ), and mycorrhizae +2tricho-compost 100 g plant-1 (t2 ). The results showed that soybean genotypes gM50Gy, gO50Gy, and gT50Gy have the stability of agronomic characteristics on the shoot dry weight, root dry weight, and soybean dry weight in the adaptation test in dryland. The treatment of tricho-compost 100 g ton-1 had the highest increased shoot dry weight, root dry weight, percentage of mycorrhizal infection, and Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K) uptake. The interaction of gT50Gyt2 ; gO50Gyt2  and gTt2  resulted in higher root dry weight and N, P, and K uptake than gM50Gyt2; gMt2; gOt2.

Abstract

Trichoderma sp and cow manure as biofertilation that supports the growth and production of horticultural and food crops. The aim of the research is to determine the application time of Trichoderma sp on purple eggplant plants, to determine the interaction between the Trichoderma sp fungus and which dose of manure provides the best growth and production on purple eggplant plants. This research method was prepared based on a split plot design (SPD), with 12 treatment combinations, each treatment repeated 3 times so that there were 36 experimental units. The main plot is the dose of cow manure (p), consisting of 3 levels, namely, p1 (cow manure dose 500 g/polybag), p2 (cow manure dose 750 g/polybag), p3 (cow manure dose 1000 g/ polybag). The subplot is the application time of Trichoderma sp (a), consisting of 4 application times, namely, t0 (without Trichoderma sp), t1 (1 week before planting), t2 (at planting time), t3 (1 week after planting). The treatment of Trichoderma sp application time has no effect on the growth and production of purple eggplant plants due to the dose of Trichoderma sp is not optimal, giving a dose of manure 1000g.polybag is more effective than 750g.polybag and 500g.polybag on production (length and weight of fruit/plant) purple eggplant. The interaction between the dose of manure 500g.polybag with Trichoderma sp application time 1 week before planting gave the best effect on the growth of crown weight, root weight and production (length of fruit/plant) of purple eggplant
