Abstract

Abstract This dedication is motivated by the difficulties of teachers in learning during the covid pandemic which requires the academic community to utilize e-learning in delivering material to students. Learning activities through Google Classroom or Google Classroom are a learning platform that collaborates synchronously and asynchronously as a way out of difficulties in making, sharing, and classifying each assignment easier. The purpose of this service is to provide training on using Google Classroom to teachers. teacher in Bandung. The method used in this research is the lecture and demonstration method. The results of this study showed a positive response from the teachers even though the use of the google classroom application was still foreign because the teachers who attended the training came from various school levels. Starting from PAUD to high school level or equivalent. Google Classroom can be used as an easy-to-use learning application. Utilization of Google Classroom can be through multiplatform, namely through computer devices as well as through smartphones. We can visit the site https://classroom.google.com or can download through the Playstore application on Android. The use is free of charge so that its utilization can be carried out according to need. Abstrak Pengabdian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kesulitan guru dalam pembelajaran di masa pandemi covid yang mengharuskan civitas akademika untuk memanfaatkan e-learning dalam menyampaikan materi kepada peserta didik. Kegiatan pembelajaran melalui google classroom atau ruang kelas google merupakan salah satu wadah pembelajaran yang mengkolabarisakan synchronous dan asynchronous sebagai jalan keluar atas kesuliatan dalam membuat, membagikan, dan menggolongkan setiap penugasan menjadi lebih mudah.Tujuan dari pengabdian ini untuk memberikan pelatihan penggunaan google classroom kepada guru-guru di kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode ceramah dan demonstrasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan respon positif dari guru-guru meskipun penggunaan aplikasi google classroom masih asing karena guru-guru yang mengikuti pelatihan berasal dari jenjang sekolah yang beragam. Mulai dari PAUD sampai tingkat SMA sederajat.. Google classroom dapat dijadikan salah satu aplikasi pembelajaran yang mudah digunakan. Pemanfaatan google classroom dapat melalui multiplatform yaitu melalui perangkat komputer juga melalui gawai. Kita dapat mengunjungi situs https://classroom.google.com atau dapat mengunduh melalui aplikasi playstore di android. Penggunaan tersebut tidak dipungut biaya sehingga pemanfaatannya dapat dilakukan sesuai dengan kebutuhan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the meaning of the poem entitled "own" by Chairil Anwar, using a semiotic approach. This research was motivated by the curiosity and interest of researchers to analyze the signs contained in Chairil Anwar's poetry. Semiotics is the study of linguistics that studies signs in literary works. A sign in question is in the form of the theme of the poem, or the meaning of a word in a particular poem. The signs in the "own" poetry appear, then analyzed by using a semiotic approach, among which there are several aspects, namely symbols, icons, and indexes, which in the end give rise to a meaning. Semiotics and language are an inseparable series, especially in literary works. Semiotics plays a major role in a poem because it can provide an illustration and an understanding to the reader regarding the language conveyed in each stanza. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method by describing the results of poetry analysis based on the data obtained. The data in this study is a poem by the writer Chairil Anwar with his own title, this poem has a simple stanza, and contains a deep meaning.

Abstract

The background of this research is that students experience many factors during learning. This includes limitations in writing ability and idea development. During learning, the teacher usually only learns through monotonous methods without media and then only gives assignments. The method that is often used is the lecture method from textbooks, which does not require students to be active. The formulation of the research problem is as follows. 1) How does Canva media affect the ability to write procedural text? 2) How is the implementation of learning with discovery learning models in students' writing abilities? The research objective was to determine the effect of Canva media on the ability to write Indonesian procedural texts and the effect of implementing the discovery learning model on writing ability. The discovery learning model aims to facilitate the development of ideas in writing. One of the efforts to improve procedural text writing skills is to conduct research using discovery learning assisted by Canva media. Canva is an online application designed for more interactive and creative learning in writing. The method used is descriptive qualitative using observation techniques, data collection and tests. The subjects in this study were 30 students in class VII-E of SMPN 3 Cimahi. The results showed that the discovery learning model can be used effectively in learning procedural text writing skills. Judging from the results of students' ability to write procedural texts, they generally get good criteria because they get scores above 80.

Abstract

This research is based on the observation that there are still many schools that ignore the use of learning media, especially when teaching students how to make advertisements. As a result, students are less enthusiastic and find it difficult to find ideas for making advertisements. Researchers suggest using the Canva application to overcome this problem. Students' responses to the use of the Canva application in making advertisements are the formulation of the problem in this study. This research uses the descriptive-qualitative method. The instrument used is a questionnaire. After the data on the results of student responses were analyzed, an average percentage of 89.5% was obtained, so it was categorized as very good. Based on this, it can be said that MTs Miftahul Huda Kiarapayung students enjoy using the Canva application program to write advertisements.

Abstract

Learning to write the text of the observation report is studied at the junior secondary level which conveys observations of an object in the form of a general description of the object being observed and studied. However, learning activities to write the text of the observation report are still lacking so that learning innovation is needed through the liveworksheet application. One of them uses a discovery learning model assisted by the liveworksheet application. The purpose of this study is to find out the pre-test and post-test of student learning outcomes in writing observation texts using the discovery learning method assisted by the liveworksheet application. The research method used is a quantitative method of experimentation with data collection techniques in the form of pre-test scores and post-test scores. The research project was 31 students of SMPN 01 Gununghalu. Based on the results of the study, a normal distributed value was obtained and with an average prestest value of 69.83 and an average postest value of 80. With the increase in the average results in the pretest and posttest, it was concluded that in this study there was a positive influence on the application of the discovery learning model on learning to write the text of the observation report.

Abstract

Poetry serves as a medium for women to express critical perspectives on the relationship between the female body and nature, both of which are subjected to oppression, especially amidst environmental crises and gender inequality. Female poets such as Oka Rusmini, Dorothea Rosa Herliany, and Toeti Heraty have written poetry that is not only personal but also acts as a form of protest against patriarchy and anthropocentric worldviews that neglect the environment. Therefore, this research is important to explore how women's poetry symbolically and ideologically portrays the body, trauma, love, and nature, as well as how poetic language is used to voice social, ecological, and feminist critiques. This study employs two approaches: stylistics and ecofeminist ecocriticism. The stylistic approach examines the linguistic aspects of poetry, such as diction, imagery, figurative language, and sound structure, which create aesthetic and emotional effects. Meanwhile, the ecofeminist ecocritical approach analyzes the relationship between representations of the female body and nature as a whole within the poems. Three poems are analyzed in this study: the untitled poem by Oka Rusmini (beginning with the line “Pertemuan itu, jadi benih pulau…”), “Nikah Sungai” by Dorothea Rosa Herliany, and “Lukisan Wanita 1938” by Toeti Heraty. This research uses a descriptive qualitative methodology and applies literary text analysis techniques. The analysis process begins with a close reading of the three poems. Stylistic elements are identified, and symbolic meanings are interpreted using the ecofeminist ecocritical framework. The findings reveal that the female body is depicted as an ecological and historical landscape marked by wounds and oppression. The poems expose systems of power that oppress both women and nature, while offering a space for resistance through symbols of nature, the body, and death. These poems explicitly reject the romanticization of love, the aestheticization of the body, and historical narratives that silence women's voices. AbstrakPuisi menjadi media bagi perempuan untuk menyampaikan pandangan kritis tentang hubungan antara tubuh perempuan dan alam yang mengalami penindasan, terutama di tengah krisis lingkungan dan ketidakadilan gender. Penyair perempuan seperti Oka Rusmini, Dorothea Rosa Herliany, dan Toeti Heraty telah menulis puisi yang tidak hanya bersifat pribadi, tetapi juga sebagai bentuk protes terhadap patriarki dan cara pandang manusia yang mengabaikan alam (antroposentrisme). Karena itu, penelitian ini penting untuk melihat puisi-puisi perempuan menggambarkan tubuh, trauma, cinta, dan alam secara simbolis dan ideologis, serta bagaimana bahasa puisi digunakan untuk menyampaikan kritik sosial, lingkungan, dan feminisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua pendekatan: stilistika dan ekokritik-ekofeminisme. Pendekatan stilistika melihat aspek kebahasaan puisi, seperti diksi, citraan, gaya bahasa, dan struktur bunyi yang memberikan dampak estetis dan emosional. Sementara itu, pendekatan ekokritik-ekofeminisme melihat hubungan antara representasi tubuh perempuan dan alam secara keseluruhan dalam puisi. Puisi tanpa judul karya Oka Rusmini (dengan kutipan pembuka "Pertemuan itu, jadi benih pulau.), "Nikah Sungai" karya Dorothea Rosa Herliany, dan "Lukisan Wanita 1938" karya Toeti Heraty adalah ketiga puisi yang dianalisis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik analisis teks sastra. Proses analisis dimulai dengan pembacaan menyeluruh dari ketiga puisi. Stilistika diidentifikasi dan makna simbolik ditafsirkan menggunakan kerangka ekokritik-ekofeminisme. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tubuh perempuan digambarkan sebagai lanskap ekologis dan historis yang dipenuhi dengan luka dan penindasan. Puisi membongkar kekuasaan yang menindas alam dan perempuan dan menawarkan ruang perlawanan melalui simbol alam, tubuh, dan kematian. Puisi-puisi ini secara khusus menentang romantisasi cinta, estetika tubuh, dan narasi sejarah yang mengabaikan suara perempuan.

Abstract

This research examines the identity of the Sundanese people contained in the Ciung Wanara (CW) myth. The research method uses the Levi-Strauss structuralism approach, which is assumed to be able to interpret myths comprehensively through innate discoveries which are the meeting point between surface and deep structure. The stages of research were carried out in several locations, namely (1) the search for Ciung Wanara data was divided into episodes and units; (2) synchronous and diachronic series were made to find the surface structure; (3) looking for a deep structure with a binary opposition path; and (4) innate discovery. The results showed that there were 17 episodes and 49 units. From the synchronic and diachronic tables for my theme, five triangular patterns were found, namely the queen's triangle pattern, the Supreme triangle pattern, the parents' triangle pattern, the life triangle pattern, the natural triangle pattern, and also found the Sundanese political triad. The most dominant pattern is contained in the Ciung Wanara myth, namely the triangular way of life, patterns of thinking, patterns of behavior, and patterns of action which are the identity of the Sundanese people and the application of the triad of Sundanese Politica (silih asih, silih asah, and silih asuh). AbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji jati diri orang Sunda yang terdapat dalam mitos Ciung Wanara (CW). Penelitian menunjukkan model logis orang Sunda mengatasi konflik atau kontradiksi yang terjadi di antara mereka. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan strukturalisme Levi-Strauss yang diasumsikan dapat memaknai mitos secara komprehensif melalui penemuan innate yang merupakan titik temu antara surface dan deep structure. Tahapan penelitiannya, yaitu (1) pencarian data CW dibagi dalam episode dan unit; (2) dibuat deret sinkronis dan diakronis untuk menemukan surface structure; (3) dicari deep structure dengan jalan oposisi biner; dan (4) penemuan innate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 17 episode dan 49 unit. Dari hasil penyusunan tabel sinkronis dan diakronis untuk mytheme ditemukan lima pola segitiga, yaitu pola segitiga permaisuri, pola segitiga Mahatinggi, pola segitiga orang tua, pola segitiga kehidupan, pola segitiga alam, dan ditemukan pula trias politika Sunda. Pola yang paling dominan terdapat dalam mitos CW, yaitu pola segitiga kehidupan, pola berpikir, pola bersikap, dan pola bertindak yang menjadi kekhasan jati diri orang Sunda, serta penerapan dari trias politika Sunda (silih asih, silih asah, dan silih asuh).
