Abstract

The development of technology today makes many business actors start to appear. The number of business actors causes intense competition, requiring business actors to carry out various strategies to survive in market competition. Furthermore, the large number of internet users has changed the habits and behavior of the Indonesian people, namely changing conventional transactions to online buying and selling transactions. Indonesia has many E-commerce fashion sites that have been popular, and also has outlets in several places, one of which is Berrybenka. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of product quality variables, website quality, and risk perception on purchasing decisions on the Berrybenka website in Bandar Lampung. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from the results of respondents' answers collected with the help of a questionnaire. The number of samples in this study were 115 respondents. The sample collection method uses purposive sampling, which is a technique used to determine the sample with criteria according to the researcher's determination. The analysis methods used in this study are validity test, reliability test, partial test (t-test), and coefficient of determination (R2). Then the analysis stage uses multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS 26 application. The results of this study indicate that product quality, website quality, and risk perception have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Keywords: Product Quality, Website Quality, Purchase Decision, BerrybenkaDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/E3J/v6i2.207-215

Abstract

Abstract

The increase in cases of coronary heart disease without detailed knowledge of the causes is a serious problem that requires immediate treatment. This study aims to analyze the relationship between causal factors and the incidence of coronary heart disease using the Frequent Pattern Growth (FP-Growth) algorithm. This algorithm is applied to medical data of inpatients at RSUD dr. Fauziah Bireuen to identify patterns of relationships that often arise between risk factors such as age, gender, diabetes, cholesterol, hypertension and uric acid on the diagnosis of coronary heart disease. There were 180 patient medical record data with 17 items used for analysis. The results show the three most significant relationship patterns: the combination of risk factors for diabetes and high cholesterol has a support value of 50% and confidence of 67%, the risk of diabetes in men has a support value of 47% and confidence of 63%, and the combination of cholesterol and hypertension shows a support value of 45 % and confidence 66%. These results are expected to provide better insight into the prevention, early detection and treatment of coronary heart disease, as well as improving health services in hospitals. This research also emphasizes the importance of applying data mining technology in the analysis of complex health data.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low English speaking ability of students at SMP IT Tahfizh Al Ikram Bengkalis, which hinders their participation in academic activities such as discussions and presentations. Considering the importance of affective factors—namely self-confidence, motivation, and anxiety—in the language acquisition process, this study aims to analyze the relationship between these factors and students' speaking ability. The method used is quantitative with a correlational design, involving 42 eighth-grade students selected through a purposive sampling technique. The research instruments were a standardized questionnaire and a speaking test. The results showed that there was no statistically significant relationship between students' affective factors and speaking ability, even though students' motivation and confidence were at a high level. Based on these results, it is recommended that educators prioritize efforts to reduce speaking anxiety by creating a supportive learning environment and using a variety of speaking activities. Future research is recommended to explore other variables such as linguistic competence, learning strategies, and exposure to English outside the classroom to find stronger predictive factors for speaking ability.

Abstract

Learning media is an important component in the learning process, but in reality there are still very few teachers who use media in the learning process, causing student learning outcomes to decline. This research aims to reveal 1) whether the application of interactive PowerPoint media can improve mathematics learning outcomes in whole number material, 2) how the application of interactive PowerPoint media can improve mathematics learning outcomes in whole number material. This research method is Classroom Action Research using quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data collection techniques in this research are tests, observation, interviews, documentation. The population of this study were all students in class IV-C of SDN 06 Belutu whose address was Jalan Perkebunan Ujung Tanjung, Jambai Makmur Village, Kandis District, Siak Regency with a total of 21 students. The research implementation and implementation procedures were divided into two cycles, each cycle held in two meetings. The results of this research show that student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average of 71.43 with a completion percentage of 76.19% and the number of students who achieved the KKM was 16 students, after improvements were made in cycle II it showed that student learning outcomes had increased to 86 .19 with a completion percentage of 90.47% with 19 students achieving the KKM. By using interactive PowerPoint learning media on whole number material, it has characteristics that can make it easier for teachers to convey the material, make it easier for students to understand the material, students feel happier, their ability to work in groups looks better with indications: students are more active, work becomes more effective, students obey orders, and communication is clearer. Digital-based PowerPoint media adapts to technological developments and can be used for a long period of time. This interactive PowerPoint learning media is designed with an attractive and interactive design. Apart from the material, it also includes games and quiz questions which can encourage student activity in participating in learning and are able to create interaction between the learning media and students so that it can improve student learning outcomes in a whole number of materials. class IV SDN 06 Belutu academic year 2023/2024.

Abstract

Research on mathematical communication skills has a background on the importance of student's ability to organize ideas and thoughts when solving problems. This study aimed to determine students' mathematical communication abilities on number pattern material through learning with the RME approach at one of the Banda Aceh Middle Schools. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects were 24 students, and three students were interviewed. Data was collected through interviews, which were analyzed in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research showed that mathematical communication skills through learning with the RME approach for number pattern material experienced good development. Students in the high and medium categories can master drawing, written text, and mathematical expression indicators. Students in the low category can master drawing and mathematical expression indicators. The results showed that students experienced problems communicating mathematically in conveying ideas orally and in writing. As a result, an error occurred in solving the problem. This research is expected to be a reference for improving students' mathematical communication skills during the learning process.
