Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan peran nilai budaya dalam membentuk perspektif toleran dan intoleran di Madura dengan memfokuskan studi pada kasus konflik Sunni-Syiah di Desa Karanggayam Kecamatan Omben Kabupaten Sampang-Madura. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kualitatif dengan desain penelitian grounded research. Pengumpulan data lapangan dilakukan pada tiga lokasi yakni kecamatan Tanjung Bumi (Bangkalan), Omben (Sampang), dan Galis (Pamekasan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kasus intoleransi agama yang terjadi di Sampang dipicu bukan saja murni karena perbedaan keyakinan, melainkan dipicu oleh faktor lain yakni dendam pribadi yang kemudian merembet ke masalah harga diri dan konflik perbedaan keyakinan. Perbedaan keyakinan ini kemudian menjadi salah satu alat legitimasi radikalisme atas nama agama. (2) Nilai budaya memiliki peran yang sangat kuat dalam membentuk perspektif toleran dan intoleran pada masyarakat Madura. Nilai “harga diri” merupakan salah satu sistem nilai yang melekat kuat serta menjadi karakter dan keyakinan masyarakat di Madura. Melecehkan harga diri orang Madura dapat menjadi sumbu pemicu dalam membentuk perspektif intoleran dan bahkan radikal. (3) Beberapa sistem nilai-budaya masyarakat Madura yang dapat membentuk perspektif toleran antara lain: ajaran settong dere, lakkum diinukum waliadin, dan rokat tase’. Sistem nilai-budaya tersebut dapat menjadi unsur perekat dalam membentuk perspektif toleran masyarakat di Madura.

Abstract

The Merdeka Learning Independent Campus curriculum aims to improve the competence of graduates by equipping students with various types of skills, both soft skills and hard skills needed by the world of work. The development of the Merdeka Learning-Campus Merdeka curriculum in the Trunojoyo Madura University Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Study Program based on individual differences in Higher Education is expected that students can understand the character and diversity of students as a basis for being able to play a role as educators and education personnel, consultants in the field of PAUD and teacherpreneurs. The method used is descriptive research method with quantitative approach. The research subjects were 93 students from the 2021-2023 batch, and 12 lecturers who taught in the PG-PAUD Study Program. The stages of research implementation include: Focus group discussions, workshops, instrument making, field surveys, data processing and analysis, results seminars and socialization. This research was conducted for 3 weeks at Trunojoyo University Madura. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire that contains aspects of curriculum implementation strategies, namely: planning, curricular documents, human resources, administration, infrastructure, and cultural climate. The results of the validation test conducted on 30 items, obtained 26 valid items, and 4 invalid items, so the research team decided to use 26 valid items for the data collection process. The reliability result shows 0.869 which can be categorized that the questionnaire distributed is reliable to describe the curriculum development strategy for independent campus learning based on individual differences in higher education.

Abstract

Abstract The 21st century has a significant impact on the development of education. 21st century education directs students to have higher order thinking skills (HOTS). Furthermore, project-based learning is one of the learning models that is highly recommended to encourage students' HOTS skills. Many applications of project-based learning models have not found the effect of edmodo-based project-based learning on students' HOTS skills. This study aims to determine the effect of edmodo-based project-based learning model on students' Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). This type of research is a meta-analysis. The data source comes from the analysis of 10 national journals indexed by SINTA. Data sources were searched through Researcgate, Google Scholar, DOAJ and Mendeley. Inclusion criteria are that the research comes from SINTA indexed journals, the research must be experimental, the research was published in 2021-2023 and reports complete data for calculating effect size. Statistical analysis using JASP assistance. The results concluded that the edmodo-based project-based learning model had a significant effect on students' HOTS with an average effect size of 1.097 with high effect size criteria. This finding explains that the edmodo-based project-based learning model is effective in improving students' higher order thinking skills (HOTS) with a z value = 6.474; P < 0.001

Abstract

Discovery learning is an active, student-centered teaching method, where students are encouraged to independently explore and build their own understanding of a topic. This model can improve student learning at various levels of Education including higher education. However, there is no comprehensive meta-analysis of the effect size of research models in higher education. This study aims to conduct a meta-analysis of discovery learning interventions in higher education. Data sources come from 13 national and international journals published in 2022-2024. The source data was obtained through the scientific journal database google scholar, ScienceDirect, Wiley and ERIC. The inclusion criteria in this meta-analysis are that the research must be an experimental method; research comes from SINTA or Scopus indexed journals; Research must be relevant to the discovery learning model in higher education; Journals must be open access and have complete data to calculate the effect size. The results of this study concluded that the Discovery learning model had a significant impact applied to universities with an effect size value of 1,062; p < 0.001) with very high effect size criteria. The findings of this study support the use of discovery learning interventions in higher education.

Abstract

The flipped classroom model has become a popular learning model in recent years. This model reverses the traditional concept of learning by moving key learning activities outside the classroom, allowing students to learn independently through videos, modules, or other learning resources. This study aims to analyze the impact of the flipped classroom model on student learning through meta-analysis. The meta-analysis was conducted by collecting and analyzing the results of 14 primary studies examining the effectiveness of the flipped classroom model compared to traditional learning methods. Data analysis is a quantitative analysis with a JSAP application. The results of this study concluded that the meta-analysis results showed that the flipped classroom model had a significant positive impact on student learning with an overall effect size of 0.826; P < 0.001 is included in the high effect size category. The findings show that students who participate in learning with the flipped classroom model have better learning outcomes compared to students who follow traditional learning.
