Abstract

Character education in Indonesia is designed as a systematic effort to instill the behavioral values of students related to God Almighty, oneself, fellow human beings, the environment, and nationality. The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the implementation of the Rahmatan Lil Alamin (RLA) method in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects for character development in Ketawang Gondanglegi Islamic Junior High School Malang. This research method is a qualitative research method with analysis in the form of descriptive narrative. Researchers act as the main instrument, namely planners, implementers, data collectors, analyzers, and reporting research results. The research was conducted through the implementation of lesson plans which included preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. The results obtained indicate that the Rahmatan Lil Alamin (RLA) method is able to strengthen the character education of students at Ketawang Gondanglegi Islamic Junior High School Malang who prioritize the nature of Humanism by applying the values of tasaamuh, islah, muwathanah, taadlul dan musyawarah. The components or indicators needed in learning when implementing the PAI learning method based on Rahmatan Lil Alamin values are more focused on student activity in the learning process or can be called caliph, learning that prioritizes ukhuwah and creates an atmosphere of learning environment that is baldatun tayyibatun warabbun ghofur. The implementation of the Rahmatan Lil Alamin (RLA) method is able to provide comfortable learning through student participation while still making teachers as role models and also facilitators of the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh supervisi pembelajaran, sertifikasi guru dan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah secara parsial dan bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru PAI. Penelitian  ex post facto menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua guru PAI pada Kecamatan Sumberpucung dan Kecamatan Kepanjen Kabupaten Malang. Analisis data menggunakan statistic rumus regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda dengan bantuan komputer program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja guru PAI  di Kabupaten Malang dapat dipengaruhi oleh supervisi pembelajaran, sertifikasi guru dan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, hal ini dinyatakan dengan hasil signifikansi Fhitung 98,685 > Ftabel 2,947. Persamaan regresi ditunjukkan oleh persamaan Ў = 11.758 + .658 X1 + .122 X2 + .201 X3. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan sebesar 88,5 % supervisi pembelajaran, sertifikasi guru, dan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru PAI pada sekolah dasar dan menengah di Kabupaten Malang. Sedangkan sisanya sebesar 11,5 % dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan pelaksanaan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter, taktik dalam membentuk kecerdasan sosial berbasis Value Clarification Technique, dan bentuk pelaksanaan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter berbasis Value Clarification Technique dalam upaya membentuk kecerdasan sosial siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Malang. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yaitu dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi pada obyek penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian data dan kajian teori dari para ahli pendidikan karakter, ditemukan program pelaksanaan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter, taktik dalam membentuk kecerdasan sosial berbasis Value Clarification Technique, dan bentuk pelaksanaan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter berbasis Value Clarification Technique dalam upaya membentuk kecerdasan sosial siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Malang. Kesimpulannya pertama pelaksanaan program Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Malang adalah pembelajaran terintegrasi nilai karakter, ekstrakurikuler; pembiasaan, dan keteladanan, kedua taktik yang digunakan untuk membentuk kecerdasan sosial siswa dalam program Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter berbasis Value Clarification Technique adalah mengintegrasikan nilai karakter dalam kurikulum. Ketiga bentuk pelaksanaan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter berbasis Value Clarification Technique dalam upaya membentuk kecerdasan sosial adalah kegiatan pembelajaran terintegrasi nilai karakter, pembiasaan, dan mengoptimalkan Bimbingan dan Konseling.

Abstract

The Islamic value's substance is actually humankind's noble behaviors, as practiced by the Prophet in his daily life. This study constitutes the main discussion of Islamic values' conceptual and theoretical framework on soft skills. Globally, the term soft skills are introduced and popularized in West Countries by people with no Islamic worldview. This study focuses on elaborating the concept of soft skills (SS) from the Islamic perspective. According to the Islamic viewpoints, the best righteous people are those who can contribute to others through their good deeds. In the society era 5.0, possessing competent human capital is crucial for a Country. This research reviews the precept of al Quran and Hadith as the primary sources of Islamic values in developing the personal quality of Muslims. The study employs a qualitative research method with a literature study design, meaning making through interpretation of the Holy Quran and the Prophet traditions (Hadith). Based on findings, it is known substantively that the Islamic teachings are comprehensive concepts to build and shape the noble behavior of Muslims. Eventually, the researcher offers soft skills formula from an Islamic perspective as a complete concept for creating an excellent personality. Soft skills in the Islamic perspective are morals, good morals, positive behavior, spreading goodness, and bringing many benefits.

Abstract

Manbaul Ulum Islamic boarding school is a classical Salaf educational institution that develops its educational curriculum based not only on nushus sharia but also on maqashidus sharia. Technically, the curriculum development is oriented towards the construction of the character of tawazun, i'tidal, and tawassuth in religion. The research on the development of a religious moderation curriculum is of utmost importance because it aims to prevent extremism, enhance understanding and tolerance among different religions, and instill ethical and moral values within the religious context. This study aims to explore the development of an Islamic education curriculum in building religious moderation in the Islamic boarding school Manbaul Ulum Bondowoso. This research is field research with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained by using data collection instruments in the form of observation, documentation, and interviews. Then the data were analyzed with qualitative data analysis of the Miles and Huberman model. The validity of the data was tested by triangulation. The results showed that first, the Manbaul Ulum Islamic boarding school developed a pesantren learning curriculum based on maqashid shari'ah and not only on nushus shari'ah, which in this case has the principles of Tawazun, I'tidal, and Tawassuth  in thinking and acting; second, the curriculum developed at the Manbaul Ulum Islamic boarding school is oriented to build religious moderation in the students so that they can preach it after associating with the wider community.   Keywords: Islamic Education Curriculum, Manbaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Religious Moderation

Abstract

The legal system in Indonesia has its characteristics. The influence of Dutch law in the legal system in Indonesia is quite dominant. Customary law and Islamic law are also accommodated in Indonesian national law. Another thing that comes from fiqh muamalah (Islamic jurisprudence of economics) and gets government attention is related to the conceptual issue of zakat and its management in particular. This research uses qualitative with the descriptive method of analysis. Moreover, to sharpen the analysis results the authors also accommodate the discussions and unstructured interview results with the concerned parties such as colleague researchers, and experts about the theme raised by the author. The results of the study indicate that the optimal implementation of zakat will be able to bridge the gap between rich and poor. As with taxes, zakat is also a part of state revenue, therefore the linkage between tax and zakat is very close.

Abstract

Implementing society empowerment models is crucial for addressing micro-level problems where government services often fall short. Despite evidence that social capital significantly contributes to development and poverty reduction, there remains a gap in understanding specific strategies and outcomes of social capital-based empowerment initiatives. This study aims to fill this gap by investigating the unique learning concept of Pesantren Rakyat Sumberpucung (PRS), which emphasizes low- cost, independent, flexible, and mutual assistance principles. Utilizing framework which includes structural opportunity to meet, know-how of social interaction, sense of belonging, and ethos of mutuality, this study employed qualitative research design. Data were gathered through participant observation, semi-structured interviews with village-level stakeholders, in-depth interviews and focus group discussion. The results indicate that the integrative model known as "Pancarukun," which includes initiatives such as Jagong Mathon, Celengan, Ngaji Ngluruk, Lumbung Pesantren Rakyat, and Fatehahan, effectively strengthens socio-cultural-religious networks, fostering harmony and cooperation between PRS and the community. These strategies have successfully promoted a spirit of togetherness and consistent collaboration. In conclusion, PRS’s approach demonstrates the potential of integrative community-based strategies to address diverse problems across sectors such as economy, agriculture, education, and culture. By leveraging social capital, PRS has created a sustainable model of community empowerment that can serve as a blueprint for similar initiatives.

Abstract

The research itself was approached through a multi-case study within the qualitative method. The main instrument in qualitative method was a researcher himself which collected the data from three activities such as interview, observation as well as documentation study. The result of this study has shown that soft skills are a crucial aspect for enhancing individual performance. Although, in formal education found that academics or hard skills have become main priority in school and formal education institutions. Thence, most efforts in education best practices always pay attention to the hard skills rather than soft skills. In fact, some researches shown that soft skills are important and crucial aspect to be improved in order to increase the understanding of hard skills or technical matters. Despite of the national education policy admitted indirectly that soft skills are a priority but in field and practices not all stakeholders such as teacher and school principals implement the best program to improve soft skills instead of hard skills.

Abstract

Currently, religion is one of the most frequently discussed issues. There are many divisions and animosities among Muslims because of different views, both from political views, religious views, and even culture. This condition is found in various cases of radical thought movements and ideas that have grown and developed in this country. Such as a series of cases of violence in the name of religion that often occur in various regions in Indonesia, the destruction of places of worship, the rejection of different groups, and several suicide bombings are cases that have captured the attention of the world public. This study aims to determine Aswaja values in Ma'arif learning, to know the implementation of Ma'arif learning in instilling Aswaja values. This descriptive qualitative article aims to identify the implementation of Ma’arif learning in instilling Aswaja values. The findings of this study include the Aswaja values applied to Ma’arif learning at SD NU Hasanuddin Dilem 02 Malang, including the value of tawassut, i’tidal, tawazun and tasamuh. The implementation of Ma’arif learning as a medium for instilling the value of Aswaja is in the subjects of Fiqh, Al-Quran Hadith, Islamic Civilization and Aqidah Akhlak. The supporting factors are the environment and daily Aswaja activities, while the inhibiting factors are the lack of time allocation and learning that is considered less interesting. From this study, schools can create programs that hone students' knowledge and social skills. Schools can also provide more learning allocations and learning is implemented in a more attractive way for students. Saat ini, agama adalah salah satu isu yang paling sering dibicarakan. Banyak perpecahan dan permusuhan di kalangan umat Islam karena perbedaan pandangan, baik dari pandangan politik, pandangan agama, bahkan budaya. Kondisi ini bisa dijumpai dari berbagai gerakan dan paham radikal yang tumbuh dan berkembang di tanah air ini. Seperti serangkaian kasus kekerasan mengatasnamakan agama sering terjadi di berbagai daerah di Indonesia, perusakan rumah-rumah ibadah, penolakan terhadap kelompok yang berbeda, dan sejumlah tragedi bom bunuh diri merupakan kasus yang menyita perhatian publik dunia. Artikel ini bertujuan mengetahui nilai-nilai Aswaja dalam pembelajaran Ma’arif dan implementasi pembelajaran Ma’arif dalam penanaman nilai-nilai Aswaja. Artikel kualitatif deskriptif ini bertujuan menjelaskan implementasi pembelajaran Ma’arif dalam penanaman nilai-nilai Aswaja. Temuan artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Aswaja yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Ma’arif di SD NU Hasanuddin Dilem 02 Malang meliputi nilai-nilai tawassut, i’tidal, tawazun dan tasamuh. Implementasi pembelajaran Ma’arif sebagai media untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai Aswaja melalui mata pelajaran Fikih, Al-Quran Hadis, Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam dan Akidah akhlak. Faktor-faktor pendukungnya adalah lingkungan sekitar dan kegiatan Aswaja harian, sedangkan faktor-faktor penghambatnya adalah kurangnya alokasi waktu dan pembelajaran yang dirasa kurang menarik. Implikasi artikel ini, sekolah dapat menyusun program-program yang dapat mengasah pengetahuan dan keterampilan sosial peserta didik. Serta menyediakan waktu pembelajaran yang memadai dan penerapan pembelajaran yang lebih menarik bagi para peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Aswaja, Implementasi Belajar, Pembelajaran Ma’arif, Nilai-Nilai Aswaja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh buruknya sebagian akhlak pemuda di lingkungan yang religius, yaitu di Desa Jorongan Kecamatan Leces Kabupaten Probolinggo. Desa Jorongan merupakan salah satu dari sepuluh desa yang tersebar di wilayah Kecamatan Leces Kabupaten Probolinggo. Desa Jorongan terkenal dengan desa industri meubel, dan tempat ini juga terkenal dengan banyaknya Lembaga Pendidikan Islam, seperti TPQ, Madrasah Diniyah, dan Pondok Pesantren. Pengajaran Non formal seperti majelis taklim juga banyak dijumpai dilingkungan masyarakat Jorongan. Namun banyaknya lembaga dan kegiatan keagamaan di Desa Jorongan tidak sejalan dengan kondisi akhlak pemudanya, terbukti banyak dijumpai anak-anak remaja (pemuda) yang mabuk-mabukan, melawan orang tua, serta ada yang terlibat pengedar bahkan pemakai obatobatan terlarang (narkoba). Penilitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menggambarkan informasi terdiri dari : Ketua Majelis taklim Rotibul Haddad, Pengurus majelis taklim Rotibul Haddad, jamaah, tokoh masyarakat, dan pemuda Desa Jorongan. Sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dicapai menggunakan pengamatan secara tekun. Hasil penelitian Program Majelis Taklim Rotibul Haddad dalam mengubah perilaku pemuda di Desa Jorongan Kecamatan Leces Kabupaten Probolinggo, meliputi temuan-temuan : (Program majelis taklim), a. Melaksanakan Syiar Islam melalui dzikir sholawat Rotib, b. Melaksanakan pengajaran melalui kajiankajian kitab, c.Mengamalkan Akidah Ahlussunnah Waljamaa’ah, d. Menanamkan Akhlakul karimah, e. Menanamkan budaya sosial yang baik, (Penerapan program majelis taklim), a.Membuat perencanaan program, b.Membuat kerangka program , c.Mengatur dan membagi tugas kerja pengurus, d.Implementasi program kerja dengan kajian-kajian kitab, e.Evaluasi program kerja, (Hasil penerapan majelis taklim), a. Hasil positif, Menjadi wadah pemersatu ummat, meningkatkan keimanan, melunakkan hati yang keras, menumbuhkan rasa cinta kepada baginda Nabi Muhammad Saw, dan menanamkan Akhlak yang mulia. b. Kendala, Terbatasnya waktu kajian, terbatasnya komunikasi dengan jamaah, penyaji terkadang tidak hadir,faktor cuaca, dan jamaah terkadang telat dan tidak memahami topik bahasan.
