Abstract

Masalah sampah organik di pedesaan sering kali menjadi tantangan dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat. Desa Kalimanggiskulon, yang terletak di bagian timur Kabupaten Kuningan, Jawa Barat mengalami kesulitan dalam mengelola sampah organik secara efektif. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan teknologi Biopori sebagai solusi berkelanjutan dalam pengolahan sampah organik. Biopori merupakan metode pembuatan lubang-lubang kecil di tanah yang diisi dengan sampah organik untuk meningkatkan infiltrasi air dan mempercepat proses dekomposisi. Pelatihan dan pendampingan dilakukan untuk memastikan keberhasilan penerapan metode ini. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya pengelolaan sampah organik dan dampak positif dari penggunaan Biopori, termasuk penurunan volume sampah organik yang dibuang dan peningkatan kualitas tanah. Selain itu, telah berhasil dibuat satu lubang Biopori percontohan yang dapat dijadikan referensi bagi warga lainnya dalam penerapan teknologi ini. Kesimpulannya, teknologi Biopori terbukti sebagai solusi yang efektif dan berkelanjutan dalam pengelolaan sampah organik di Desa Kalimanggiskulon, yang dapat diadopsi oleh desa-desa lain dengan kondisi serupa.

Abstract

Desa Kalimanggiskulon memiliki potensi ekonomi yang besar melalui Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Namun, kurangnya literasi keuangan dan digital sering kali menjadi kendala utama dalam pengembangan usaha tersebut. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan UMKM di Desa Kalimanggiskulon melalui edukasi literasi keuangan dan digital. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan intensif, pendampingan, dan monitoring berkelanjutan kepada para pelaku UMKM. Pelatihan literasi keuangan mencakup pengelolaan keuangan, perencanaan bisnis, dan akses terhadap layanan keuangan formal. Sedangkan pelatihan literasi digital berfokus pada penggunaan teknologi digital untuk pemasaran, pengelolaan operasional, dan peningkatan daya saing di pasar. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan para pelaku UMKM yang memproduksi keripik pisang dan gemblong dalam mengelola keuangan dan memanfaatkan teknologi digital, yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan kinerja dan keberlanjutan usaha mereka.

Abstract

The competence of teachers is a crucial aspect that warrants increased attention in order to ensure the success of the teaching process.This study aims to determine whether teacher competence mediates the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance in private high schools throughout Kuningan Regency; To find out that compensation mediates the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance in private high schools throughout Kuningan Regency. This research is categorized as a type of quantitative research with survey techniques. The data analysis technique used is parallel multiple mediator models. And the sample used is 131 teachers in private high schools in Kuningan Regency. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: Principal leadership influences teacher performance. This means that the more effective the principal's leadership, the higher the teacher's performance; Teacher competence fully mediates the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance in Private High Schools throughout Kuningan; Teacher compensation partially mediates the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance in private high schools throughout Kuningan.

Abstract

The problem behind this community service is related to the low interest in reading for school-age children and inactive Nusa Persada youth organization in Kalimanggiswetan village. Therefore, the solution offered to solve this problem is by establishing a Taman Baca directly and coaching youth groups in managing the Taman Baca. This Taman Baca was established in Pahing hamlet, precisely at the Village Hall, Kalimanggiswetan. Pahing Hamlet was chosen as Taman Baca location due to a relatively high population of children. In addition, Pahing Hamlet, which is also the Karang Taruna basecamp, has a very strategic location and is easy to reach by the children of the Kalimanggiswetan village. Several series of activities in this service include outreach to community members and schools, exposure and counseling about the importance of Taman Baca by several lecturers, coordination with the Village Government and Youth Organizations in preparing a place for Taman Baca, providing reading materials, equipment and supplies for Taman Baca, carrying out teaching and assistance activities for children that focus on improving literacy both cultural and digital literacy. Regarding the evaluation, the Village Head is also involved to encourage the success of the establishment of Taman Baca and to monitor the success of the program and monitor the sustainability of this Taman Baca.

Abstract

AbstrakPermasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah tingkat resiliensi mahasiswa yang cenderung masih rendah. Hal ini ditunjukan oleh perilaku mahasiswa yang tidak percaya dengan kemampuan diri sehingga memilih untuk mencontek saat mengerjakan tugas dan ujian. Selain itu ketidakpercayaan diri atas kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa juga terlihat saat aktifitas pembelajaran didalam kelas, aktivitas bertanya dan analisa sebagai aktivitas yang memberatkan, serta rendahnya daya juang siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas yang diberikan oleh dosen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh Bagaimana pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap tingat resiliensi mahasiswa FKIP UNIKU. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan analisis deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan populasi yaitu seluruh mahasiswa FKIP UNIKU tingkat I angkatan 2021/2022 sebanyak 305 orang mahasiswa yang berasal dari Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi, Pendidikan Biologi, Pendidikan Matematika, Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris dan Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia. Sedangkan sampel yang diperoleh berdasarkan rumus slovin, diperoleh ukuran sampel sebanyak 173 orang mahasiswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan kuesioner yang mengukur skala sikap, perilaku dan kognitif dengan 5 (lima) alternatif jawaban. Adapun Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan path analysis (analisis jalur). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengujian diketahui bahwa kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual berpengaruh terhadap tingkat resiliensi mahasiswa. Hal ini berarti bahwa semakin baik kecerdasan emosional dan spiritual yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa maka tingkat resiliensi yang dimiliki mahasiswa juga akan semakin baik. Kata kunci: kecerdasan emosional; kecerdasan spiritual; resiliensi AbstractThe problem behind this research is the level of resilience of students who tend to be still low. This is shown by the behavior of students who do not believe in their own abilities so they choose to cheat when doing assignments and exams. In addition, the lack of self-confidence in the abilities possessed by students is also seen during learning activities in the classroom, questioning and analyzing activities as burdensome activities, and the low fighting power of students in completing tasks given by lecturers. This study aims to determine how the influence of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on the resilience. The method used in this research is a survey method with descriptive and verification analysis with the population, namely all FKIP UNIKU level I students in the 2021/2022 batch of 305 students from the Economics Education, Biology Education, Mathematics Education, English Education and Indonesian Language Education Study Programs. Meanwhile, the sample obtained based on the Slovin formula, obtained a sample size of 173 students. The sampling technique used is Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The instrument used in this study is to use a questionnaire that measures attitude, behavior and cognitive scales with 5 alternative. The data analysis technique used is to use path analysis. Based on the results of the research, it is known that emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence affect the level of student resilience. Abstract

AbstrakPermasalahan yang melatarbelakangi peneliti ini adalah masih rendahnya kemampuan berpikir analisis siswa SMKN 2 Kuningan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir analisis siswa; untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir analisis siswa antara siswa dengan tingkat motivasi belajar tinggi, dan rendah; untuk mengetahui interaksi antara penggunaan model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap kemampuan berpikir analisis siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Factorial Design. Instrument dalam penelitian adalah soal PGK yang mengukur kemampuan analisis siswa dan angket motivasi untuk mengukur motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil analisis dan pengujian dengan menggunakan Two Way Anova diketahui: terdapat perbedaan antara kemampuan berpikir analisis siswa yang menggunakan model PjBL Berbantu Aplikasi Akuntansi UKM dengan model PjBL murni pada mata pelajaran Praktikum Akuntansi Perusahaan Jasa, Dagang dan Manufaktur. Dimana kemampuan berpikir analisis siswa yang menggunakan model PjBL Berbantu Aplikasi Akuntansi UKM lebih unggul dibandingkan kemampuan berpikir analisis siswa yang menggunakan model Project Based Learning murni; terdapat perbedaan antara kemampuan berpikir analisis siswa yang memiliki motivasi tinggi, sedang dan motivasi rendah baik di kelas yang menggunakan model PjBL Berbantu Aplikasi Akuntansi UKM maupun kelas yang menggunakan model PjBL murni; terdapat interaksi antara model PjBL Berbantu Aplikasi Akuntansi UKM, dengan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan berpikir analisis siswa. Kata kunci: kemampuan berpikir analisis; project based learning; aplikasi akuntansi AbstractThe background problem of this research is the low analytical thinking ability of students of SMKN 2 Kuningan. The purpose of the study was to determine the difference in students' analytical thinking ability; to determine the difference in students' analytical thinking ability between students with high, and low learning motivation levels; to determine the interaction between the use of learning models and student learning motivation on students' analytical thinking ability. The method used is quasi experiment with Factorial Design research design. The instruments in the study were PGK questions that measured students' analytical thinking ability and motivation questionnaire to measure students' learning motivation. The results of analysis and testing using Two Way Anova are known: There is a difference between the analytical thinking skills of students who use the PjBL model assisted by the SME Accounting Application and the pure PjBL model in the Accounting Practicum subject of Service, Trading and Manufacturing Companies. Where the analytical thinking skills of students who use the SME Accounting Application Assisted PjBL model are superior to the analytical thinking skills of students who use the pure Project Based Learning model; There is a difference between the analytical thinking skills of students who have high, medium and low motivation both in classes that use the SME Accounting Application Assisted PjBL model and classes that use the pure PjBL model; There is an interaction between the SME Accounting Application Assisted PjBL model, with learning motivation on students' analytical thinking skills. Keywords: analytical thinking ability; project based learning; accounting application

Abstract

This study aims to determine the direct and indirect effects of entrepreneurial behavior based on religious values, achievement drive, and internal locus of control on business performance. Data collection utilizes questionnaires with a purposive sampling technique totaling 100 MSME entrepreneurs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in Kuningan Regency. Data analysis used Path Analysis with SPSS statistical software to determine the variables’ direct and indirect effects. According to the findings of the study, 1) Entrepreneurial behavior based on religious values has a significant and positive influence on business performance. 2) need for achievement mediates the influence of entrepreneurial behavior based on religious values on business performance. 3) internal locus of control does not mediate the influence of entrepreneurial behavior based on religious values on business performance. The main finding of this study is that the need for achievement has a greater influence on the business performance of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) both directly and indirectly. The results of the study show that the need for achievement has a greater direct and indirect influence on business performance indicating that the need for achievement reflects strong personality characteristics to become a successful entrepreneur.

Abstract

The integration of technology into teaching is critical for preparing educators to meet the demands of 21st-century classrooms, particularly in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) contexts. This study investigates the factors influencing the development of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) among preservice English teachers, addressing gaps in existing research that often overlooks this group. Using a mixed-methods approach, quantitative data from 30 participants were collected via a validated TPACK questionnaire, while qualitative insights were gathered through in-depth interviews with a purposive sample of 10 preservice teachers. The findings highlight significant variability in TPACK levels, with technological knowledge emerging as the most challenging domain. Four key factors—access to technological resources, mentorship from experienced teachers, prior experience with technology, and professional development opportunities—were identified as crucial for TPACK development. Limited access to resources and insufficient training were common barriers, whereas mentorship and prior exposure to technology positively influenced confidence and adaptability. The study concludes that tailored interventions, such as resource provision, mentorship programs, and technology-focused training workshops, are essential for enhancing preservice teachers' TPACK proficiency. Educational institutions must prioritize these measures to equip future educators with the skills needed for effective technology integration. Further research is recommended to explore these factors across diverse educational contexts to inform comprehensive strategies for improving teacher education programs.Keywords: TPACK; preservice teachers; EFL, technology integration; mentorship; teacher training; professional development

Abstract

Background: A crucial issue in teacher education today is ensuring that PTs are well prepared to integrate technology into their future classrooms. This study examines the implementation of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) among preservice English teachers in planning and implementing learning, as well as the barriers they face and their solutions.Methodology: This study used a case study research design to explore in depth how PTs apply the TPACK framework in real classroom situations. The participants in this study consisted of five PTs from teacher education programs at four universities in Indonesia.Findings: PTs generally show good alignment between technology use, pedagogical strategies, and content in their lesson plans, but are often not optimally integrated during implementation. The main barriers identified include limited access to and technology resources, differences in technology skill levels between students and teachers, students' difficulties in adapting to technology-based learning, and time management issues. The solutions are to provide device assistance to students in need, provide basic technology training and plan carefully and provide realistic time for students to adapt to technology and complete assignmentsConclusion: To enhance technology integration in education, universities must prioritize providing device assistance and basic tech training for PTs. By addressing these barriers, educators can better support effective technology use in the classroom, ultimately improving student learning outcomes.Originality: How pre-service teachers, who are the next generation of educators, develop and implement TPACK during their preparation and learning phases. In particular, there is very little research that specifically explores the implementation of TPACK in the classroom by PTs, as well as a lack of exploration of the challenges faced by them and the strategies used in the TPACK integration process.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa MI Plus An Nur, Kabupaten Kuningan. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah kurangnya praktik berbicara, keterbatasan akses sumber belajar, serta minimnya metode pembelajaran yang menarik. Solusi yang ditawarkan meliputi sesi dialog interaktif, permainan peran, workshop berbicara, penyediaan materi pembelajaran, serta penggunaan teknologi sederhana berupa aplikasi edukatif offline dan permainan papan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari tahapan persiapan, sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan, pendampingan, evaluasi, hingga keberlanjutan program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa lebih percaya diri dalam menggunakan kosakata bahasa Inggris, antusias mengikuti aktivitas, serta mampu menguasai minimal 10 kosakata baru dari setiap pertemuan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan keterampilan bahasa Inggris siswa dan mendukung pencapaian SDG 4: Pendidikan Berkualitas.
