Abstract

Raman River is located in Purwoasri Village, North Metro District, Metro City. People use this river for various purposes, namely irrigation for rice fields , fisheries, transportation, tourism, and other uses. The increasing use of rivers by the community might caused a negative impact to the waters quality and affect the organisms living there, such as macrozobenthos. The purpose of this study was to analyze the pollution status of the Raman River waters based on the macrozoobenthos community structure. Sampling was done from April to Mei 2020. The research location was determined using a survey method and the sampling was carried out by purposive sampling. The data obtained were analyzed using Abudance-Biomass Comparison (ABC) method. The analysis showed that Raman River is moderately contaminated.Keywords: macrozoobenthos, Raman River, pollution stastus

Abstract

Ikan tawes (Barbonymus gonionotus) merupakan salah satu jenis ikan air tawar yang ada di indonesia, selain itu ikan ini juga mempunyai nilai ekonomis tinggi dan banyak ditangkap oleh nelayan, khususnya di Perairan Bendungan Way Sekampung. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan September Desember 2024, yang mencangkup sampel sebanyak 417 ekor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk untuk mendapatkan informasi terkait biologi populasi ikan tawes yang diperlukan dalam rangka pengelolaan. Estimasi pola pertumbuhan, faktor kondisi, parameter pertumbuhan, mortalitas dan laju eksploitasi dihitung menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel dan FISAT II. Hasil terkait hubungan panjang bobot adalah W= 0,019L2,8083 untuk jantan; W= 0,0087L3,1112 untuk betina; dan W= 0,0113L2,9982 untuk gabungan. Faktor kondisi relatif beragam dari 0,8989 1,4867. Ikan tawes jantan mempunyai kondisi yang lebih baik daripada ikan betina. Parameter pertumbuhan Von Bertalanffy ikan tawes jantan mempunyai panjang infinitif (L∞)= 282,58 mm dengan laju pertumbuhan (K)= 0,81/tahun, dan laju eksploitasi (E)= 0,07 yang termasuk kedalam under exploited. ikan tawes betina mempunyai panjang infinitif (L∞)= 361,20 mm dengan laju pertumbuhan (K)= 1,5/tahun, dan laju eksploitasi (E)= 0,78 yang termasuk kedalam over exploited. Serta untuk keseluruhan ikan tawes mempunyai panjang infinitif (L∞)= 378 mm dengan laju pertumbuhan (K)= 1,4/tahun, dan laju eksploitasi (E)= 0,74 yang termasuk kedalam under exploited.
