Abstract

The application of LoRAWAN on Internet of Things (IoT) technology is  to communicate in real time and accommodate data from many nodes based on device addresses. LoRAWAN device communication is able to reach distances of up to kilometers with low cost, compared to high-frequency cellular communication currently installed on the coast. This application can be done on LoRA devices to forward the results of three-dimensional localization based on signal strength. This research was  to conduct three-dimensional localization based on signal strength from three LoRa End Nodes (EN) to four LoRa Anchor Nodes (AN), then forwarded to the server to be displayed on the Datacakes application. Localization begins with a path loss model analysis to determine the path loss coefficient. The localization results were  in the form of data packets consisting of longitude, latitude, and altitude position parameters and the results of the EN to AN distance conversion. The data packet was  forwarded to the The Things Networks (TNN) server with Over The Air Activation (OTAA) activation mode. Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) analysis of the localization results for EN1 was  169.35 meters, EN2 was  395.08 meters and EN3 was  183.24 meters. The localization data packets were  forwarded to the cloud server via the GW device. Analysis of GW communication with EN is shown by the Packet Error Ratio (PER), Air Time (AT), and latency parameters. The smallest PER results, fastest AT and lowest latency were  obtained from GW communication with EN2, where the position of EN2 was  closest to GW among the other ENs.

Abstract

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is one of low power Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN) Technology. BLE has high data transfer rate at a low range, but implementation of BLE is easier than other WPANs. Distance conversion in wireless communication is a challenge in itself for the accuracy of distance estimation, one of them is the RSSI parameter. The RSSI fluctuating value generated by BLE caused by multipath fading and noise phenomena in observation environment. This article aims to apply the Kalman Filter to fine-tune the RSSI value so that the distance estimation to be precise. Testing was carried out in environment with many obstacles, on a BLE multi-node systems. The test results prove that the Kalman filter can correct the distance estimation error by 27.48\%. In addition, the results of this distance conversion are sent by LoRa communication to be displayed on the website page.

Abstract

Pendidikan Taman Kanak-kanak (TK) adalah pendidikan yang sangat penting untuk menyiapkan generasi yang terdidik untuk bangsa dan negara, dimana peranan tenaga pendidik TK sangat penting untuk perkembangan anak didiknya. Tenaga pendidik bukan hanya melakukan pembelajaran yang konvensional, melainkan tenaga pendidik harus memberikan inovasi dalam hal pembelajarannya dengan sentuhan teknologi, dimulai kemampuan untuk penggunaan dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi saat ini.Penekanan Program Kemitraan Masyrakat (PKM) ini mengacu pada peningkatan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia tenaga pendidik TK Bina Aprasa dalam bidang Teknologi Informasi agar dapat mendukung kinerja dalam hal administrasi dan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Beberapa pokok penting penekanan peningkatan kualitas tenaga pendidik TK dalam bidang Teknologi Informasi mengacu pada penguasaan dan implementasi aplikasi Google seperti Google Docs, Google Form, Google Slide dan Google Sheet serta media sosial seperti blog atau wordpress untuk mentransfer informasi ke masyarakat. Pemilihan lokasi mitra PKM TK Bina Aprasa selain karena peringkat akreditasi TK ini masih C selama 23 tahun berdiri, pemahaman tentang aplikasi Google dan Internet masih sangat minim. Selain itu belum memiliki media sosial untuk berbagi informasi kepada masyarakat. Oleh karena itu pada jangka pendek diperlukan PKM yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas tenaga pendidik dalam bidang Teknologi Informasi dan dalam jangka panjangnya dapat mewujudkan TK Berbasiskan Internet.

Abstract

Multicarrier modulation technique as Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is able to vanishIntersymbol Interferences (ISI) caused by multipathchannel. Merging with multi- antenna transmission techniques such asMIMO become MIMO- OFDM system is able to improve (data rate transmission)the transmission of data and capacity of the system. Pilot channel estimation technique with the algorithm Linear Minimum Mean Square Error (LMMSE) with modulation m-PSK is applied in this study. The results obtained in the form of graphs BER against EbNo which shows that the system performance with LMMSEestimator has a different gain for QPSKmodulation better about 0.75 dB, for 8 PSKmodulation is about 1.5 dB and for 16 PSKmodulation around 1 dB compare to LS estimator. Number of the largest antenna both in the transmitter and receiver produce the best system performance. Observation for QPSKmodulation shows a scheme transmitter- receiver antenna 4x2 having gain approximately 9 dB better than the number of the lowest transmitter antenna(1x2). For scheme 4x4 shows gain around 8,5 dB than the number of the lowest receiver antenna.Keywords:MIMO, OFDM,LS, LMMSE, MPSK.
