Abstract

Jumlah sampah yang ditimbun di TPA Kota Agung mencapai 9,73 ton per hari berdasarkan data per tahun 2018 yang secara keseluruhan tidak terkelola dimana dominasi  sampah rumah tangga mencapai 87,75 % dengan komposisi sekitar 55,20 % adalah sampah organik, 16 % sampah sisa makanan, dan sisanya sampah anorganik.  Kegiatan ini didasari oleh rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat dan kurangnya kepedulian terhadap pengelolaan sampah.  Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) dengan Program Tabung Biru Komposter Sampah Dapur Rumah Tangga (Tabur Kompas Darat) ini adalah drum composting yang diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu solusi untuk meminimalisir penumpukan sampah organik khususnya sampah dapur, sampah sayuran, sampah sisa makanan.  Pengomposan dengan memanfaatkan sampah organik tersebut diperoleh pupuk kompos dan pupuk organik cair (POC) yang secara langsung dapat dimanfaatkan oleh petani khususnya di Desa Kedamaian, Kota Agung, Tanggamus, Provinsi Lampung, Indonesia. Selain itu, program ini sebagai sarana untuk mengedukasi dalam rangka meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran, keterampilan, serta membangun kerjasama tripartit melalui perguruan tinggi, perangkat desa, dan masyarakat yang diwakili oleh BUMDES untuk menerapkan pengelolaan sampah yang mandiri dan terpadu dengan konsep reuse, reduce, dan recycle (3R).

Abstract

Kepengurusan BUMDes Sari Makmur Pekon Lugusari sebagian masih diisi oleh aparat pekon, padahal keberadaan badan ini sangat diharapkan dapat mengangkat ekonomi masyarakat melalui berbagai usaha ekonomi produktif yang berpotensi untuk dapat dikembangkan. Kegiatan ini secara umum bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas SDM pengurus dan aparat pekon dalam mengelola dan mengembangkan BUMDes Sari Makmur secara produktif, profesional, dan berkelanjutan. Secara khusus kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk: meningkatkan kemampuan pengurus dalam pengelolaan dan pengembangan BUMDesa secara profesional; (2) meningkatkan produktivitas usaha ekonomi yang dijalankan BUMDes; (3) meningkatkan kemampuan pengurus dalam memanfaatkan peluang usaha, dan (4) meningkatkan kemampuan dan ketrampilan pengurus dalam perolehan sumber modal usaha. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut tim melakukan kegiatan berupapenyuluhan bagi pengurus/calon pengurus. Topik materi dalam pelatihan adalah pengisian buku administrasi, pembukuan keuangan sederhana, penyusunan proposal pengembangan modal usaha dan pelaksanaan diskusi.Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan: (1) Pengelolaan BUMDes Sari Makmur oleh pengurus periode 2017-2021 dinilai belum optimal dalam memanfaatkan peluang usaha yang ada. Kepengurusan baru akan dimusyawarahkan pada bulan November 2021, dengan memasukkan personil yang lebih gesit dan lebih berintegritas; (2) Pengetahuan peserta tentang pentingnya penguatan kelembagaan BUMDes, penerapan fungsi manajemen dalam BUMDes, pengembangan unit usaha, dan pengembangan modal BUMDes meningkat sebesar 19,80 poin; (3) Diperlukan tindak lanjut implementasi hasil penyuluhan dengan melakukan pelatihan analisis pengembangan usaha dan perencanaan bisnis yang akan dilakukan oleh BUMDes Sari Makmur agar kontribusinya terhadap pendapatan asli desa lebih meningkat

Abstract

Hajimena Village is part of the Natar District which is directly adjacent to the Bandar Lampung City area, so that garbage disposal also enters from Bandar Lampung. The introduction and application of the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) principle or the reduction, reuse and recycling of waste is one of the approaches in waste management. Inorganic waste can be converted into handicrafts that can be sold, especially plastic waste can be or processed into paving blocks. The Department of Chemistry Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences University of Lampung, Community Service Team carried out community service activities aimed at increasing public awareness and participation in managing waste independently, reducing plastic waste and being a source of income for BUMDES. The activity of making paving blocks with variations of plastic waste, used oil, rice husks, and sand using simple technology and tools. The results of community service activities can be seen from the evaluation results in the form of measuring the achievement of specific instructional goals (ICT) from activities carried out using pre-test and post-test given to participants. The results show that there has been an increase in ICT for each participant after this service activity was carried out, it can be seen that each ICT has increased with an average increase of about 60.4%. This shows that public knowledge about plastic waste has increased significantly. So that the processing of plastic waste can be an opportunity to increase the income of the Hajimena village community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the demand pattern of vegetables (water spinach, cassava leaves, and eggplant) and the factors that affected the demand of vegetables at warteg restaurants in Bandar Lampung City. The location was determined purposely (purposive method). The number of the respondents in this study were 50 warteg restaurants, taken by proportional random sampling methods. Data were collected from December 2020 to February 2021, taken by interview techniques. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis methods and multiple regression analysis models. The results showed that the average demand for vegetables from warteg restaurant was 8,5 kg of spinach water per week, 7,9 kg of cassava leaves per week and 3 kg of eggplant per week. The average purchase frequency amounted to 3,58 time per week for spinach water, 3,08 time per week for cassava leaves and 1,26 time per week for eggplant. The types of vegetables menu were stir-fried water spinach, cassava curry vegetables, and eggplant sauce. The restaurant owner usually bought the vegetables at the traditional market. Furthermore, factors affecting demand of vegetables are the price of water spinach, the price of cassava leaves, the price of eggplant, the price of tempe, the price of egg, the price of chicken meat, number of restaurant menu, restaurant income and the price of vegetables dishes.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the performance of red chili agribusiness system at Tunas Harapan Farmer Group in Binjai Ngagung Village, Bekri Sub District, Central Lampung. The performance of red chili agribusiness system that is assessed consists of procurement of the production facilities subsystem, the farming subsystem, the processing subsystem, the marketing subsystem, and the supporting services system. This research was conducted from December 2021 to January 2022. The basic method used in this research is a case study method involving 42 red chili farmers who are members of farmer groups, 4 traders who were selected by the census method, 2 wholesalers, and 2 retailers who were selected by the snowball sampling method. The data analysis method was carried out using the agribusiness system index. The results showed that the red chili agribusiness system in the Tunas Harapan Farmer Group still was not good with a total score of 13,83 from a maximum value of 18,90 or 73,17%. The subsystem index for the procurement of production, farming, processing facilities, and supporting services are in the good category. Meanwhile, the index of the marketing subsystem is not good.

Abstract

Unggas penghasil telur terbesar kedua setelah ayam ras petelur adalah burung puyuh petelur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan finansial terhadap usaha burung puyuh petelur di Kecamatan Pringsewu Kabupaten Pringsewu dan menganalisis sensitivitas terhadap produksi telur puyuh, harga jual telur puyuh, dan biaya pakan. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari-Februari 2022. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu NPV, IRR, Gross B/C Ratio, Net B/C Ratio, PP, dan analisis sensitivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha burung puyuh petelur di Kecamatan Pringsewu, Kabupaten Pringsewu layak secara finansial untuk dilanjutkan dengan nilai NPV sebesar Rp150.699.307,00, IRR sebesar 18,49%, Gross B/C sebesar 1,05, Net B/C sebesar 1,83, dan PP sebesar 5,25 tahun. Analisis sensitivitas usaha burung puyuh petelur menunjukkan bahwa usaha tersebut sensitif terhadap penurunan produksi telur puyuh, penurunan harga jual telur puyuh, dan kenaikan biaya pakan dan usaha ini tidak layak untuk dilanjutkan bila terjadi penurunan produksi sebesar 4%, penurunan harga jual sebesar 4,1%, dan kenaikan biaya pakan sebesar 7%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the production performance and added value of cassava chips agroindustry in Ganjar Asri Village, West Metro District of Metro City. Respondents of this study are the owners of agro-industry cassava chips.  Data were collected from March to April 2021. The analytical methods used are quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis and Hayami’s Value-Added Analysis. The results show that the procurement of raw materials with six components, namely the time and place of both agroindustries is not correct, while the components of price, type, quality, and quantity are right. The production performance of both agroindustries, on indicators of productivity, production capacity, quality, delivery speed, and process speed are appropriate, and flexibility indicators can not be said to be good because the flexibility of both agroindustries has not been optimal. Agroindustry cassava chips provide an added value greater than zero NT > 0 or positive, so both agroindustries are worth to be developed. The marketing channels carried out by both cassava chip agroindustries are producers - retailers – consumers. Keywords: added value, agroindustry, cassava, marketing.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze farm income, farmer household income level, farmer household expenditure, and farmer household welfare level.  The research location is determined purposively at Balik Bukit District, West Lampung Regency.  Furthermore the research uses a survey method and is carried out from January to February 2020.  The data analysis used in this research is qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. Quantitative analysis is used to determine the amount of farmer income, farmer household income and household expenditure level of cabbage farmers, while qualitative descriptive analysis is used to analyze the welfare level of cabbage farmers' households. The results showed that cabbage farming run by cabbage farmers was very profitable because the R/C value of the total cost was more than one. The largest source of income (74.65%) was came from cabbage farming, followed by non-cabbage farming (19.74%), non-farm income (3.37%) and off-farm income (2.24%).  Moreover household expenditures of cabbage farmers consisted of food expenditures and non-food expenditures.  Household food expenditure of cabbage farmers was 44.96% per year, while non-food expenditure was 55.04% per year. Exchange rate Farmers' household income against production costs (3.57), food consumption (6.30), non-food consumption (5.15), total consumption (2.83), and total expenditure (1.58) indicate that cabbage farming households in Balik Bukit District were included in the prosperous category. Keywords: cabbage, expenses, household income, income, welfare

Abstract

Desa Rejo Agung memiliki banyak potensi desa dan terus melakukan pembenahan secara mandiri melalui berbagai program kegiatan yang telah dimasukan dalam RPJMDes Rejo Agung, guna mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Akan tetapi, program-program kegiatan pengembangan Desa Rejo Agung dirasa masih kurang optimal, sehingga perlu dilakukan penyusunan roadmap pengembangan Desa Rejo Agung dengan merujuk dokumen Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Desa (RPJMDes) Rejo Agung yang telah ada. Kendala lainnya yaitu keterbatasan aparatur desa dalam melaksanakan sistem administrasi pemerintahan desa. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui pentingnya pelaksanaan sistem administrasi pemerintahan desa, 2) Menyusun roadmap pengembangan Desa Rejo Agung, 3) Melakukan review Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Desa (RPJMDes), 4) Pemetaan wilayah berbasis potensi Desa Rejo Agung.  Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di Desa Rejo Agung Kecamatan Tegineneng Kabupaten Pesawaran,  dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua metode yaitu ceramah dan metode diskusi/sharing. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini sangat baik dan tepat sasaran.  Dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, sasaran mulai 1) memahami pentingnya aparatur desa dalam melaksanakan sistem administrasi pemerintahan desa secara tertib, 2) menyusun roadmap pengembangan Desa Rejo Agung dalam upaya meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat, memperoleh nilai tambah, serta meningkatkan PAD Rejo Agung, 3) melakukan review RPJMDes Rejo Agung, dimana RPJMDes Rejo Agung belum memasukan pertimbangan dari berbagai macam potensi desa yang dimiliki dapat dikembangkan oleh masyarakat Desa Rejo Agung, 4) memahami pentingnya pemetaan wilayah berbasis potensi Desa Rejo Agung agar dapat mudah untuk dikembangkan.Kata Kunci: kapasitas aparatur, administrasi pemetaan, RPJMDes, roadmap

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of visitors’ satisfaction at Mutun Beach, the tourist attributes that need to be improved and maintained by Mutun Beach, and to find out the driving and inhibiting factors development of Mutun Beach. The method used in this research was a survey method. The samples in this study were 4 Mutun employees and 77 visitors, which were taken using purposive sampling and accidental sampling methods. Data collection was carried out in January - February 2023. The data analysis methods used were Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), and descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicated that the level of visitor satisfaction is in the "Satisfied" category with a CSI value of 74.77%. Based on the IPA method, tourism attributes that need to be improved are the condition of game facilities such as banana boats, rubber boats and water booms, the safety of water boom, and the condition of toilet and prayer room facilities. Tourism attributes that need to be maintained are the attractiveness of the beach, cleanliness, comfortable atmosphere, calm sea water, various and condition of infrastructure and game facilities, and good service. Factors that are driving the development of Mutun Beach are high tourist attractiveness, easy accessibility, complete facilities, good service and management, and government’s role. The inhibiting factors are limited promotion, competitors or other beaches around Mutun, and limited funds and human resources.Key words: CSI, development potential, IPA, visitor satisfaction
