Abstract

Fiqh, the jurisprudential science, plays a significant role in Islam by governing various aspects of daily life, including the procedures for handling deceased bodies. However, understanding of fiqh and its application in the context of funeral rites, especially among the younger generation, is often limited. This community engagement program aims to enhance the understanding and skills of young individuals in fiqh, specifically in relation to the proper handling of deceased bodies. The program responds to the needs of the community in Murukan Village, Mojoagung Subdistrict, Jombang Regency, in improving their comprehension of fiqh and its application in funeral rites according to Islamic teachings. A sound understanding of fiqh allows individuals to perform religious rituals, navigate social life, and maintain moral ethics in accordance with religious principles. This community engagement program employs the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which is oriented towards empowering the community. The method focuses on active participation from community members or individuals involved in the research. The procedural stages of this engagement are divided into several activities, including Needs Identification, Training Material Development, Training Implementation, and Evaluation. In the context of funeral rites, this understanding enables the proper execution of tasks in line with religious values. The program involves collaboration with the village government, youth organizations, and religious institutions to support the execution of funeral training. Overall, this program successfully addresses the community's needs, improves understanding and skills related to funeral rites in accordance with Islamic teachings, and promotes active participation of the younger generation in preserving Islamic traditions and values.

Abstract

The utilization of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) based learning media has become a significant factor in enhancing the usefulness and efficiency of the learning process. The objective of this research is to develop R-SIDE applications and to test the usefulness of it for use by senior high school students. The researchers employed the research and development (R&D) method. This method comprises five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data were collected using two instruments: observation and questionnaire. Prior to implementation, the R-SIDE applications were validated by four experts, comprising two material experts and two media experts. The material expert validators indicated a level of agreement with the items in the "Agree" category, with a mean score of 80.00. Moreover, the media expert validators provided scores of 78 in the "Agree" category and 91.7 in the "Strongly Agree" category. A trial implementation was conducted on 25 students at MAAl Ihsan Tembelang Jombang, with the results of the questionnaires indicating an average score of 85.5, classified as "very good." Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the R-SIDE application is a viable method for engaging students in English learning, particularly in the context of reading skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Manajemen Pembelajaran di Pondok Pesantren As-Salafiyyah Asy-Syafi’iyyah Tambakberas Barat Jombang. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan analisis observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran ditetapkan oleh Kyai Pimpinan dengan menunjukkan kitab-kitab apa yang harus dipelajari dimulai dari kitab yang dasar sampai pada tingkat yang tinggi. Pelaksanaannya seluruh materi pembelajaran dapat tersampaikan dengan baik. Para ustadz atau ustadzah menyampaikan materi dengan metode bandongan, sorogan, hafalan, ceramah, tugas belajar, latihan, dan bandongan terbalik. Evaluasi pembelajarannya berbentuk tes tulisan, tes lisan, hafalan, dan tes secara langsung ketika pembelajaran. Hasil Manajemen Pembelajaran Pondok Pesantren As-Salafiyyah Asy-Syafi’iyyah Tambakberas Barat Jombang ustadz/ustadzah dapat memberikan stimulus kepada santri untuk aktif dan dilatih untuk mampu membaca,memaknai,dan menghafal Al-Qur’an dan pemahaman kitab kuning. Selain itu santri memiliki prestasi yang cukup dalam bidang akademik maupun non akademik. tentu pada pelaksanaan Manajemen Pembelajaran tidak terlepas dari faktor penunjang yaitu faktor ustadz, santri, sarana dan prasarana. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu tugas ganda Kyai Pimpinan dan lingkungan.
