Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the application of concrete media on the subjects of mathematics of summation materials on the learning outcomes of mi class I students An-Nidhom Kebunrejo Genteng. This type of research is quantitative with experimental methods with pre-experimental research design one group pretest-posttest. The research population is the entire mi An-Nidhom student of the 2018/2019 school year which amounts to 167 students. While the sample used in this study was 34 students in class I. Research data is collected through tests and documentation. The results showed that there was an influence on the application of concrete media on the mathematics subjects of summing materials on the learning outcomes of mi class I students An-Nidhom Kebunrejo Genteng. This is based on the results of general hypothesis testing obtained t count greater than t table which is 11,109 > 2,037 with a significant level smaller than 0.05 which is 0.00. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence on the application of concrete media on the subjects of mathematics summing materials on the learning outcomes of class I MI An-Nidhom Kebunrejo Genteng students. Where students after getting the application of peer media in mathematics subjects of summation materials experienced an increase in learning outcomes seen from the postest results given after treatment in class. The results of this study can be used as a reference by the school to conduct a follow-up program to overcome problems in classroom learning, especially related to learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was motivated by difficulties in storytelling skills in Indonesian subjects. So that students have difficulty in expressing ideas, and ideas when teachers ask students to tell stories, students tend to be lazy if the subject Indonesian.Learning storytelling skills in Indonesian subjects through this role-playing method is a game that is used as a place to act out characters, objects, plants or animals around them, so as to make students tell stories by paying attention to (1) the choice of words and sentences, (2) fluency and accuracy, and (3) the expressions shown. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of the use of role-playing methods on the storytelling skills of Indonesian subjects. The type of research used is pre-experimental quantitative research with one group pretes-postes design. The data collection method used is a test performance to determine the storytelling skills of Indonesian subjects using role-playing methods. The subjects of this study were 25 students who were taken through purposive sampling data collection techniques. The data analysis technique used is the t-test or t-test. Based on the results of the calculation, the data obtained is significant at 0.000 smaller than 0.05. Which means a signification of 0.000<0.05. Thus, this shows that the influence of role-playing methods on the storytelling skills of Indonesian subjects is acceptable. It means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected

Abstract

This research aims to determine the instillation of students' nationalist attitudes in Pancasila education subjects at MI Salafiyah Tugung Sempu. This research is a type of qualitative research field research (field research) by describing and analyzing the results of cultivating nationalist attitudes in Pancasila education subjects in the VA MI Salafiyah Tugung Sempu class. The researcher carried out the data collection process using three methods, namely observation, interviews and documentation. For data analysis, descriptive analysis is used by reducing data, presenting the data, then drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, for the validity of the data, researchers used triangulation techniques. The results of the research show that the analysis of the cultivation of nationalistic attitudes in Pancasila education lessons for the VA MI Salafiyah Tugung Sempu class for the 2023/2024 academic year includes, among other things; 1) habituation; 2) exemplary; 3) providing contextual examples and learning through stories and media, such as pictures of heroes. The nationalist attitudes that exist in class VA students are as follows; 1) the disciplined attitude of class VA students is demonstrated by always obeying school regulations; 2) an attitude of willingness to sacrifice is shown by class VA students always being willing to help when a friend is in trouble, for example helping when a friend has difficulty understanding the lesson material; 3) an honest attitude is demonstrated by always doing the assignments or tests given by the teacher yourself; 4) the attitude of unity and unity possessed by class VA students is that they always respect differences of opinion expressed between themselves and other classmates; 5) VA class students have shown an attitude of love for their country, namely in the form of good use of Indonesian when learning in class, and always using locally made products such as bags, shoes and stationery.

Abstract

This study aimed to explain the analysis of teachers' obstacles in implementing the independent curriculum in the science and science subjects of grade IV of SD Negeri III Genteng Wetan. This study used a qualitative approach of the case study type. The subjects in this study were the principal and teacher of grade IV of SD Negeri III Genteng Wetan. In the process of collecting data, several methods were used, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of this study were that at the learning planning stage, teachers experienced obstacles in compiling learning tools independently. Starting from analyzing CP, formulating TP, compiling ATP, and designing and developing teaching modules along with KKTP. Furthermore, at the stage of implementing learning, the obstacles for teachers lay in the core activities that they had not used varied learning methods, faced difficulties in using technology, had not implemented differentiated learning, and had not fully understood the concept of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). The obstacles for teachers in learning evaluation were related to diagnostic assessments that should have been carried out at the beginning of the school year to understand the conditions and characteristics of students. Of the various obstacles of teachers, this was due to the limited ability of teachers in terms of using technology and understanding the concept or learning model in the independent curriculum due to the age factor.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether the storytelling method with the help of hand puppets has an effect on the speaking skills of grade IV students of SDI Kebunrejo for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of experiment, the sample in this study is all grade IV of SDI Kebunrejo which totals 29 students. The variables of this study consist of an independent variable, namely the storytelling method with the help of hand puppets and a bound variable, namely speaking skills. Meanwhile, data collection uses observation and research instruments to search for influence data. storytelling method (X) towards the development of speaking skills (Y). From the results of the T test, the test showed that the fourth grade students of SDI Kebunrejo when the application of the storytelling method without using hand puppets to speaking skills obtained a result of 39.34 after being given the application of the storytelling method with the help of hand puppets, the result was 43.21 experienced an increase of 3.87 this is evidenced by the results of the T test, tcount -8.661 with df 28 is 0.3862, so that the tcount number is greater than the ttable, then it can be said that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Meanwhile, if you look at the significant value, 0.00≤0.05 is obtained, so it can be said that H0 is rejected and the research hypothesis is accepted. Which means that there is an effect of the application of the storytelling method with the help of hand puppets on the speaking skills of grade IV students in Indonesian language lessons with storytelling materials at SDI kebunrejo Genteng Banyuwangi for the 2023/2024 school year, so that H0 is rejected.

Abstract

Based on research conducted at MI Salafiyah Tugung Sempu, several students still face difficulties in reading, particularly in Class I C. Out of 23 students, 5 have not yet achieved adequate reading skills. These difficulties are influenced by factors stemming from both the students themselves and external factors. This study aims to describe (1) the types of reading difficulties encountered by Class I C students at MI Salafiyah Tugung Sempu and (2) the factors hindering early reading skills among these students. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study methodology. The selection of the subject class was based on considerations by the class teacher. The subjects of this study were students in Class I C in the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, specifically 4 male students and 1 female student who had low reading ability and were categorized as having reading difficulties, as well as their teacher and parents. The results of the study indicate that students experience challenges in connecting letters into words and words into meaningful sentences, as well as in using appropriate punctuation. Contributing factors in this study include a lack of interest and motivation to read, limited facilities and learning media at home, and insufficient support and reading practice in the home environment. Based on these findings, there is a need for more engaging and interactive teaching strategies to increase students' interest in reading. Furthermore, stronger parental support and the provision of adequate facilities and learning media at home are also key to overcoming these initial reading difficulties. With an integrated approach and comprehensive support from various stakeholders, students are expected to develop good reading habits and enhance their overall reading abilities.
