Abstract

This community service program aims to assist the An-Nawawi Orphanage in developing digital skills and fostering economic independence through technology-based creative entrepreneurship. The program was implemented through a series of training sessions covering graphic design, product photography, videography, as well as business development and digital marketing. Canva software was used as the primary tool for design, photography, and video editing, while the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach was applied for simple business planning. The progress results show improved competencies among the children in basic design, digital content production, and branding, alongside the active involvement of the orphanage administrators in drafting the BMC as the foundation for their business plan. The conclusion indicates that this program has successfully provided an early impact by enhancing creativity, confidence, and readiness of both the children and the administrators in utilizing digital technology. However, the main limitation is the absence of full implementation of official social media and digital marketing, as the program is still in its early stage. The contribution of this study lies in strengthening digital capacity in social communities—particularly orphanages—which can serve as a model of community engagement in the fields of visual communication design, creative entrepreneurship, and the digital economy.

Abstract

Uneven workload distribution in ship certification services is a major operational challenge for port authorities. This study applies K-Means Clustering to 18 types of certification services at KSOP Class I Panjang, involving 1,506 certificates issued from January to December 2025, using four operational variables: application frequency, completion time, number of documents, and service complexity. The Elbow Method identified K = 3 as the optimal number of clusters. Three groups were formed: Regular Services, consisting of 6 low-complexity services; Complex Services, consisting of 10 services with high technical requirements; and Dominant Services, consisting of 2 services that accounted for 62.4 percent of total certificate issuance. Cluster quality was confirmed by a Silhouette Score of 0.6221 and a Davies-Bouldin Index of 0.484. These findings contribute methodologically by demonstrating that service population-based segmentation produces valid clusters that can be directly applied as a basis for human resource reallocation, digitalization prioritization, and the formation of specialist teams within port authorities.

Abstract

The utilization of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in mapping investment opportunities has become a strategic solution to support location-based decision-making in South Lampung Regency. However, the effectiveness of such systems needs to be evaluated to ensure that all functionalities operate according to user requirements. This study aims to evaluate the performance of a GIS-based Investment Opportunity Information System using the Black Box Testing method. The testing process involved developers, administrators, and eight users from regional government organizations (OPD) to evaluate various system modules, including registration, login, GIS mapping, data visualization, and reporting. The results indicate that all system functions operate as expected and produce outputs consistent with the given inputs. Nevertheless, minor issues were identified in the graphical visualization display on certain devices. This study contributes to ensuring the functional quality of the system and provides recommendations for further system improvement
