Abstract

Pendidikan karakter perlu ditanamkan mulai dari usia dini, nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dapat diperoleh dari cerita rakyat yang ada di Indonesia khususnya di daerah Minahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: menganalisis cerita rakyat Minahasa yang digunakan dalam penanaman nilai pendidikan karakter. Penelitian menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif di PAUD Anggrek Kelurahan Malalayang Barat. Peneliti sebagai instrumen kunci, dan pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara kepada guru-guru PAUD. Teknik analisis data: membuat transkrip hasil wawancara, mengklasifikasikan data berdasarkan fokus penelitian, penemuan makna, dan  pengujian keabsahan. Penemuan dalam hasil penelitian adalah terdapat beberapa cerita rakyat Minahasa yang dapat digunakan dalam penanaman nilai karakter, nilai karakter di antaranya meningkatkan keimanan dan ketaqwaan kepada Tuhan yang Maha Esa, menghormati orang tua, dan peduli lingkungan, kegiatan pembiasaan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mendukung penanaman pendidikan karakter dengan beribadah secara teratur, bertutur kata dengan sopan dan santun, dan merawat tanaman dan hidup bersih.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of PAK learning through learning cottages at SMK Negeri 1 Tagulandang Utara. This research is a qualitative research, using a descriptive approach conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Tagulandang Utara located in the Tagulandang Islands, Sitaro Regency in 2021. The data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation studies. From the results of the research data, it was found that (1) The effectiveness of PAK learning through learning cottages was still very ineffective because the learning objectives for students were not achieved as a whole, procedures or steps were not achieved, facilities were inadequate to support learning media, and the time required only 30 minutes is very less to carry out everything, (2) There are several obstacles encountered in the learning process at the learning cottage, namely the lack of interest in student learning (3) There are efforts to overcome the obstacles encountered in the learning process in the learning cottage, namely giving motivation to increase interest in learning.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan mengenai implementasi metode diskusi dalam pembelajaran PAK di SMP Kristen Koha. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi. wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil interpretasi data dan analisis diperoleh bahwa: (1) Implementasi metode diskusi dalam pembelajaran PAK di SMP Kristen Koha adalah belum efektif/belum maksimal karna masih ditemui hambatan/kendala yang ditemui. (2) Hambatan implementasi metode diskusi dalam pembelajaran PAK di SMP Kristen Koha adalah hambatan siswa yaitu ketidaksiapan siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran karna siswa tidak mempelajari materi yang diberikan, siswa masa bodoh tidak ingin terlibat dalam diskusi, ada siswa yang tidak mampu mengeluarkan pendapat secara lisan, siswa tidak percaya diri, cenderung diskusi dikuasai oleh siswa-siswi yang banyak bicara, siswa yang tidak membawa alkitab dan buku pelajaran. Hambatan guru PAK yaitu lebih banyak memberikan tugas kepada siswa, guru PAK tidak memberikan perhatian penuh kepada siswa disaat berdiskusi, guru PAK lebih banyak berbicara dan menjelaskan materi diskusi sehingga siswa tidak berperan aktif dalam diskusi. (3) Upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru PAK untuk mengatasi hambatan implementasi metode diskusi dalam pembelajaran PAK di SMP Kristen Koha yaitu guru PAK memberikan motivasi atau semangat kepada siswa untuk percaya diri mengeluarkan pendapat, bagi siswa yang tidak ada buku pelajaran guru PAK mengarahkan kepada siswa untuk fotocopy,dan guru PAK mengarahkan siswa wajib membawa alkitab pada saat pembelajaran PAK. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut maka direkomendasikan untuk: (1) Guru PAK lebih mengaktifkan kegiatan metode diskusi pada pembelajaran PAK sehingga kegiatan pembelajaran akan lebih efektif. (2) Siswa agar lebih aktif dalam kegiatan diskusi dan menguasai materi-materi ajar yang diberikan oleh guru PAK serta berupaya membawa alkitab dan menyiapkan buku pelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the role of parents in remote learning according to charlotte mason's paradigm at tateli's Christian junior high school, mandolang district and to know the challenges parents face in the long-distance learning process. It is a qualitative study using a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study are parents, students, and teachers. Data collection takes place through interviews, observations, documentaries. Researchers act as live interviews to collect data through parents, students and teachers. The results of the study indicate that the role of parents in distance learning according to the paradigm of Charlotte Mason in Christian Junior High School, Tateli, Kec. Mandolang, namely parents as teachers at home, as facilitators, motivators, influences, preparing a clean and healthy lifestyle, especially in character building. The obstacles faced by parents are that they have enough time to accompany their children to learn from home, lack of understanding of the material from parents. Difficulty in operating gadgets, not being able to provide facilities and infrastructure and looking at the educational background of parents who cannot yet teach their children well good. Efforts made by parents to overcome obstacles in distance learning are building good communication between parents, teachers, and students, learning to understand gadgets, practicing good habits for being honest, respecting each other, being responsible, disciplined, diligent in praying, worship, study God’s word, always be grateful and so on.

Abstract

The background of this study relates to an exploration of the role of technology in the classroom learning process, especially in terms of shifting the role of the teacher as the main instructor. The rapid and ever-changing development of technology has had a huge impact on education systems around the world, such as ChatGPT. This study will conduct an in-depth analysis of ChatGPT's ability to replace the role of teachers in the classroom learning process. This research is qualitative in nature. The methodology used to collect data includes attentive listening and careful documentation of relevant information, which is then subjected to analytical procedures such as data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The study arrived at the conclusion that in the context of using ChatGPT in learning, it should be noted that technology can only be a tool and cannot replace the role of the teacher entirely. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate technology in learning in an appropriate and effective way and develop competence for teachers in managing learning with technology.

Abstract

Berdasarkan obsevasi pada tahapan inkulturasi di temukan potensi sumber daya alam di desa dan permasalahan yang di hadapi penduduk desa Tontalete. Mayoritas mata pencaharian mayoritas penduduk di desa Tontalete adalah sebagai petani dan paling banyak ditanam adalah jagung. Jagung dapat di olah menjadi kerupuk untuk mengembangkan potensi desa. Kendala yang di hadapi adalah rendahnya motivasi masyarakat untuk mengolah jagung menjadi makanan olahan yang bisa menjadi produk unggulan desa yang mempunyai nilai jual lebih tinggi. Masyarakat Tontalete selama ini hanya menjual jagung dalam bentuk bahan mentah ke pasar tradisional dan kendala yang di hadapi adalah pemasaran dari produk olahan tersebut. Melalui Program KKN IAKN Manado di lakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan memberikan pendampingan dan pelatihan sebagai upaaya peningkatan ekonomi melalui pengelolaan jagung menjadi produk olahan kerupuk. Kegiatan PkM ini di laksanakan secara kolaboratif dengan meggunakan metode ABCD (Asset Baset Community Development) dengan melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat sebagai subjek utama untuk menciptakan suatu perubahan. Hasil yang di peroleh yaitu adanya perubahan sikap pada masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan sumber daya alam khusunya jagung untuk di jual dalam produk olahan yang di kemas sehingga memberikan nilai tambah untuk di pasarkan sebagai salah satu produk pangan desa Tontalete. Tujuan dari kegiatan PkM ini adalah untuk meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat melalui potensi/asset pangan, di desa Tontalete, meningkatkab keterampilan masyarakat dalam produktivitas, antusisas dan pemasaran produk makanan secara online maupun offline.

Abstract

Distance learning at state Christian higher education institutions is something new. Therefore, this research aims to determine the appropriate strategy for implementing distance learning at Manado State Christian Institute. This research method uses a mixed method design, mixed method research that combines qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods in one study and is carried out from April to June 2023. The method used by the respondents was the purposive sampling method. Respondents were selected from internal and external stakeholders, consisting of information technology and database unit staff, lecturers and students, and experts in the field of implementing distance learning. The instruments are the researchers themselves, interview guidelines, and questionnaires. Data analysis in the study uses SWOT and QSPM analysis methods. The results showed that based on the results of the IE analysis, the Manado State Christian Institute's position is in Quadrant II Growth Strategy (concentration through horizontal integration) with coordinate values (2.84, 3.39), which means that Manado State Christian Institute can improve its performance with internal and external resources. While the results of the QSPM analysis show that the three priority strategies for implementing distance learning are 1) Conducting benchmarking studies for the distance learning team with accredited excellence universities that offer distance education, 2) Strengthening the authority and responsibilities of distance education managers, and 3) Enhancing digital/cyber-based governance. This strategy is a priority strategy that will be implemented.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance at SMTK North Sulawesi. The research method used is associative quantitative research using non-random sampling, namely purposive sampling. Data on general and Christian principal leadership and teacher performance were obtained using a Likert measurement scale. The data analysis techniques used are simple regression analysis, T test and coefficient of determination. The research results show that there is a significant influence between classroom management on learning motivation for Christian Religious Education through the equation Y=32.821+0.828X with a correlation coefficient of 0.974. This means that the better the principal's leadership, the higher the teacher's performance. Furthermore, the results obtained from calculating the coefficient of determination show that there is an influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance of 93.2% and the remaining 6.8% is influenced by other factors not examined by researchers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model pendidikan lingkungan hidup berbasis ekoteologi melalui program “Sentuh Tanah” yang dilaksanakan di Sekolah Minggu GMIM Tabur Kasih Malalayang. Program ini dirancang untuk mengajarkan anak-anak pentingnya menjaga lingkungan, memanfaatkan lahan secara produktif, dan menumbuhkan rasa tanggung jawab terhadap ciptaan Tuhan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program “Sentuh Tanah” direncanakan dengan membuat rencana kerja harian, menyediakan lahan, dan menentukan jenis tanaman yang cocok. Pelaksanaan program dilaksanakan dengan pembersihan lahan, penggemburan tanah, dan selanjutnya penanaman bibit, serta monev melalui pengecekan secara berkala terhadap kondisi tanaman dan melibatkan orang tua dalam menilai perubahan perilaku anak dalam kebersihan lingkungan.

Abstract

Minahasa local wisdom and Christian tradition have spiritual, moral and social values in addressing contemporary issues surrounding interfaith relations. This article aims to analyze and describe the concept of Si Tou Timou Tumou Tou in Minahasa philosophy based on Matthew 22:39 as a strengthening of religious moderation in Laikit village, North Minahasa. The community in Laikit village which is plural from ethnicity, race, religion and inter-group elements does not make people coexist disharmoniously. Differences become a place to enrich, support, help and equip each other as fellow human beings. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and document studies. Through this research it was found; first, the philosophy of Si Tou Timou Tumou Tou contributes to the strengthening of religious moderation in Laikit village, North Minahasa, which is manifested in solidarity, openness, mutual love/help, discipline. Second, Jesus' teaching in Matthew 22:39 becomes the principle of Christian life in the midst of diversity. Christians are called to be others for others. Third, the integration of the philosophy of Si Tou Timou Tumou Tou in the light of Matthew 22:39 is relevant and appropriate to create tolerance between religious communities, strengthening through integrating local wisdom values and biblical values is significant. The implementation of strengthening religious moderation based on local and theological wisdom can improve the quality of harmonious life in the community.
