Abstract

— Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a field of computer science aimed at developing machines capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. In recent years, the development of AI has shown significant progress, and its use has expanded across various sectors, including education. The application of AI in education offers various opportunities and challenges, such as personalized learning and enhancing students' skills, but also presents challenges in technological adaptation and ethical understanding. This paper discusses the utilization of AI-based facial recognition technology at SMK Kuncup Samigaluh, with the goal of enhancing students' competence in information technology. This community service activity involves a series of structured stages, including initial planning, activity implementation, discussion and Q&A, as well as evaluation and feedback. The results of this activity indicate a significant improvement in students' understanding of AI and facial recognition technology, as evidenced by the increase in post-test scores compared to pre-test scores. With an interactive demonstrative approach, this activity successfully provided a positive impact on students' knowledge and interest in AI, and broadened their horizons regarding career opportunities in information technology.

Abstract

Wein's Fresh Store is a distributor that sells local and imported fruits. However, the store still uses manual sales transactions. This results in inadequate transaction effectiveness in bridging transactions to buyers. To overcome this problem, an electronic trading platform called Wein's Fresh Apps was created, based on the Android mobile platform using Android mobile devices as a transaction medium. Through the Android application installed on mobile devices, users can easily sell and buy products in the online store. The Android-based online store has many advantages for users, including easier access and higher mobility, wider time flexibility, and a wider selection of products. Various attractive features such as the use of discount coupons, a secure payment system, and fast and reliable delivery further enhance the shopping experience in the Android-based online store. Wein's Fresh Store is a mobile-based online sales application using the prototype method. The prototyping technique is a method used to quickly gather information about user needs for software. This method focuses on presenting the software aspects that will be seen by customers or users. To build Wein's Fresh Apps application, the Dart programming language and the Flutter framework were used. Flutter is a popular cross-platform framework used to develop mobile and iOS applications. This framework is specifically designed to build mobile application interfaces (UI). Wein's Fresh Apps was created to facilitate store buyers in making purchases through the application, so they no longer need to come directly to the store. Toko Wein’s Fresh Adalah distributor yang membeli buah lokal dan impor. Namun toko tersebut masih menggunakan transaksi penjualan secara manual. Hal ini mengakibatkan kefektifan dalam bertansaksi untuk menjembatani transaksi ke pembeli kurang memadai. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, maka dibuatlah sebuah platform perdagangan elektronik bernama Wein’s Fresh Apps yang berbasis mobile Android menggunakan perangkat seluler Android sebagai media transaksinya. Melalui aplikasi Android yang terinstal di perangkat seluler, pengguna dapat dengan mudah menjual dan membeli produk di toko online tersebut. Toko online berbasis mobile Android memiliki banyak keuntungan untuk pengguna, di antaranya adalah kemudahan akses dan mobilitas yang lebih tinggi, fleksibilitas waktu yang lebih luas, dan pilihan produk yang lebih banyak dan bervariasi. Berbagai fitur menarik seperti penggunaan kupon diskon, sistem pembayaran yang aman, dan pengiriman yang cepat dan terpercaya, semakin meningkatkan pengalaman berbelanja di toko online berbasis mobile Android. Toko Wein’s Fresh adalah aplikasi penjualan online yang berbasis mobile dengan metode prototype.Teknik prototyping adalah metode yang digunakan untuk dengan cepat mengumpulkan informasi tentang kebutuhan pengguna tentang perangkat lunak. Metode ini berfokus pada presentasi aspek-aspek perangkat lunak yang akan terlihat oleh pelanggan atau pengguna. Untuk membangun aplikasi Wein’s Fresh Apps, digunakan bahasa pemrograman dart framework Flutter. Flutter merupakan sebuah cross-platform framework yang populer digunakan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi mobile dan iOS. Framework ini dirancang khusus untuk membangun antarmuka (UI) aplikasi mobile. Wein’s Fresh Apps ini dibuat untuk memudahkan pembeli toko dalam melakukan pembelian barang melalui aplikasi, sehingga tidak perlu lagi datang langsung ke toko tersebut.

Abstract

Apples are one of the horticultural commodities in Indonesia with production reaching 5,235,955 quintals in 2022, but decreasing to 3,925,628 quintals in 2023. One of the causes of this decline is diseases in apple plants that occur on the leaves, such as scab, black rot, and cedar rust, which can result in a decrease in the quality and quantity of production. Therefore, technology is needed for fast and accurate classification of diseases on apple leaves. This study uses a CNN model with DenseNet169 with optimization on data preprocessing and hyperparameter tuning to improve the accuracy of the apple leaf disease classification model. A total of 36 combinations of data preprocessing and hyperparameter tuning scenarios were tested on the apple leaf image dataset consisting of 4 classes: scab, black rot, cedar rust, and healthy. The optimal scenario is obtained from a combination of RGB + CLAHE with RMSprop optimizer and a learning rate of 0.0001 (P6 + H4), which results in 99.39% accuracy, 99.4% precision, 99.39% recall, and 99.39% f1-score. The results of this study show that the selection of the right preprocessing data and hyperparameter tuning greatly affects the performance of the apple leaf disease classification model.

Abstract

There are problems in managing mosque fundraising, namely lack of clarity and lack of responsibility in reporting which can cause mosque financial reports to the congregation to be simplistic.This research examines various aspects that need to be considered when raising funds for mosques via online platforms or involving websites and crowdfunding. The focus of the research is focused on analyzing strategies, obstacles and solutions that arise in implementing mosque fundraising using website and crowdfunding platforms. The aim of this research is to analyze the system creation process that emerges in implementing mosque fundraising using website and crowdfunding platforms. The method used in this research is a software development method which involves steps such as communication, planning, system design, program creation, and system testing. The system can operate effectively and meet user needs as well as the mosque's fundraising goals. Evaluation of feedback from users during testing helps determine the extent to which the system meets their expectations and needs.

Abstract

Effective information delivery is crucial in business, especially in managing transactions and inventory. Multi Ban Secang Motorcycle Tire Shop still relies on conventional methods for transaction recording and inventory management, leading to errors in data entry, inventory discrepancies, and delayed reporting, which result in decreased customer satisfaction and revenue. To address these issues, this study designs and develops a Point of Sale (POS) system expected to enhance operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making. The aim of this research is to design a POS application that can be implemented at Multi Ban Secang Motorcycle Tire Shop to resolve various problems in inventory and transaction management. The developed POS system will provide more accurate data management, speed up transaction processes, and generate real-time sales and inventory reports. The research follows the SDLC waterfall model, consisting of five stages, from requirements analysis to system evaluation and maintenance. The results of the study show that the implementation of the POS system improves efficiency in transaction recording and inventory management, as well as accelerates report generation. The system also enables users to monitor data in real-time and minimizes recording errors. Testing with the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method showed a high user acceptance rate, indicating that the POS application is effective in improving store operations and strengthening business competitiveness.

Abstract

The documentary video “115. You Are Human Too” from the #MenjadiManusia YouTube channel raises mental health issues with an empathic narrative approach. Social media plays a role in shaping public understanding, but opinions vary from support to stigma. This study analyzed the sentiment of 1,350 comments on the video using the YouTube API. Comments were classified into positive, negative and neutral sentiments using the IndoBERT model after preprocessing. Four machine learning algorithms were compared: Naïve Bayes, Random Forest, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Extra Trees. Results showed that SVM had the highest accuracy (79.67%), followed by Random Forest (78.02%), Extra Trees (75.27%), and Naïve Bayes (70.33%). This analysis reveals patterns of public opinion on mental health, which can serve as a reference for academics, health practitioners, and policy makers in designing more effective communication strategies. In addition, this research is expected to increase public understanding of mental health and encourage more inclusive discussions on social media.
