Abstract

Abstract Talking about the ethics of participating in politics in the life of a nation and a country, we have to admit that nowadays many among the political elite tends to be politicking with ethical dereliction of outstanding statesmanship. An awful lot of the fact that their politicking done without rationality, emotions and putting forward the interests of the group, and does not give priority to the interests of a nation. Politics is not a purely pragmatic nature of case, which concerns only a goal and how to achieve those goals, that can be handled with rationality. Looks more like a political ethics demand that a destination that is selected must be justified by common sense that can be tested, and how to achieve them must be defined can be tested with the moral criteria. Honesty in politics is very important in the efforts to improve the situation of the nation is full of falsehoods. High low moral integrity of a person in politics to determine high low integrity of the personality and the quality of the politicking politicians. With still having our politicians are unscrupulous, allowing us to hope for improvement of politics and morality that are dilapidated. Keywords: ethics, politics, honesty

Abstract

This research is part of Creative Economy Sub-Sector?s Mapping and Clustering in Kendal Regency. The research aims to describe stakeholder understanding (refers to Kendal Regency Government) towards the creative economy concept using diffusion of innovation theory. The diffusion of innovation is used because Kendal Regency Government is still not familiar with the concept of the creative economy. This qualitative descriptive research used interviews, observation, FGD, and literature study as the method to gather data. Results showed that from 229 SME labeled with the creative economy by Youth, Sports, and Tourism Department, Kendal Regency only 66 of them that met Creative Economy Agency (Badan Ekonomi Kreatif- BEKRAF) criteria. This means that the officials' understanding of the concept of the creative economy is not yet comprehensive. The creative economy is essential to shape the image of the regency (city branding). On the other hand, Kendal Regency had a program to improve the image of the city as a form of smart branding. Smart Branding was a derivation of the Smart City Kendal master plan in 2018-2028. The lack of relevant data in the Kendal District Government showed that the desire to improve the image of the city had not been worked out effectively.

Abstract

Kendal Regency is one of many regencies in Central Java with abundant natural resources, especially in agriculture, fisheries, handicrafts, and tourism. Some of the potential resources include milkfish, rambak crackers, batik tulis, and also border crafts. However, despite the potential, some developmental problems still exist, namely the unmanaged potential of various sectors in Kendal Regency. In order to overcome these problems, a plan that is systematic, dynamic and applicable is required. The strategy is to form a forum that accommodates various elements / communities to develop a system that can manage existing potential in Kendal Regency. The purpose of this research is to develop a concept to serve as a role model in the implementation of creative economy development activities in an effort to accelerate the growth of sub-sectors.This research is an applied research with the final goal of solving the problems at the research location by designing a model and formulating strategies for managing the potential of creative economy in Kendal Regency through the development of Creative Studio concept. The concept of Creative Studio is an idea by Selamat Sri University academics that provides a forum for business people / communities in terms of developing creative economic activities, managing available potential, producing goods / services, education, promotion, packaging, and collaborating with various party. This concept is meant for clustering (mapping the potential of the creative economy), organizing and managing (organizing and managing communities), Community empowerment, Packaging, Promotion and Branding, Education and Research, and lastly, Legal and FinancialABSTRAK: Kabupaten Kendal merupakan salah satu Kabupaten di Jawa Tengah yang memiliki sumber daya alam yang berlimpah khususnya dalam bidang pertanian, perikanan, kerajinan, dan pariwisata Beberapa potensi daerahnya meliputi ikan bandeng, kerupuk rambak, batik tulis, dan juga kerajinan border. Namun, disamping memiliki potensi tetapi masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan pembangunan yang masih dihadapi, yakni belum terkelolanya potensi-potensi dari berbagai sector yang ada di Kabupaten Kendal. Mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan suatu perencanaan yang bersifat sistematis, dinamis dan aplikatif. Strateginya adalah harus dibentuk suatu wadah yang mengakomodasi berbagai elemen/komunitas untuk bergerak membangun sistem dalam pengelolaan potensi yang ada di Kabupaten Kendal. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah menyusun konsep untuk menjadi role model dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengembangan ekonomi kreatif sebagai upaya untuk mempercepat pertumbuhan sub sektor-sub sektor. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian terapan (applied research) dengan tujuan akhir dari penelitian yakni pemecahan masalah yang dihadapi di lokasi penelitian dengan mendesain model dan perumusan strategi pengelolaan potensi ekonomi kreatif di Kabupaten Kendal melalui pembuatan konsep Studio Kreatif. Konsep Studio Kreatif merupakan gagasan ide yang diberikan oleh akademisi Universitas Selamat Sri untuk menyediakan wadah bagi para pelaku usaha/komunitas dalam hal mengembangkan kegiatan ekonomi kreatif, mengelola potensi yang tersedia, memproduksi barang/jasa, edukasi, promosi, packaging, serta melakukan kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak. Isi dari konsep ini tidak lain adalah untuk tujuan clustering (pemetaan potensi Ekonomi kreatif), organizing and managing (menggornanisasikan dan majemen komunitas), Community empowerment (pemberdayaan masyarakat), Packaging, Promotion and Branding, Education and Research, dan terakhir adalah Haki dan Finansial

Abstract

Isu lingkungan di pesisir yang menjadi sorotan karena keberadaannya yang penting, namun kondisinya semakin kritis adalah hutan mangrove. Berawal dari kondisi hutan mangrove yang rusak dan memprihatinkan, tercetuslah gerakan kampanye pelestarian hutan mangrove yang diinisiasi oleh KeSEMaT. Keberhasilan suatu kegiatan komunikasi adalah ditentukan oleh bagaimana strategi komunikasi itu dijalankan. Berdasarkan kerangka pikir tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengevaluasi strategi komunikasi kampanye yang dilakukan oleh KeSEMaT dalam pelestarian hutan mangrove. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori perencanaan kampanye milik Anne Gregory. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif studi evaluatif. Strategi komunikasi KeSEMaT dalam pelestarian hutan mangrove telah melewati beberapa tahap yang sesuai dengan teori strategi komunikasi mulai dari analisis masalah, penetapan tujuan, sasaran, pesan, strategi dan taktik, skala waktu dan sumber daya, serta evaluasi dan tinjauan. KeSEMaT melakukan kegiatan komunikasi secara terencana dan membagi program-program komunikasi yang dievaluasi setiap program kampanye tersebut selesai dilaksanakan. Dari kegiatan kampanye yang dilakukan oleh KeSEMaT mampu memberikan informasi, menumbuhkan pengetahuan dan kepedulian masyarakat, pemerintah maupun korporasi terhadap isu yang terkait dengan pelestarian ekosistem hutan mangrove yang memiliki peranan yang sangat besar dalam keberlangsungan kehidupan.

Abstract

Users’ identity is important in accessing social media and digital platforms. This identity is formed and accessed digitally and can serve to identify fellow users of the platform. Digital identity can be in two forms: partial and social. Identity in social media is important because this is the main thing that needs to be done before users can carry out activities such as uploading and commenting on their own accounts. This study aims to identify how users respond to the creation of a user's digital identity on social media. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a survey method involving 218 respondents of various ages, occupations, and forms of access to social media. The data collection process was carried out in August-September 2022. The results of this study indicate that in creating a partial digital identity, most users display personal data that is the same as their identity in the real world. Then on account ownership, most users gave an approval response to the ownership of more than one account on their social media. Finally, users' self-disclosure on social media is carried out through a selection process on activities that are shared publicly and privately through their social media accounts.

Abstract

Learning Literacy, Numeration, and Technology Adaptation is now very important for students, especially in elementary school, to strengthen the concept of logical thinking. Literacy is critical because it relates to the child's ability to listen, review, speak to observe so that they can communicate well without being affected by the subject of the audience. At the same time, numeracy skills are defined as the ability to interpret, access, use and link the concepts in mathematics in their application. However, in fact for implementing literacy and numeracy learning in schools is still considered a challenge in itself, colliding with limited access and materials, especially in this Covid-19 pandemic condition. So, this service activity was carried out by maximizing the literacy and numeracy learning mentoring process at the Kutorembet SDN placement location, which took place from August 2, 2021 to December 17, 2021. Activities carried out include teaching and learning activities to provide academic assistance. The key teaching and learning activities focus on literacy and numeracy education activities. Activities to help adapt technology are realized by showing educational videos to students and assistance in ANBK activities, as well as school administrative assistance activities which are realized by maximizing the function of the school library. This activity is carried out online and offline, considering the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, which require actions to occur in a hybrid manner. From this activity, it was found that the results of improving literacy and numeracy for elementary school students at SDN 2 Kutorembet and also additional literacy for classroom teachers in preparing existing learning media.

Abstract

Social media grow rapidly and encourage people to access the information in a quick way. Turun Tangan is a non-profit organization and used social media as tools to share information and expand its network. As such, a social media training is very needed. The training was conducted in three sections, Digital Literacy Skills seminar, Digital Content Creation training, and Copywriting training. The training was held online and there were 100 Turun Tangan volunteers participated in the program. From the training, they get information about basic digital literacy skills and upgrade their digital skills in creating creative digital content and copywriting.

Abstract

Potensi wisata yang berkembang saat ini adalah wisata religi atau yang biasa disebut dengan ziarah. Wisata religi merupakan kegiatan melakukan perjalanan dengan tujuan mendapatkan kenikmatan, kepuasan serta pengetahuan. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui stategi promosi dan spiritual marketing yang digunakan pengelola wisata religi Makam Aulia Gunungpring serta sebagai pariwisata berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengambilan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara untuk mendapatkan data primer dan sekunder. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Makam Aulia Gunungpring telah melaksanakan konsep spiritual marketing akan tetapi sudah secara baik. Namun, makam Aulia Gunungpring belum menerapkan strategi pemasaran melalui media sosial guna mendukung kegiatan spiritual marketing. Konsep spiritual marketing menjadi strategi pemasaran pariwisata Gunungpring yang religius dan sarat dengan nuansa budaya. Konsep spiritual marketing memiliki orientasi kepada Allah, sehingga seluruh proses dalam kegiatan pemasaran mengikuti tuntunan Islam.

Abstract

Communication that occurs in the current era is progressing rapidly. The progress of communication is still at a stage that can be renewed. The development in the field of communication that occurs in the current era is caused by various capabilities and potential communication technologies so that humans can relate and meet communication needs. This study raises questions about the communication patterns that occur when playing Valorant games using discord applications. The goal of the study was to find out the communication patterns that occur in teams while playing Valorant games using Discord apps. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that, as a team game, it is necessary to organize the squad to fill certain roles. The role in the team when playing Valorant is given and becomes a specialization depending on the skills possessed. There are 2 roles in the Valorant game, namely, primary roles and secondary roles. The results also reveal that good communication in the Valorant game is important because good communication can lead to victory. Virtual communication using the Discord application is one of the things that can be used when playing Valorant games because Discord has provided space to communicate both orally and in writing. This is because when playing the Valorant game, there is no miscommunication between players in a team and they can achieve a win together.
