Abstract

Every Christian principal has many tasks and responsibilities in managing school which are very tricky because the educational organization needs to operate effectively and efficiently. As a Christian leader, the principal must carry out appropriately the practice of leadership in a time of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Christian principals must conduct effective leadership in order to drive, motivate, and direct all people at the school for attaining the aims of education. This article is to investigate factors contributing to the effectiveness of Christian principal leadership that a literature review was used. The result of the study identified four factors that promote the effectiveness of Christian principal leadership, namely a good relationship with God; having the right attitude, vision, and mission of the school based on Christian values; and the availability of school resources. This study also contributes toward the improvement of the knowledge about Christian school principals. Moreover, researchers and practitioners in Christian education are strongly recommended to explore further the topic of Christian principal leadership for the improvement of Christian school management.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship built by teachers with students who are centered on Christ so that it can be a solution in changing student learning behavior. By using a descriptive method and a qualitative approach, it was found that the solution for PAK learning during a pandemic is to build a harmonious and good relationship between teachers and students, in which there is openness and a restoration of teacher-student relationships, and in the end there is a change in behavior in learning. student. In the conditions of the covid-19 pandemic, the example in building true relationships is to see the relationship between Christ and his church, in this case the PAK teacher. So that PAK teachers can view students as God views and treat PAK teachers in faithful love.Keywords: Christ centered; teacher-student; learning behaviour; covid-19 pandemicAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan relasi yang dibangun oleh guru dengan siswa yang berpusat pada Kristus sehingga dapat sebagaiĀ  solusi dalam perubahan perilaku belajar siswa. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif, ditemukan bahwa solusi pembelajaran PAK di masa pandemi adalah dengan membangun relasi yang harmonis dan baik antara guru dan siswa, yang di dalamnya ada keterbukaan dan terjadi pemulihan hubungan guru-siswa, dan pada akhirnya ada perubahan perilaku dalam belajar siswa. Dalam kondisi pandemi covid-19, teladan dalam membangun relasi yang sejati adalah melihat hubungan antara Kristus dan gerejanya, dalam hal ini guru PAK. Sehingga guru PAK dapat memandang siswa sebagaimana Allah memandang dan memperlakukan guru PAK dalam kasih setia.
