Abstract

Vocational Higher Education in providing quality vocational higher education is inseparable from its education model that implements PBET (Production Based Education and Training). To support this educational model, Vocational Higher Education has an educational facility called the Learning Factory. The concept of Learning Factory is facing challenges due to the extraordinary events post of the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizational strategic management is needed in relaxing concepts and activities related to the learning factory in Vocational Higher Education. Organizations must be able to formulate strategic policies that focus on the health and safety of students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Relaxation is a way or action to align the mind in a constructive direction so that what you want can be achieved. The main changes needed in Learning Factory Relaxation are the Implementation Model and the Learning Matrix. Both require Authorization in a process that supports teaching activities and the desired result. Therefore, principles are needed to support the achievement of modules that are open to the entire learning process and make prototypes for vocational students. As a form of a new breakthrough with technology in the industrial sector and getting around the adaptation of new habits during the Covid-19 pandemic, the learning process must be developed more innovatively and continues to be productive for the sake of mutual welfare. In realizing adaptive relaxation, it is necessary to focus on assessing the functions of Technoware, Infoware, Humanware, and Organware (THIO) as tools that Vocational Higher Education can use to improve services to stakeholders.

Abstract

The communication media tools include the press, print media, film, radio, and television. Communication media has opportunities, challenges, and abilities in providing value to human society. One of the print media studied is cartoons. One of the print media in the form of cartoons is the "Pak Krumun" Cartoon. "Pak Krumun" is a cartoon that is in Utusan Magazine. This research aims to study the influence of "Pak Krumun" cartoon art media on readers' lives. The research methods used are literature study, interviews, and questionnaires. A literature study was conducted to find out about thoughts about cartoons, media, and the Church. Interviews were conducted with readers and Pak Bambang Shakuntala the creator of the "Pak Krumun" cartoon. The questionnaire was given to readers as many as 162 respondents, to find out the learning outcomes obtained from "Pak Krumun" cartoons. "Pak Krumun" cartoon is the work of Bambang Shakuntala who invites people to reflect on their lives. "Pak Krumun" cartoons provide real and concrete themes of people's lives.

Abstract

Teaching factory adalah suatu konsep pembelajaran di sekolah vokasi yang berbasis produksi atau jasa yang mengacu kepada standar dan prosedur yang berlaku di industri. SMK dengan jurusan teknik permesinan adalah salah satu satuan pendidikan vokasi yang berdampak dalam mengimplementasikan teaching factory. Dampak disebabkan karena peralatan dan bahan yang dibutuhkan dalam implementasi teaching factory tidaklah murah, apalagi jika biaya hanya dibebankan pada sumbangan pembinaan pendidikan (SPP) SMK. Implementasi teaching factory dapat lebih ringan dalam pembiayaan apabila SMK jurusan teknik permesinan tidak hanya menerapkan model pembelajaran praktik saja, namun juga menjalankan bisnis agar bengkel dapat berjalan mandiri secara finansial sebagai tempat praktik peserta didik. SMK jurusan teknik permesinan membutuhkan formulasi model bisnis dengan konsep kanvas berdasarkan kurikulum pembelajaran dan kebutuhan industri untuk implementasi teaching factory. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini nanti diharapkan mendapatkan data secara mendalam dari obyek pengkajian bersumber dari hasil wawancara dengan narasumber yang sudah ditentukan. Teknik wawancara yang dilakukan adalah tanya jawab terstruktur dengan pemberian pertanyaan. Wawancara dilakukan pada tiga Kepala SMK jurusan teknik permesinan dan perwakilan IDUKA yang menjadi pelanggan SMK terkait. Dari hasil formulasi kanvas model bisnis untuk SMK jurusan teknik permesinan, diharapkan dapat mengimplementasikan teaching factory dengan tepat. Value propotition yang ditawarkan untuk SMK jurusan teknik permesinan adalah jasa manufaktur baik itu permesinan manual, CNC, maupun kerja bangku dengan harga yang lebih terjangkau. Selanjutnya, value propotition terkait penciptaan mesin tepat guna sesuai kebutuhan industri di sekitarnya. Perubahan value propotition ini menuntut SMK jurusan teknik permesinan untuk mengubah statuta dan struktur organisasi sekolah.

Abstract

3DPrinting filament from PET plastic bottle waste is one appropriate solution to overcome PET plastic waste. This research aims to develop a PET plastic bottle waste recycling method using extrusion technology into 3DPrinting filament. The filament formed is used in the printing process using a 3DPrinting FDM machine. The printed object specimens were Dogbone ASTMD638 Type V. Previous research used tensile test and macroscopy photography methods to observe the tensile strength. This research used filament-making, tensile test, and SEM test methods. This research showed that PET plastic bottle waste can be recycled into 3DPrinting filaments. Based on the tensile test result, the average maximum tensile stress from lowest to highest in the sequence was 7.4 MPa, 12.4 MPa, and 14.9 MPa. The type of fracture that occurred in the specimen with the highest maximum tensile strength was a brittle fracture.

Abstract

Untuk memecahkan solusi mesin berurutan (sequential machine) tidak cukup menggunakan diagram alir sebagai metode pemecahan masalah. Sebuah metode yang dapat memecahkan solusi membuat program pada mesin berurutan diantaranya adalah metode diagram keadaan (state diagram). Penerapannya berupa alat pemilah benda kerja berdasarkan warna, yang merupakan sebuah modul praktikum didesain untuk pembelajaran Sistem Otomasi Industri/Sistem PLC dengan pengendali PLC, yang menjadi obyek penelitian pada paper ini. Dengan sebuah konveyor, benda kerja yang terkategori 4 warna benda kerja dipilah dengan tepat dan diarahkan untuk masuk ke lokasi yang telah ditetapkan. Metode diagram keadaan diterapkan sebagai sebuah strategi perancangan program ladder diagram dan dapat menggantikan diagram alir sebagai sebuah algoritma pemrograman konvensional. Hasil akhir berupa rancangan dan implementasi program ladder diagram PLC dan diujicobakan ke sejumlah mahasiswa sebagai sebuah pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Dari ujicoba menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis masalah ini disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa meningkat pemahaman atas permasalahan modul ini sekitar 38%.

Abstract

Penimbangan berat badan anak dengan menggunakan timbangan anak terkadang menjadi permasalahan yang cukup sulit, dimana bayi menangis, terus bergerak, bahkan timbangan menjadi tidak akurat karena bayi banyak bergerak. Alat timbangan konvensional maupun digital yang digunakan saat ini, kebanyakan menggunakan metode anak diletakkan di dalam timbangan kemudian melakukan pengukuran berat badan anak. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, solusi yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan merancang alat timbangan dimana metode yang digunakan yaitu penimbangan ibu dan anak ditimbang bersama. Rancangan timbangan ibu dan anak dibutuhkan, agar dapat memberikan keamanan dan kenyamanan bagi anak. Keamanan dan kenyamanan menjadi prioritas dasar perancangan desain produk timbangan ibu dan anak. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan rancangan desain timbangan ibu dan anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif eksploratif dan teknik observasi participative pasif. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, studi literatur. Hasil analisis data selanjutnya dilakukan sintesis untuk pengembangan gagasan bentuk desain dan konsep rancangan desain model inovasi produk timbangan. Pembuktian penelitian berupa perancangan dilakukan dengan pembuatan prototipe. Pembuatan prototipe fokus pada pembuatan unit mekanik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep rancangan desain produk timbangan aman, nyaman dan mudah digunakan. Desain memenuhi faktor fisik, fitur, gaya, dan desain telah terpenuhi dalam desain produk yang dirancang, sehingga memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman bagi penimbang, ibu dan anak.
