Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Self Regulated Learning and Academic Stress During Online Learning in Psychology Study Program Students, University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. The variables contained in this study are self-regulated learning as the independent variable and academic stress as the dependent variable. This research uses non - probability sampling technique . The number of samples used were 248 students. The results in this study indicate a correlation coefficient of -0.466 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a negative relationship between self-regulated learning and academic stress. This means that the higher self-regulated learning during online learning, the lower academic stress during online learning experienced by psychology study program students at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo, on the other hand, if self-regulated learning is lower, academic stress during online learning will be higher. Highlights: Negative correlation: The study found a negative relationship between self-regulated learning and academic stress during online learning among psychology study program students. Higher self-regulated learning was associated with lower academic stress. Sample size and technique: The research utilized a non-probability sampling technique and included a sample of 248 students, emphasizing the generalizability of the findings to the target population. Significance of online learning: The study specifically focused on the context of online learning, highlighting the importance of self-regulated learning in mitigating academic stress among students in the psychology study program at the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Abstract

A single parent is a parent who alone raises their children without the presence, support or responsibility of their spouse. Mothers must play a major role in the growth and development of children, because mothers are the first teachers who can have a very big influence on their children. Being a single parent with teenage children is a great gift entrusted by the creator, having teenage children means having a big responsibility in guiding them to adulthood. This study aims to describe the model of single mother parenting. The subjects in this study consisted of 2 single mothers, the sample in this study used the snowball sampling technique and met the following criteria: 1) single mothers 2) domiciled in Taman, Sidoarjo. This study uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach. The data collection technique used by the researcher is interviews. The results of this study stated that the two subjects applied the democratic parenting model to their teenage children.. Highlights: Single-parenting challenges: The study focuses on the unique experiences and challenges faced by single mothers in raising their teenage children alone. Democratic parenting: The research highlights the application of the democratic parenting model by single mothers as an effective approach in guiding their teenage children. Qualitative case study: The study employs qualitative research methods, using interviews as the primary data collection technique, to gain in-depth insights into the experiences and parenting practices of the single mothers in the sample. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control and self-regulated learning in students of the Faculty of Psychology and Education at the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo who have a tendency to have low levels of self-regulated learning. The population in this study were students of the eighth amounting to 463 students and the sample of this study was 210 students who were taken using cluster sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a psychological scale with a likert, namely the self-control scale and a self -regulated learning scale compiled by researchers based on aspects of the scale. The data analysis technique used is the Spearman rho assisted by JASP software. The results of data analysis obtained rxy = 0.694 with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, then the proposed hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a significant positive relationship between self-control and self-regulated learning in eighth semester students of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Muhammaadiyah Sidoarjo. Highlights: Relationship between self-control and self-regulated learning: The study explores the connection between self-control and self-regulated learning in students with low levels of self-regulated learning. Sample and data collection: The study includes 210 eighth-semester students from the Faculty of Psychology and Education at the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Data was collected using Likert scales developed by the researchers. Statistical analysis and results: Spearman rho analysis with JASP software revealed a significant positive relationship (rxy = 0.694, p = 0.001) between self-control and self-regulated learning, confirming the proposed hypothesis.
